I'm a loyal Ghost fan (have worn and loved the 11 and 12), but the Ghost 13 is awful. Feels VERY different than the 12, and actually a bit painful on the heel. I ordered the same size I have always worn with he Ghost line (11 2E), but these just don't feel right. I thought maybe they would break in and feel better after a few outings, but they just don't. Too tight, and there's a hard/sharp point on the back that really digs into the back of the heel. Very disappointed with the Ghost 13. Too late to return them to Zappos, so these are going in the donation bin at Goodwill. If you love your Ghost 12......beware of the Ghost 13!

Failed running shoes for me include Asics, New Balance, and Saucony; and the best running shoes I've had in years is the Brooks Ghost 13--even better than earlier Ghost models. These are cushioned stability shoes with excellent motion control. The cushioning is excellent, firm but shock absorbing material. I supinate, and this model Ghost provides exceptional motion control and allows for proper heal plant. If you've been looking for a damned good neutral running shoe with pluses in cushioning, stability, motion control, and flex (forgot to mention this earlier), this is the shoe. I may have to get another pair or two and keep them in reserve. The toe box is ample, no tight fit here, yet not voluminous like some of NB's shoes. I've tried and returned numerous pairs of running shoes--and of all those many running shoes that were purchased and returned, the Brooks Ghost 13 has found a home.

I was a huge fan of the Ghost 11s. So much so, when Ghost 12 came out and toe box was smaller than usual (I'm already wearing 4E), I ordered 6 pairs of Ghost 11 to carry me through until Ghost 13 came out in about a year. I go through sneakers about every 3-4 months, but during the pandemic and running outside exclusively, I was going through sneakers every 6 weeks (about 400 miles). So I ordered the Ghost 13 as soon as they came out and I realized they run a little small. Took me a few weeks to notice, as I was so focused on them fixing the toe box from Ghost 12s. I recently purchased size 11 instead of 10.5, and they fit just like my Ghost 11s (size 10.5). I even put them side-by-side, and noticed Ghost 13 (size 11) is same as Ghost 11 (size 10.5). Otherwise, Ghost 13 seems to be on par with Ghost 11s in terms of quality/comfort. I wear New Balance 3810 insoles. I also noticed a funny wear spot on Ghost 13 (size 10.5) - picture below - on both left and right top rear. Not sure if because slightly smaller, but never had that happen on any other sneakers. We will see what happens with size 11. I also put a picture of Ghost 11 (blue/grey) vs Ghost 13 (size 11-black) vs Ghost 13 (size 10.5). Only other wish list item if Brooks is listening, would love more than 2 colors (black and 1 other) available in 4E width (goes back as long as I have been wearing Ghosts).

LET'S GET REAL LIKE SULLENBERGER! These shoes are made of glue, paper and plastic. Gone are the days of stitching and leather. ALL Zappos products are made in you know where and sold to us at high prices. They make us think our opinions matter; they don't. Shame on you guys and gals; we made you rich and you won't even sell us a decent pair of shoes.

As soon as I put these shoes on my feet I knew instantly they were what I needed. I work in an office and my feet hurt every day and I buy expensive shoes for comfort. I can wear these shoes all day walking, hiking, and whatever else and my feet don't hurt. I wish I could wear them to work. I also live in Texas and the heat is a problem. These shoes allow me to go all day without my feet sweating out.

I've been buying Brooks for the past 5-7 years since they're one of the only manufacturers that makes shoes in a narrow width. All has been good until the last pair I bought, which rubbed my Achille's until I bled. After taking a week off, I wore a Band-aid, and after several weeks, they were broken in. I thought that pair was an anomaly until I bought these. Same exact thing... first time wearing them I got a busted blister after only going 3 miles, and this is while wearing a variety of short socks (not no-show) so I had fabric between me and the shoe. I've now worn them about 10 times with a Band-aid, and they're not getting better. While they probably will eventually, I'm taking advantage of the Runlimited gurarantee and returning them. I HATE to do this since I love the styling and, as a narrow, my options outside of Brooks are really just limited to NB. I feel like Brooks may have changed the material around the heel about 18 mos ago. Hopefully they can make the adjustment and I can return to Brooks.

The Ghost 12s were one of my all-time favorite shoes. They fit me perfectly, had a very comfortable level of cushion, and wore evenly despite my natural pronation. In October I bought a pair of Ghost 13s. They felt a little more snug, but seemed ok at first. Then I noticed the top back of the shoe kept rubbing again my heel. It would give me blisters if the edge of my sock fell below the back collar. And after less than 200 miles, the fabric on BOTH heels have worn through to harder material underneath. I've included pictures to show this, and I see that at least one other customer appears to have had the exact same problem. I went back and bought two more pairs of Ghost 12s before they disappear from all the stores.

It fits like previous ghost by brooks. I like the light gray color. very comfortable. zippo service is second to none. I would not purchase shoes from any other company these folks are the best

Really nice shoe but it was supposed to be a wide width. I could tell by looking at them they were narrow. When my husband tried them on they squeezed his foot so much that he couldn’t walk comfortably. Definitely not an EE width.

Ordered these for my 90 year old father. 5 months ago he started a new walking program of 15-20 minutes a day, either outside or on a treadmill. Who knows how long he has had the old clunky sneakers he was wearing! My husband and I both have Brooks Ghosts and love them. Knowing the Brooks typically run small, I initially ordered an 11 medium for my father for Christmas. (He typically wears a 10-10.5) W. The 11s were a little snug. Reordered an 11.5 Wide and he says they fit perfectly. He loves them. 86 year old mother got a pair as well!

Product A big disappointment. extremely uncomfortable. Support and cushioning not up to Brooks previous standards.

Well made. However, uncomfortable for hard surface (pavement, concrete) running. Not enough mid-sole foam and overall too little support

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The is spot-on, and I love the camouflage design and material. The entire pair feels like it weighs less than 1 ASICS or NB shoe. I am waterproofing them and hope that they will have a long life.

My husband loves these shoes! He is extremely picky about his shoes being comfortable, and spends a lot of time on his feet. He really loves the cushion of these shoes, and that they’re so lightweight. I have a pair for myself as well, and I love mine too. The only snag was that the medium width was too narrow for his foot, so I exchanged it for a wide. Zappos has such wonderful customer service, and the exchange was super easy.

Very good for walking.

I first discovered Brooks when I ordered the Ghost 11. I bought three pairs and wore them to pieces. I have a very wide foot (4E), have a high arch, and I am a heel striker, so they were perfect for me. I am not a runner but I walk all day at my job and a mile each way for my commute. When the Ghost 11's wore out, I ordered Ghost 12 but they were too narrow - I could not get my foot into the sneaker. I thought I would never wear Brooks again. Last week I took a chance and ordered a pair of Ghost 13. They fit perfectly out of the box,I immediately wore them to work and I had NO breaking in problems. After three days, I ordered 4 more pairs. I am going to alternate 3 pairs and store the other 2 pairs. I would like to thank whoever at Brooks realized that they had alienated the market for their wide sneakers and decided to make Ghost 13 similar to Ghost 11. I had bought 2 pairs of Asics Nimbus but they did not fit as well or feel as comfortable as the Brooks Ghost 11 or 13. New Balance lacks the support and cushioning that I need. Brooks should keep the Ghost with the true wide width options and add some more colors - I would have liked blue, grey, blue or green trim on black.

I originally ordered a size 13 D but it was a little small for me. Some of my other running shoes are 12D's so the Brroks Ghost may run a little small. I exchanged the 13D for a 13 Wide and it fits perfect. I love these shoes. They feel very lightweight but support my feet really well. I ordered the White/Grey/Deep Cobalt and love the way they look.

Wonderful sneaker. I walk 75 miles a month and they are pretty warn down now at 4 months (300 miles) But I have also used them 5 days a week for 8 hours walking around at work (on concrete floors) so that probably equates to another 150 miles in 4 months. I'll squeeze another 200 miles out of them for a total of 650-700 miles of incredible comfort and support. Fair deal for $130.

I give the shoes a high mark. I switched from another brand because I like Warren Buffet and his company owns Brooks.The shoes were a little stiff at first which, added to my high arch, took a little adjusting. After that they are very comfortable.

Absolutely the best shoe I have ever owned (and I am over 80)....

I was actually worried after reading the reviews that said they ran small but im a female who buys running shoes in men because the toe area is wider and they fit perfect. Brooks is now my goto running shoe. I usually get Asics Cumulus but ive been disappointed with their last few releases. Their toe area actually runs small in the most recent release. So Brooks Ghost it is.

This was the fourth pair of Brooks I've purchased. ALWAYS feel great. SUPER comfortable. Have to buy 1/2 - 1 size larger than other shoes though.
