I have high arches, and this means that my foot is higher in the shoe. And the top tongue area of the shoe is not flexible and is tight! I loved Brooks pureflow they were perfect because of the nice flexibility in the top of the shoe and the way it hugged the back of my heel. Many times if the shoe is tall enough it has a massive gap at the back of my heel/ankle. These were a total disappointment. I wish Brooks would bring back their PureFlow!

This shoe is not the Levitate 2. There is no support or comfort. The insole is a flat piece of cloth enough to cover the stitches inside the shoe itself, but renders nothing in terms of cushion. The foot hits the ground hard with every step. I am disappointed in the design changes. Bought some expensive insoles; maybe that will help. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5. With the Brooks brand I wear a 10. I hope Brooks puts some quality back into its running shoes.

I loved the style and look of the shoe. Hated the sewn in tongue. Made the shoe tight. Was difficult to put on and hard to adjust the tongue for comfort. Have to return!

I will start by saying I owned 4 pairs of the Levitate 2's and LOVED them. Trained for 10 milers and halves in the 2's, no problem. Bootcamp, HIIT classes, weightlifting, all no problem and no injuries. The new version "fits" my foot nicely but the cushioning is non existent. I have narrow heels and the rest of my foot is pretty normal. There is no "spring" or bounce to this version. I can actually feel the road under the ball of my feet (as well as a weird wad in the sole). The impact is increased and I feel like my body is taking a beating! Walking is fine but this is supposed to be a running shoe.

These are very cute shoes, but the sock fit is not great for me. I wouldn't buy this style again. I wish I had returned these and gotten a more comfortable pair.

I have a few pair of Brooks that I love. This one though was a bad fit for me. I have a very high arch, size 6.5 with a fairly narrow foot and could barely get into these, even with the laces fully loosened up. I think if I had pulled the laces out completely I would have still had trouble. Odd design with strange fabric.

Wishing the shoes opened up further for slipping into.

These are cute, but I don't think they are as comfy or great for my feet as the Ricochet line. I should have stuck with what I know.

I am not sure why you did this but there is a plastic piece that goes across the heel in the back of the shoe. It is causing some discomfort. also I think the toe area is narrower than before. I loved my last levitates I wish you would not of changed them.

Yikes! I bought multiple pairs of the Brooks Levitate 2, the best running shoe I have ever worn. But, I am down to my last pair. I ordered the Levitate 4 and unfortunately, they are much tighter all over than the Levitate 2, so I returned them. I only walked a few steps in my house and could tell they were not for me. My forefoot is normal/average width and my heel is somewhat narrow., so I was surprised at how tight the Levitate 4 is. I am now trying the Glycerin 19, but found that my usual size was a bit short, so I went up 1/2 size and they seem to fit well after 1 day. Time will tell if this remains to be true.

This shoe comes smaller in fit than the other styles much narrower. If you don't have narrow feet I would suggest going up in size or this shoe is not for you

I really like the look and weight of the shoe. My only issue is, on my left foot, the shoe is rubbing on my bone and causing some discomfort. I'm hoping this will go away as I break them in.

Looks very nice and is pretty light however too narrow for my wide feet... Even after going up a full size. Also rubs on the back of my heel. Not as comfortable as other Brooks I own.

Great shoe that seemed very supportive, but design of the tongue made it impossible to loosen it and was too tight at the arch of my foot - caused it to go numb after 1/4 mile. Can't size up anymore because then footbed would be too big.

This shoe is not like my first Levite 3 that I wore.the levitate 3 was a little thicker so had more padding on the ball of the foot this one levitate 4 seems to be thinned out and not as light of a shoe.

Great looking shoe! Snug in the heel, which is great for me! Not a fan of the tongue design, which makes it difficult to adjust. The width is a bit too snug for me. These breath really well though! Overall, a fairly average shoe.

Run small! I ordered an 8 (my typical shoe size) my toe was up against the end of the shoe.

I gave these a shot after falling in love with Ghost. I prefer Ghost - Levitate feels more restrictive and less comfortable. The laces don't stay tied as well as Ghost. I do have more spring in my step, and my pace has improved slightly, but it's not worth it for the tight feeling and snugger toe box.

Back heel digs in and causes blisters. Note the way the back of shoe angles in. Disappointed....

I own 3 pairs of brooks now and this is my least favorite. The toe is too narrow and this style fits tighter than others in the same size. The cushion of the shoe is great though. Maybe it's just me. Super cute on.

Loved the look of these shoes. Very stylish. Definitely has that "sock" feeling that is popular right now. But for me, they just feel a bit too roomy and too wide. I wear a 7 in normal shoes but like a 7.5 in athletic shoes. I have a moderate to high arrow and slightly narrow feet. I feel like my foot just has too much space to slide side to side in these, and the toe box just feels too wide to me. I In general, I've owned about 4-5 Brooks shoes in a row and have loved them but these Levitates just aren't it for me. I have been wearing the PureFlow 7 for over a year and LOVE LOVE those shoes. So sad Brooks discontinued them. I hate that!
