This is my second pair of Bedlam. Generation 3 is an epic fail. They were too narrow, too short, too difficult to put on because of the way the laces worked making the instep too small; the tongue was stitched half way closed making it even more difficult to put on, and the tongue has no cushioning. The shoe overall had no cushioning what so ever, and just made my feet ache all over. The only good thing I can say about generation 3 is they are a great looking shoe, and the stability is amazing. My feet did not pronate at all. The first generation of Bedlam was the most incredible shoe I've ever owned and I am so disappointed that the changes they made to this shoe made it impossible for me to wear.

Give women some other options for shoe colors. Seriously? Must I vomit in my mouth every season at the grotesque pastel options?

I rarely review products as I am just an amateur runner putting in an average of 20 enjoyable miles a week. I started to experience ITBS with harsh outer knee pain after 2 miles a month ago. So with PT and a program change, I decided to give Brooks a try (I typically wear Nike, pegasus and react flyknit). These are a nice change of pace, as they are less cushion-y and have nice support with the guardrails. I'm hoping my knee pain subsides. Its still there, nagging, definitely a little better. I think the Nike's I was running in were too cushiony and didn't provide enough support for me. Anway! I do love how these feel, a little more connection to the ground under my feet but not too flat. I wear 7.5 in Nike and ordered an 8 in these as I heard they run a little narrow, but the 8 fits nice! I've but in 40 miles so far in them and so far so good, no complaints at all. Comfy cozy and energizing! Very breathable. And I think they are the nicest looking Brooks as well.

I never knew a shoe could work miracles. What I thought was just par for the course knee discomforts are totally gone! I would wear these every day if work would allow!

The shoe was definitely lighter which I liked but the heel of the shoe felt like it was clamping onto my heel, hopefully once I break them in they will feel looser. Disappointed in the color selection available in this shoe, wish I could have still gotten a Bedlam 2 in my size.

This shoe is my new favorite. I have worn the adrenaline gts in the past, but the new guiderails feel less supportive than previous versions. The bedlam was the perfect alternative with somehow more supportive guide rails. It's like they support the whole foot, not just the arch. Glad I gave them a try!

I have feet that are difficult to fit (bony, flexible high arches, low volume but not a narrow width). Most shoes that are the right length have too much toe room and empty space, leading to sliding, sloppy running, and debilitating foot, ankle, and knee pain. After dozens of shoe and insert combinations, Bedlam 3's sock-like upper and lower-cut tongue/collar were perfect. Extremely disappointed that this shoe is being discontinued and being replaced with the Levitate, whose higher cut looks like a chafing nightmare. If it's not broken, don't fix it!

The arch was too high and the tongue area was too small. It was not easy for me to slip this shoe on and off. I am 78 years old. Ease and comfort are paramount. The shoe was very attractive but the laces were not what I wanted. The shoe was a little hard for me to slip on and off so I returned it.

Great arch support and knee support, hugs around ankle nicely but still very stylish!

These were bought as a gift for a nurse who is on her feet , on hard floors, for shifts of 12 hours at a time. She says they feel great and her feet are thankful.

I loved the look of this shoes but it was very uncomfortable to wear. The arch support was not great and after walking for approximately 30 minutes my feet were tired and hurting. I was very disappointed as my last pair of bedlam by Brooks we’re perfect.

The heal of the shoe has a hard plastic band around it that digs into my heal. I even tried a larger size and it did the same thing. I used to love the bedlam shoe but not this new design

I love these shoes. I tore my achilles a couple years ago and these shoes are the way to go. I came on here looking to buy them again because I love them so much, but they are sold out! So comfortable and make my feet feel great. I run 5k-10k in them.

Good shoes overall. Comfortable and stability within the shoe, but light enough for speed.

I was a Glycerin for years and switched over to Bedlam - I LOVE THESE SHOES. They are great for running, lifting weights, everyday wear and they don't give up as fast as my everyday wear of Glycerin.

These sneakers are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. Ive bought 2 pairs and considering a third. I have slightly wide feet and they fit like a glove. Perfection! Please do not discontinue this sneaker!

This is the second pair of bedlams I've bought and this is my favorite shoe to run in. They are supportive enough so I can wear them on long mileage days and also feel light enough that I can wear them for a tempo workout and not feel weighed down. They held up for me for over 400 miles and they are super comfortable. Would definitely recommend especially for someone who wants something a little more supportive than the levitates. I'm so upset that brooks discontinued these

Typically I don't leave reviews, this is a MUST!!! I was a huge fan of Brooks Ghost shoe till the 11. My feet are extremely sensitive, I often have pain in most shoes in my left foot in the arch area. I need my foot to be supported, not sliding. Often people like the shoe to have a lot of room in the toe box for running, that is not the case for myself. I require more support to hold my foot in place. It took a long time to find something comparable, a sales woman from Dick's turned me on to these. They are snug at first, once broken in they are perfect for running or lifting. I don't need to replace the liner in this shoe as I normally would in all my others with Superfeet insoles, medium arch. You will not have the same cushion as the ghost however, this is equally as good, different feel. I wear a true 8 and borderline wide, could go either way according to Fleet Feet impression taken. If this helps for someone trying to guess their size online. I'm ordering my 2nd pair now. Good luck!

I have very flat feet, and walking on the treadmill/running was difficult long term for me. These shoes have made a significant difference in this and I am running up to six miles a day with no foot pain at all. Best shoes I ever purchased!
