Initially only found the black color in stock but I was so happy with the look and feel that I knew I had to get the tan as well! They’re super comfortable, warm and cozy, and definitely TRUE TO SIZE. You need to know your Sorel size which can be tricky- I’m a 9.5/10 in other brands, sometimes a 9 if they run big. In Sorel boots, a 9.5 always fits perfectly with some room and these are no different. Not sure about the other reviews claiming you must size up - maybe they’re not familiar with Sorel sizing. I’ve seen sites that only sell whole sizes, so if you’re between sizes and lean mostly towards the larger, I’d size up. Even if they’re roomy you can make up for it with thick socks.

Wow! I live in Montana with all the winter elements. And these are the most comfortable Sorel boots I have ever owned. Super light & warm. Good traction. These boots were sold out everywhere. I got lucky because somebody returned a pair and I immediately jumped on them. I hope Sorel makes more!

I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thick socks with these, but they fit perfectly with thin athletic socks, which is fine because these boots are cozy and a lot more insulated than I expected. I don’t think I’ll have to wear thick socks with them even in much colder weather. These boots are very comfortable, hiked in them almost immediately and had no issue with blisters or sore feet. The design is great, really happy with how they look. They’re also lightweight and have good flexibility even with the chunky sole. Definitely recommend these, just order a half size up!

I LOVE these booties! They’re super warm and lightweight. I usually wear a 10 and a 10.5 fit me perfectly in these. I actually bought these in the tan and the black not knowing which I’d like better. I’m keeping the tan but HATE these bright orange laces. Like… WHY?!?! The laces on the black shoe would’ve looked great on both colors. Other than that, I’ve no complaint!

I am always an 8 in Sorels. There is a bit more room in these than others, but that allows for a thicker sock. I wore these on a 5 mile the first day I got them. So comfortable! Great for outdoor walks.

I bought these to wear in colder weather for walking/short hikes, errands, etc. Upon initially putting them on, they felt great (they are a little bulky in looks). I have high arches, and regular width feet, but after walking 1-2 miles in them my pinky toes were rubbing against the sides of the boot, and my toes were scrunched = painful blisters. The toe box is really tight! Sorel is so inconsistent with their sizing. I am torn because otherwise, they are very comfortable and no back, heel, or arch pain when walking long distances for me, which is rare. Because they are leather, I am hoping they will stretch a bit so I can keep wearing them; otherwise, I may need to send them back :( also, I normally wear a size 5 and purchased the size 5, and they fit great length-wise with some room to spare, but toe box is the stickler (too narrow/tight). May be best suited for people with narrow feet.

These are exactly what I was looking for - a winter boot that is light enough to go on long walks but warm enough to be comfortable in a Wisconsin winter. I have some other warmer snow boots but they are too heavy for long walks, so these were a great addition to the winter rotation. You can also wear them running errands and look a little more put together.

Bought these with the intention of wearing for snowy walks. Tested these in warmer weather and they were great, feels like wearing tennis shoes. My first outing was a 3 mile dog walk and I wore ankle socks (oops) so they rubbed and caused blistering on the back of one exposed upper ankle area. But that was my fault, definitely need to wear tall socks. Finally got them out on a snowy walk this week for another 3 miles (wore talk socks!) and they were great. Feet stayed dry and warm, very comfy

Loved these boots but had to return. Comfy, TTS, and nice and warm! However the top of these boots came up to an unflattering part above my ankle that cut my foot off and made my legs look like short stumps lol. At 5’4” I’m trying to elongate my legs rather than make them look shorter so I was super sad to send these back. I think these look best on longer legs. I ended up with the sorel out and about wedge instead which I’m super happy with though.

Best purchase ever! Took these to Colorado and the grip, comfort, and warmth on them was phenomenal. It was mid October when snow had just covered some of the trails and higher elevation lakes were frozen. My husband (who is a tactical gear guru), was using ice spikes with his hiking boots, and still slipping some, and I had no issues… no ice spikes either!! ? So the shoes don’t just look fierce/grippy… they ARE! On sizing, I’m a true 10 and went with 10.5 per reviews. It was the right call.

Bought these in green because I adored the brown ones I purchased so much. I usually wear a 6.5 in sorel and purchased a 7. They fit perfectly. So comfortable, stylish and functional for MN winters!

Fit was true to size, very comfortable, great for walking

I almost always need a half size up in Sorel and these were no different. I am an 8 about 90% of the time and sometimes a 7.5 about 10% of the time and the 8.5 fit great with normal socks. They are a little clunkier than expected and lacing them up can be kind of a pain.

These boots are comfortable and warm, BUT they are NOT for slippery surfaces such as ice or even packed snow. They do not have enough traction for icy conditions. Very dangerous. They're okay for soft, powdery snow.

I love these boots! I can safely wear them in the snow and my feet stay warm and dry, and they are comfortable and cute. I typically wear a size 10 but based on other reviews sized up to a 10 1/2 and am glad I did. They fit perfectly with a pair of socks. Buy them, you won't be disappointed!

Normally wear a size 8 in sandals, 8.5 in sneakers and boots. I got a 9 in these since Sorel tend to run small. The 9 fit perfectly. Grey is a really nice color and they were very warm and comfortable in 20 degree weather.

I absolutely love these hiking boots (waterproof). They fit perfect and we’re comfortable right out of the box. I returned them because I was looking for a boot I could wear more with skirts too. If not for that I would have bought these. They are worth the money.
