Loved the style and color( black ones) but my regular dr martens size was huge on me... definitely size down 1 full size... unfortunately they don’t have the next size down available in black so now I am just waiting !!

Like all Dr Martens, you have to size a full size down. I’m a size 9 in almost everything, but in docs, I’m a size 8 across the board. That said, they’re comfy—and I hope that women have gotten the memo that chunky shoes make your legs and hips look smaller!!?! Please!!! They’re. Gorgeous. Chelsea. Boots. Made of leather that will last and conform to your tootsies. Seriously. You can’t go wrong, kids.

I got these delivered today and these boots are so cool! They are really uncomfortable right now but that seems about on par with other Docs. I would normally order a 7 in boots but sized down from the reviews and the 6 fits well. They are a bit narrow and kind of tight on my ankles so that might be something to keep in mind if you order

Love these in the butterscotch but they creased horribly just trying to put them on... definitely soft leather... I didn’t even walk around in them ( put on in front of my mirror) love the style but this color will look worn as soon as you take one step... which is fine, but not the look I was going for...the black are a stiffer leather so didn’t crease when trying on. They run a full size big... ( I wear a 9 in everything..these in us w8 fit with room for mid weight socks)

It's an pretty shoe but the toe box is really uncomfortable for me. Maybe I'm starting to get bunions?! Yikes, I hope not. Just felt really tight in the toes for what's a rounded look anyway.

First time getting doc martens but these are worth it. Did a bunch of "research" in the reviews for these shoes and the sizing. In general I wear a 6.5 or 6 in women's. I went with the 5 and it fit perfect. Quality is great. Shoes are a bit heavy but it's a lot better than walking in higher heeled booties around the city. Definitely suggest wearing socks that cover the top of your ankle/shin so the leather edges doesn't rub against your skin.

The absolute best! My 14 year old daughter and I both have them and get so many compliments on them! Super comfortable!

The boots are cute-ish. I love the platform, heel, and the leather is soft. However, the sole has considerable weight and there isn’t enough support in the top of foot ankle area to feel comfortable walking. There is also this sort of weird looking pooch area above the top of the foot…like a ton of space for your foot to move around. They aren’t comfortable for me. I like Chelsea boots to fit more snug as I’m walking around all day. I took a picture next to my Birk Chelsea boots to give an idea of what I’m talking about. I’m returning these and getting the regular Rometty boots. I’m a size 8 or 8.5 in running and these feel big/weird, but the regular Rometty fit true to size

I wear a size 9 and based on the reviews I ordered a size 8. Well, the size 8 felt more like a 9.5 and the boots were too big and my heel slipped up when I walked. The shoes style wise are cute but they feel clunky, heavy and very stiff on.

These are gorgeous. I did order my usual size and agree that they do run a bit bigger than other docs, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. If you wear thicker socks it’ll be fine. They do rub the ankles when walking. Hopefully that will improve once they’re broken in.

I have a high in-step, one swollen ankle (broke it six months ago), and thicker legs in general. These fit me really well. If you have thin feet and legs, I could see them being wide/big/loose. I’d say for Dr Martens they fit true to UK size, which in my experience is a bit bigger than the US conversion indicates. I’m a US women’s 9 (maybe 9.5 with the ankle stuff), always buy docs in UK 7, often need an insert and/or thick socks. A UK 6 is always too small for me.

Super comfy. I also wear thick socks with a taller cuff to avoid the leather rubbing on my ankle. I love how they are already molding to my feet after 3 days of teaching! Buy them! True to size. So far I have sandals, heels and now these boots all in the same size. Totally worth investing I'm some good shoes!

These boots are so cute, modern, stylish and everyone complements me on them, yet they are so tough on the feet! That stiff Doc Martens leather does not soften up! The platform foot bed is the hardest rubber foot bed you could imagine but they’re hot boots!

Initially bought the 6 b/c k normally wear a 6.5 in boots… the 5 fit perfectly!!!! Now I can finally look somewhat put together with leggings!!!

These shoes are stunning! I am very glad I read the other reviews. I sized down to a 6 and I still have a little room if I wanted to wear socks. The leather is high quality and smells fabulous! They are a little stiff initially, but they mold Nicely to your foot after a bit of wear. Comfortable right out of the box. I have worn w ripped jeans, a skirt, and my go to …. Leggings. Tons of compliments! Def worth the price.

Unfortunately, I had to send these back. They are true to size I would say. Maybe there’s inconsistency with sizes. I’m a 7 in the newer style of Dr Martens. I normally wear 7.5 in other shoes. I ordered the size 6 based on many reviews that said to size down because they were too big. I’d had a hard time getting my darn foot in there even with the zipper… so, I didn’t really even try to put them all the way on.
