I have classic docs and these fit similarly. I am normally a 9.5 but wear a 9 in docs. They don’t take as long to wear in as normal docs - the leather is bendable if you get the stippled. I wore them all day for two days in a row - make sure you wear socks tall enough and they’ll be comfortable right away. Love these and wore them with jeans and with shorts.

Love the boots! Got so many compliments on them! The fit was perfect and true to size.

I haven’t owned docs since high school - I’m 40 now. I’m in love with these boots. The foot part is already comfy. The tops need to be broken in but that’s to be expected. I never spend $200 on a single pair of shoes but these are so worth it!!!

I just want to review these for the sizing. A lot of people will say to size down. As an 8.5-9 W, I would say that these boots in 8 were a little too short for me. The 9 felt a bit big, which is why I returned them for an 8, and I kept trying to make the 8 work but no matter what I did my foot would still lightly hit the front of the boot when I was walking. They felt fine just standing; walking was the issue. Now I wish I had kept the 9. Better to go a little too big than a little too small in shoes.

My overall rating is based on upon receipt of the docs I did not get it in the original packaging which isn't a big deal; however I had to scuff marks on the toe. I ended up keeping them b/c I waited to long to purchase and this style wasn't available in my size anywhere but here. It's just a bummer to pay for merchandise that arrives with a blemish. Contact customer service to express my concerns and all I got was a Sorry, no compensation for receiving a product, paying full price but came with defects. I lov Zappos and they have been excellent in the past and a great experience but not this time.

I just got home and found these waiting on my doorstep. I wear a size 10, and most shoes look big on me feet, not these babies!! They are so cute!!! I got my size, thankfully I did not go down a size like most reviewers said. I am used to wearing steel toe shoes for work, so I don’t find these too heavy, but someone else might. I’ll be rocking these with my maxi dresses, jeans, you name it. They are so stylish and just what I was looking for?. I might order a black pair too. I recommend getting softer insoles because the ones in the shoes are hard.

The only I would mention: checking the size fit confused me. I pick nike sport shoes 38-8 as comparison an i was suggested to get 8-39 in dr. Martens, but they were too big. Had to get 7-38. And this size fit just right

Let me start off by saying these are SO cute. Came with the shoelaces in you’ll have to lace the zippers in yourself. It’s going to run a little big but get your normal size because going a size down it was too small. Gives room to wear with thick socks. They don’t seem to be the most comfortable shoe but there’s plenty of room for inserts if needed. And they weren’t playing when they said “Next Day Shipping.” I ordered it in the afternoon and got it at 12pm the next day.

Gorgeous stylish boots. I read sooo many people on various sites recommending to size down. If you’re on the smaller side of a half size (7.5 but can sometimes wear a 7) maybe that’s true. But I’m usually between a women’s 7.5 - 8 and the size 8 fit exactly as expected with maybe a ~little extra room in the toe box (perfect for thick socks!). So far, no break in struggles, no discomfort. The rubber bottoms are kinda squeaky but I think that can be easily fixed. If you’re sitting on the fence about these boots i say go for it! ?

**Bury me in these boots.**. Listen, I’m a sneaker girl. Ok? I don’t do discomfort. I was obsessed with the style of these and after reading so many positive reviews, I took the plunge. I’m a Women’s size 8-9 depending on brand- 8-8.5 in Vans, 9 in Nike, 8.5 in Adidas. I got these in a size 8 and the fit is near perfect. I have a little bit of room, but I’ve only worn them with about medium thickness socks. Also, the bit of room I have doesn’t cause me discomfort. I just wore them for about an hour on a grocery trip and had no issues. I saw a lot of reviews mention heaviness, but they don’t seem particularly heavy to me unless I try to walk briskly. They have a little bit of cushion to them. The platform is easy to walk in. Not to mention the look of them… my goodness they are just gorgeous. I really enjoy the zipper look and ease of use. All around I’m just excited about these boots lol. I can see me wearing them with everything! Buy them.

I really like Dr Martens, but this pair was stiff , not comfortable , and a half size small. I wear 6.5 or 7. I ordered the 6 and it was to small so I got a 7 and it was to big. I was bummed this is such a cute boot.

Love this boot. Very cute and comfortable. I'm an 8-8.5 I originally got a us womens 7 after trying the Sinclair Max in an 8 and it being huge in width and seeming a bit big length wise as well, thinking they'd fit the same. The 7 was tiny. Very tight and my toes were touching the front. So I returned for the size 8 hoping they wouldn't feel huge like the Sinclair Max did. PERFECT! Width is great and length is spot on, no toes touching. I'd recommend not sizing down a full size. Half size at most and if you're a straight size I'd stick with it. If it's too wide just get an extra insole and save your toes from becoming hammer toes. I'd recommend this for both the max and reg platform. Also, the zipper portion is plus size friendly if you loosen the last two sections of laces at the top.

Typically size 8 or 7.5 in most brands. I ordered the 38 and it was way too big. 37 Fits perfectly and I have slightly wider feet and these have plenty of space in the toes. The pebbled leather is SO soft and don't need any breaking in to wear them. They are HEAVY. If you're used to the typical docs, these feel like weights on your feet!

I love these shoes!!! They are comfortable and give me some height (I’m 4’11). I get so many compliments on them and ppl can’t believe they are Dr. Martens. These shoes will complete change any outfit you wear! I highly recommend.

I only ordered a ½ size smaller, when I should have ordered a full size smaller. Had to return them - boo hoo hoo! SO dang cute! I LOVE them! Very well constructed too.

Love these boots! They are heavy as you would expect from doc martens but they are great quality and have a wonderful fit. I have a wide foot and I bought my normal size and they fit great!

These look amazing and are not comfortable even a little bit. They do not break in. The sole I think it's too thick and doesn't roll so my heels are universally wrecked unless I prep with blister bandaids AND double-doc socks. The zipper bit coming out is a bit whacky and makes them a bit loose but they look really cool.

Im a true 8 and size 8 for sinclair fits well. The leather is soft so the tongue was a little deformed despite having all the stuffings but i think thats normal.

So so cute. Run nearly a whole size too big, blisters if you get too big of a size.

I have been less than thrilled with this brand fir the last 20 years but these are winning me over. Material is soft so I might not have to bleed while breaking them in. Width seems generous and since there are no half sizes I feellike this accommodates at least a half size larger. Comfy! The zipper in front is beautiful.The platform heel isn't too clumsy looking and makes for a classic look!! If this style branches out into bright colors I would probably buy them all.

I am a 7.5 women’s. I tried the 8 first but it was too big all around. 7 is a perfect fit. If you are a half size, size down. Leather is soft and comfortable out of the box. Great quality. I like that you can remove the zipper.

Thrilled with these boots! Leather is soft and pliable, break-in time short. They’re a little heavy but that’s to be expected. Ordered a size down from what the charts said and they fit perfectly. Overall really happy with purchase.
