Our daughter needed a new winter jacket & we were also going to New York for Christmas. We purchased this one because it featured Omni-Heat & also was insulated for an extra later. It arrived in time for Christmas & our trip & she loved it. The jacket is true to size, the color was exactly what she wanted & it kept her warm the entire time. As well as when we returned home & temps were colder than usual. We recommend this jacket & all of the other Columbia products for their quality & performance.

Great winter and ski jacket. The only change I would recommend is making pockets the pockets zippered instead of having just a single button. It makes it too easy for items put in the pockets to fall out. There is one zipper pocket on the sleeve, though, which is a nice feature. My daughter was plenty warm when she wore this skiing. It was a sunny day with a high of 30 degrees on the mountain.

Colors are better in person than the picture. Regarding the fit, the arms are a bit long and the torso is average. My daughter will be able to wear the same coat next year bc the arms are long enough but it might come up a little short on the waist. Overall we are happy with the coat. I took the fur off because my daughter rolls in mud and mulch on a daily basis. The fur was easy to remove.
