I tried 4 different styles of Saucony shoes before finding a fit in the Soucony Echelon 8 Wide. (I wear a 7-1/2 wide in another major brand of running shoe.) The Echelon 8 Wide is very comfortable with a lot of room in the toe box. Unfortunately, the white rim of the sole around the outside of the dark shoe makes the shoe look extra wide and clunky. The appearance could have been improved 200% by dying the sole (or, at least the outside of the sole) gray, as Saucony has done with other shoe styles in the past.

All my sneakers are Saucony. Great quality; but this particular style has a very wide toe box and soles that gives them a different look.

These are super comfy and fit well with orthopedics...but they are soy ugly it stops me from wearing them. If Saucony steps up their look game I'll be buying again. If not, Ill stick with my Hoka

This is a great shoe for someone who does NOT need arch support. Since I do, these will be going back. I will say that they are extremely comfy, and I'm sad it didn't work out.
I'd also recommend:

Bone crushing pain in toes and blisters after first try. Feet swimming around in them, and did nothing for support of supination. Not worth over $100, having to return. Desperate for shoes that I can walk comfortably for up to 3 miles in, with wide feet!

Didn't fully read structure of shoe. Thought it would have more leather, as my present Saucony's have. Won't be as warm during this winter. Good shoe otherwise.

I have worn Saucony shoes for years because I have a wide foot and Saucony has an excellent fit that is generally wide in the toe box but narrow enough on the heel that the shoe doesn't slip. The problem that I have encountered however is that there are a very limited number of styles available in the XXWide fit. Having worn the same shoe for (too) many years I wanted something different and perhaps more 'stylish' and opted to try a 'Wide' instead. I am honestly a bit disappointed because I didn't expect the shoe to be so much narrower than an extra-wide. The narrower size also seems to have impacted the arch which makes the shoe feel even tighter. As a result, after wearing the shoes for a few hours I start to get tingling and numbness in some toes. Disappointed, but recognize that this is the price I have paid for years, trying to get style when I have a wide foot with a relatively high arch.

This shoe is perfect for me but as others have said, the quality control is lacking. The first pair showed immediate wear in the material - holes in the baby toe area and tears in other areas. I ordered a second pair thinking that was a fluke. Unfortuately not, the second pair completely wore through the heals. I've worn other saucony styles with great success. Two pairs of Echelon have great comfort but poor quality and without explanation. Sharing a review in hopes that the saucony team will rectify the quality issue (and agree with another reviewer that the cost does not align with the quality and it's hard on the planet to keep replacing so frequently).

I usually buy 8.5, but the shoe size was larger than the other models, so it was too big for me. Not as pillow like as the other models that say "Power Run" and it felt rough around my ankles. Not comfy.

The cushion on the back heel does not stay in place it even wrinkles caused from putting the shoes on, causing extra friction and an uncomfortable fit.

This shoe is not good at all. I actually had to get back out my old shoes. I've waked many miles in these new shoes and they hurt my feet :( they are wide and I had exact same pair but regular and I'm not sure why that made a difference by there are so stiff. This is my first pair of I've been disappointed with and won't spend the money again.

I've been running in Echelons since they were made. They used to be really good. However, starting with the 8s, the quality isn't the same. The shoes her holes in the side, by the pinky toe. This never happened before. Saucony's solution is to put tape in the shoe. When shoes cost this much, you shouldn't need tape.

I was originally pleased with the comfort and the fit but firing my first wear, I looked down and saw my brightly colored sock showing through the upper toe box. I took shoe off and felt inside. There's a hole in the inside material at the toe box. They won't last.

These are made differently than my last pair and are not comfortable. They are supposed to be a wide width but are too narrow.

I've had these shoes maybe 6 months. At first I loved them because they are so comfortable. But I noticed this week that the material inside of the heel is all torn up. Normally, I would be annoyed that I paid this much money for a pair of defective shoes but would think it was a fluke. However, my husband bought the same style in the men's a couple of months ago, and his did the same thing! To the point that they were unwearable after a very short period of time. This makes me think this issue is a workmanship issue. To Saucony's credit, they sent my husband new shoes with a minimum of hassle, which I appreciate. Despite how comfortable these are, I won't buy Saucony shoes again. Shoes at this level of pricing should have a much higher quality standard.

Espadrilles
English will follow. My english is less good.
FRANAIS. Trs bonne fabrication extrieure.
ENGLISH. Very good outside fabrication. Nevertheless, at the opposite of marketing, they aren't really orthotic friendly. Why? Inside sole doesn't has a regular slop (from behind to front) as a floor of house or other building. Then, personal plantar orthosis is distort (disform) notably within like increased arch : pain for foot.

Not the same quality I am used to... or maybe the fit? When I walk it crunches at my big toe and ouch! I've tried tightening the laces, no luck. Loosening then. No luck... I've worn Saucony since I started running some 20+ years. I think I need to go into a store to try a new model...

The shoes are very comfortable but I am very disappointed that the inside of my right toe has already worn thru the mesh fabric and the left side is about to do the same. I think the shoes are a month old maybe. They are also wide fit so this shouldn't be happening.

The length of the shoe is fine. The width at the forefoot is OK, the midfoot is way too wide, and the heel is slightly wide but can be laced to pull the shoe tighter. The shoe has a very boat-like appearance because there is almost no taper at the midfoot. The sole has nice cushion but little arch support. If I hadn't already worn the shoes, I would return them.

I had finally found a pair of shoes that I wanted to be in all the time!! I wish I had bought 2 or 3 pairs last year. I've got foot and knee issues and the padding, comfort, footbed and fit were superb. I excitedly ordered my new pair and they definitely have
changed. The material isn't soft and padded
and they don't feel like the same shoe. The upper has changed so much.
Please change them back!!!! The old ones were the best shoes on the market...I recommended them to so many people! Even my PT office was wearing them.
