I will never buy another running shoe that is not gortex. Everyone I train with complains about wet feet and how that hinders performance. The shoe itself is comfortable to wear in a relaxed manor however, when it's time for increasing intensity a simple quick pull adjustment and tuck of the excess is all it takes!

Shoes are really comfortable. They have great traction and are very durable.

I bought these shoes to play golf. My regular golf shoes ( Footjoy Pro SL )did not have any side support and I wanted to try these out. So far I love them and they are standing up to the game requirements. I would definitely recommend them for golf.

Great show, just a little to narrow for my wide mens feet. Would have bought another in a wider size, but the model is discontinued. Great shoe overall.
I'd also recommend:

I went for a run after a rainy day. Still cold out the day I went. I was able to run over parts of the trail I wouldn't dare with my other shoes or I'd be eating mud. These shoes kept my feet warm and preformed beyond expectations on wet muddy hills...

I purchased the Supercross Blast GTX as my hiking shoes for a cross country road trip I'd planned with a buddy. The product held itself well throughout all the tests and trials, including a 20ft tumble down a rock cliffside. Highly recommend for those interested in long lasting, durable footwear! Couple things to note: The rigidity of the cuff may make it uncomfortable to those who have sensitive ankles, and the Goretex may be a bit too much insulation for the feet when going out to humid areas.

Tried these instead of another shoe that just didn't last. Maybe defective. Whatever the case these have stood the test! I'm on asphalt 5 days a week and trails the other 2. That's a lot of hours and 6 months later just getting to the end of the lugs. Highly recommend!

Happy with the shoe. First day of use put to work in water and snow. No leaks! No slips! Looking forward to other color option availability soon!

I highly recommend these shoes, they are tough, waterproof, and have excellent grip. They are quick to break in and true to size. The soles make trail running a pleasure with great grip. They also look fashionable enough to wear around town.

I bought these because of the color. I have 2 pairs that are black and white and they are so light weight , comfortable and supportive I use them for golf and hiking. These new ones will be primarily golf shoes until they start to wear then I will use them for hiking.

These are a lot more comfortable than I expected. The lacing system works really well and they keep the water out. Traction is really good.

My Salomon journey began with Quest boots. Then XA Pro. Then Alpha Cross. Then Speed Cross GTX. Then XT4 Lab. The Supercross blast is more comfortable than the Speedcross. I am a Golf Professional. I spend 35-45 hours a week on wet turf. My only issue with these shoes was the deterioration after ten months. To be fair, I would have gladly spent double on these for double the amount of time. Salomon is as good as it gets on customer support. Staying dry: 5/5 Comfort: 5/5 Sturdiness: 4/5 Durability over 1,500 miles: 3/5 I implore Salomon to promote their product in Golf Shops. And I hope they will increase prices and invest into quality control.

Speedcrosses have been my go-to shoe for years, even as they have changed, but my size was unavailable in the GTX so Supercrosses it was. Mine have held up nicely in the four months I've had them, but they haven't been on highly technical, extremely rough trails. The shoe looks great, easy off-and-on with the laces loose, and cushioning is good -in fact, when mine were new and spotless, they were the only shoe I took on an airline trip. The non-Gore version would make a great lifestyle sneaker. Drawbacks/gripes: I greatly prefer a lace garage to the little elastic keeper and a pull loop on the heel to the tab.

Good overall trail running shoes, but not as durable as you would expect. Bought them at the end of January, started to use in February and by the end of September started to notice the textile fabric tearing, despite the fact that they were used mainly for hiking about 2 times a week. Also the sole tends to get extremely slippery on wet, especially on the rocks/steps or any hard surface. On the other hand happy with their waterproofness and gripness on slightly softer surfaces. Also the sole profile seems quite resistant to wear. Overall comfortable shoes at a decent weight, deserving 3.5 stars in my opinion.

I bought a pair of the previous version of this shoe and whilst they wear comfortable and looked good were not very hard wearing. Within approximately 9 - 10months use they had big holes in them making them unwearable.

Hate that the laces end runs through a small piece of elastic. Not secure at all, flap all over the place and come loose. Help!

Beautiful shoe with great lugs for traction. They worked fairly well while running in the ice and snow and kept my feet dry. The problem is with the lacing system. I could not get a good lock down and one of the shoes was causing the top part of my foot to hurt and bruise.

I thought being Goretex GTX they would be warm in the cold UK weather.... but my feet freeze in them. My old Speedcross 4's were perfect but these aren't so good. sorry salomon

Didn't take long to wreck these shoes and the other speed cross versions I have bought. within 100 miles lugs were worn or missing. Not a single pair will last more than 300 miles and I have purchased 4 pairs in the last few years. These are not for training on aggressive terrain. I wish Salomon would use better, more durable materials. I would only buy these to race or wear around to look cool because they are really nice looking...but not after I run in them!

I picked up this shoe for trail running. Went on a quick 5k hike to break it in. I noticed that the shoe has water marks on the fabric. I realized it's the sweat from my foot seeping in. The shoe is not breathable at all. This does not happen to my XA 3D at all.

It is my displeasure to inform you that today is a day of mourning. The Supercross GTX Trailrunning Shoe is dead. I have always been searching for the perfect shoes. Something i can wear on the trail. Around the city. Something comfortable in every situation. A shoe that will protect my feet and keep them happy. I have taken them to ten different countries and they have always faithfully stood by me (or on me) and for that I have always been faithful to them. I have never been with another shoe since the day I worn them for the first time. The first time i met this shoe i knew i was in love. I finally found it! The one shoe to rule them all! My search was finally over! No more traveling with 3 pairs of shoes! No more wet feet! No more blisters! No more tying and retieing! No more worries... I have worn this shoe every day to work. To every trail. On mount ranier and to Mount Bukhansan. When a dog ate my shoe in Kuala Lumpur I immediately searched every store in the city until i found a new pair. To me there was no choice. There is only one shoe for me. Which is why when I saw a tear in my shoes last week i immediately sought another pair. But woe is me. I could not find one. The shoe was "updated" its now called the supercross "blast." I thought it looked a bit weird at first but thats ok. I was willing to give my beloved shoes a second chance but alas. It could never be the same. Every step i took in these "updated" shoes i felt a pain in my foot. Every step reminded me of my shoes sitting in my closet with the tear. The shoes I have done so much with and that have been by my side for years. Just saying this now i cant stop the stream of tears running down my face. I have searched every site. Called every store! But my shoes... They're gone. Gone... To my beloved shoes. Im so sorry for what they have done to you. I miss you terribly and i want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I love you. May you rest in peace.
