Very disappointed with this new release of the Brooks Revel4. I had purchased the first gen Revel years ago and have basically worn them to death. Was excited to replace them but sadly disappointed in the decreased quality of this newer version. Now, the insole/cushion support seems to be on par with other Brooks shoes and they are very true to size, but the upper materials seemed very cheap, thin yet stiff, and the laces felt like they’d fall apart with little use. Even looking at them, they seem cheap. I know these are a lower price point compared to other Brooks running shoes, but I just couldn’t justify the $100 tag when they looked and felt like $30 shoe material. Big downgrade in quality from previous Revel versions. I purchased the new Ghost 13 also and will be keeping those.

these sneakers were cheaply made with no support, the quality has declined since I purchased my last pair. I returned them.

The top of the shoe was very loose, with what looked like extra material toward the outer side.

I work 12 hour shifts, on my feet through the shift. Swore by Brooks up until now. Everything right down to the shoe laces are cheaper quality. By the end of my shift I could barely walk my feet hurt so bad. I am wearing my old Brooks revel 3 rotating pairs until I can find a new shoe. To much money for a crap shoe

The tread separated from the shoe after minimal wear. Would not purchase again. Brooks are comfortable, but they don’t last as long as other shoes

Loved the style and brooks reputation but these shoes offer very little support. They fell apart within 15 miles of use.

revel 4 brooks is very uncomfortable to walk with. i wish i had returned, but is too late.

No mention in the description anywhere that the fabric is GLITTER! Ugh.

I'm a big fan of Brooks and loved the Revel 3 model. While Revel 4 is true to size and fits just fine, it's otherwise an absolute DUD! There is no more cushion in these than in the pair I just retired. I'm not a runner--just a treadmill and outdoor walker, so if they don't work for me, I can't imagine who would find them satisfactory. What a disappointment. Come on, Brooks, you can and should do better by your customers!

So, the Paloma / White color is literally covered in glitter
