I really like the Adrenaline GTS and I'm glad they are made in wides, however, the color choices SUCK, especially for wide options! How many negative reviews does Brooks need on colors before you wake up to what your customers want?

I’ve been running in Adrenaline’s since the 13’s. That model felt amazing and I’ve bought every model since then. A few models were better than others. I was very hopeful for these, but they’re not the best and I’m already looking for a new alternate pair of running shoes. I love that these come in wide widths, but they seem to pick the ugliest colors for the wide widths and this year is no exception.

I've been running (though I wouldn't call it that now) the last 45 of my 71 years. Needless to say, I've had a variety of shoe brands over that time, some better than others, to be sure. Until about 10 years ago, I wore New Balance almost exclusively--after I discovered them. Since then, it's been mostly ASICS and Brooks, as long as the shoe fell within the Stability category. Until my purchase of the GTS 21, I switched between the Kayano and the Adrenaline for my runs, but realized something about the Adrenaline that was not true of the Kayano: I could feel "feel the ground" as I made my way. Perhaps that falls within the category of Responsive. With the Kayano, I had no such sensation, as if the purpose of that shoe was to disguise the sensation of movement and contact--plus the arch-support on it tends to be a bit too emphatic for my feet. My late-in-life epiphany was this: as long as I can "run," I want Adrenaline on my feet. The 21 is a step up in terms of swaddling the foot, relative to the 19s, but the support is exactly what I want and the feel just superb. Let me also add that I generally order a half-size up with my running shoes, as that fit always seems to work with the shoe brands I've purchased.

I have had the GTS 18, GTS 20 and loved them. I purchased the GTS 21 and they have been awful because the toe box is more flexible so it presses down agaijst my toes. There's a weird indentation that causes the toe box to rub against my toes. It's awful. I returned my first pair thinking it was a mistake and the next pair fit the same way. Going to be going with another pair of GTS 20s.

I've been wearing Asics Gel-Kayano's for years.......this is my first pair of Adrenaline GTS 21's. They're perfect...... I'm very pleased. I'm not a runner, but am a serious walker and the Adrenaline GTS is simply superior to the Asics.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and fit my 12 EE feet perfectly. While I do like the look of shoe, I wish all the colors were available at bigger sizes.

Let me start by saying I am not a runner per se but I own at least thirty pairs of brooks which are worn daily for extended walking, clay court tennis and just daily general use. I should also note that these shoes were sent to me by brooks free of charge in exchange for writing a review. I should also note that I am seventy two years of age. All that said, I find the new brooks GTS21 to be a fine addition to the brooks running stable. for me personally, every pair of brooks seem to have been made for my foot. the saying "fits like a glove would come into play here only they fit like a foot glove. Two key elements jump out on these shoes for me. One is the ankle stability. when the laces are tight, the foot feels locked in place with little chance of turninig your ankle. the second is the cushioning in the heel probably more important to a walker than a runner but was instantly recognizable. I would clearly buy a pair of these especially a limited edition model which makes up the bulk of my brooks shoe collection

I used the manufactures site to decide on what model of shoe to buy. I have bad knees and have to be careful with shoe picks. The ghost model was a much better fit. Too bad I’m stuck with these now. They do not have a walking on clouds feel as described on manufacture site. Very uncomfortable footbed. Probably the worst shoe I’ve ever put on. Very stylish, it’s only saving grace in my opinion.

Fit and size were perfect. However, after only walking around in them for a short period, a crease developed in the right shoe's toe, which was very uncomfortable. If I had to guess, the adhesive between the outer and inner layer failed (or wasn't there), causing the crease. It pops out (or in, rather) every time any weight went to the front of the foot. Otherwise, the shoe is great (did not get a chance to run in them though). I'd try them again. Hopefully this was a one-time manufacturing defect.

To be fair, I haven't been able to try a pair of these yet. These are the only shoe's that seem to help with my PF. I am going to say that I'm not a fan of not having the standard blue and grey version in width 4E. They have been available every year, for at least the last 6-7 years that I have been wearing Adrenaline's. The black and white is ok, but you already have an black version in 4E. Why would you further limit color patterns for people who have wide feet, by discontinuing other models? I'm hoping you guys are adding the 4E blue/grey pattern later for this model. If so, it would be awesome to see a response of some sort.

I have run in Brooks shoes since I started running marathons six years ago. I have run in both Adrenaline and Glycerin models. I go for support and comfort. I recently received a pair of Adrenaline GTS 21's from Brooks for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I find the GTS 21 to be similar to earlier Adrenaline models. It is very comfortable and I feel stable running in them. They feel less "cushy" than Glycerins. Adrenalines lead to a more "grounded" feel for me. Whether I choose to run in Adrenaline or Glycerin, I appreciate the fine quality that Brooks has provided for my six years of running-ten total marathons including three Bostons-thanks for the support and comfort! I'll be wearing Brooks as my running journey continues.

Knew immediately upon taking out of box the shoes wouldn’t work . The insole wasn’t as soft . The discomfort was immediately felt at base of all toes . The drop in the shoe box is much larger than the GTS 20. Maybe this pair was simply defective ? Who knows. I have a history of fractures in 5 areas of the foot plus a torn Achilles from 15 years ago . Very careful with shoes and want to continue pain free. These shoes did not allow. Removed from feet within 60 seconds . Sore for a few minutes afterwards. The Zappos team is great at assisting with shipping issues too. That’s never a problem. Thanks

Have been wearing and running in Adrenaline’s for several years. This shoe feels best by far to me. The toe box is very comfortable. I have always worn 10.5, but went with 10 in the 21 model. The sole appears to be wearing better than the previous 19 and 20 models. Overall, very happy with the shoe.

The shoes look and felt great, but I had to return them because of the awkward way the left one bent on the big toe, it pressed on my nail, cause, and noticeable discomfort. A shame, because the shoes are solid nice comfortable shoes (on my right foot).

These are my 23 yr. old sons favorite shoes. I buy them year after year because he likes them so much. Wish Brooks would have more color choices in the wide width.

I have enjoyed probably close to a dozen Brooks running shoes including Adrenaline 19 and 20, however, this pair of GTS 21 has too much arch or something in my right shoe. It is on the inside and is so hard I am not sure I can use them very much. I keep hoping that they will soften up after onw week of use. It seems as though I read that this shoe has guardrails. If so maybe that is what is my problem. I love a very good cushion like the Ghost. What so you suggest I do?

This is my third pair of Brooks Adrenaline sneakers. I'm not a runner, but for years I stood on a concrete floor all day for five days a week. And I walk a moderate amount every day. These sneakers make my feet feel great in both.

Outstanding for flat-footed runners. If there was a flat foot scale one through 10 and 10 being the highest I would rate at 15.

I’ve been buying this shoe since 1999. Excellent all around running shoe. I’m a weekend warrior now but I have run everything from marathons and triathlons to fun runs in these and I’ve always been super comfortable in them. No blisters, aggravated knees/joints, etc.

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 fit great, very comfortable and more important the arch support was great. The fabric is soft yet strong and the style is cool. I really like these sneakers and the Zappos's service. The shipping during this time of year, 15 days before Christmas, was fast. 2 days from order to delivery.

This is my 2nd set of Brooks Adrenaline shoes after switching from ASICS. I have wide feet so finding comfortable running shoes is difficult. I loved my Adrenaline 19's but I think the 21 is even more comfortable. Excellent cushioning and a perfect fit. I might get a 2nd pair just in case they change it with the next version.

This is the best looking, supportive, agile, comfortable, stable, and well cushioned Adrenaline, yet. You have a winning formula for this pair, don't screw it up, Brooks. Gonna cop a second pair of the all White color way, looks great.

I usually run/walk in the Ghost 13 and I absolutely love that shoe. That said there are times when I need a shoe with a little more stability and the Adrenaline 21 fits the bill perfectly. The guide rails work perfectly for me when I them. The upper is more roomy than the Ghost and is incredibly comfortable. The toe box is perfect and I love the mesh in the upper. The padding in the heel and tongue is spot on. This shoe is so comfortable you can wear it all day. The Ghost 13 and the Adrenaline 21 are definitely the two best running shoes for me. I love these shoes!
