I ordered an 8M and it is narrower than my previous Triumphs in an 8M. This version does not work with my orthotics. My orthotics squeak with version 18, whereas they never did with previous versions. It's too bad that Saucony chose to change a good shoe. If you wear orthotics, I do not recommend Triumph 18. I am looking for another style.

That if you purchase it online, please read the return policy. After trying to "break them in", they still hurt my feet that I can't wear them. Unfortunately I can't exchange them either.

NARROW. What happened to Saucony..? They always had great roomy toe boxes. Now, just like cheap sneakers but cost $150 bucks!

They change the heel on the shoe unlike my other triumphs they slip on my heel no matter which size I get unfortunately I had to go back down to the ride 13 which fits perfect I am so sad that I could not wear the new style.

Tight, tight. Wanted to love these, but they were simply too tight. Ordered same size and regular width as my ASICS and Minuzo .

I have a pair of Triumph 17 and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. But the 18s do not have the same level of cushioning and the insoles squeak when I walk. I'm very disappointed. I need to buy shoes where I can try them on rather than from the manufacturer.

Tongue is too long for comfortable running and overall shoe is not as breathable as previous triumph's were.

I have been purchasing theTriumph for years and am going to have to try to find another shoe. Am disappointed that it is not the same as it used to be - toe box is too narrow and overall feel not the same. Also, what happened to the bright color choices!

The Triumph 18 is a fine shoe, and pretty comfortable. The Triumph has been my go-to running shoe in years past because of its above-and-beyond comfort and quality. In the past they were insanely soft, and the cushioning made extra long runs possible for me. They also held up even as the miles added up.
I hate to say it, but this generation of the Triumph just isn't up to that standard. The softness and comfort are dialed back, leaving them comparable to a lot of other standard running shoes on the market. They fit and feel fine, but don't offer the magic that they used to.

I have owned a pair of these since the first year they made them. Unfortunately it's now gotten to the point where the toe bed is so narrow that I can't fit my orthotic and my foot in the shoe even if I order a half size up from what I would typically order. So sad but looking to try another model in hopes that I can still run in Sauconys for many many years to come

I would have happily kept these if they had different laces. The material on the laces kept snagging on the hangnails in my fingers when I was tying them.

I have been wearing the Triumph for years. I walk a lot but am not hard on my shoes. Unfortunately both right and left foot are coming apart at the seems after only a few months wear. I have filled out the defect form, but quality control needs to step up here.

These runners are nothing like the Triumph 17. They are stiff, narrower and not the same amount of cushion. Very disappointed with these runners. Triumph 19 much better.

Second pair of the 18s that the stitching along the sole came loose after less that 100 miles. I've run in the triumphs for years and this is a new issue. On the hunt for a different shoe.

I was thoroughly impressed finding the triumph 17 the most cushy, fit like a glove, shoe i ever owned running for over 3 decades. i bought the 18s after going through 4 pairs of 17 and the 18 are changed. i do not understand why shoe companies have to change a perfect shoe to a horrendous one.
between the 17 and the 18, the white cushion part of the shoe (midsole) does not feel the same when you physically push on it with your finger. it also does not look the same; it looks to be a more compressed pattern and it is more firm with little give.
the 18 has a longer tongue which rubs and hits your ankles constantly. i am at the point where i want to cut if off with scissors, if i cant try and bend it forward. having the x material on the tongue to put the laces under to help hold the tongue in place is a much better option than making the tongue longer and having it ride up your ankle at ever step. in fact, lol, i just read online trying to find proper shoe terminology that for a proper fit the tongue should not be long enough that it rubs/hits the front of your ankles. the front toe box fits tighter and i have a narrower foot, but not narrow enough to where a narrow width. the upper material is also stiffer and not as soft. the 18 does not have the same cushiony running on clouds feel anymore. it is a rigid run so much so my left shoe keeps hitting/rubbing the pavement like i forgot how to run, lol. i switched from a different brand to be in this triumph 17 shoe and i thought i would be running in the truimph until i died, sadly that is not the case. i even wish i ran in the 18 right when i got them and paid closer attention to the tongue length (that is deal breaker) instead of waiting for my 17s to wear out so i could have returned the 18s. needless to say i no longer recommend these and my 17 review i did; i was elated. i am not sure if the 19 are also ruined and it is a forever ruined shoe. but i recommend paying closer attention than i did, lol, and not trusting the brand not to change things up.

I LOVED the 17s but the 18s are completely different. I would return if I could but have worn them on a few runs so that's not an option.

Regrettably these will be sold on consignment. I cannot break them in, I have never had such a problem with Saucony before. Immediately once I start my run, I am forced to a limp because they make my feet tired. I have replaced the insert lining with an expensive memory foam insert.
Very disappointed with this shoe.

After reading other reviews I decided to order this Saucony style. Big mistake. They looked like clown shoes for starters. Then they were heavy, something no jogger wants. I have been a faithful Saucony customer, always wearing the A9s until Saucony made them more and more narrow and I had to order larger sizes as a result. Ergo, I ordered the Triumphs.
I'd also recommend:
Asics

I love the colors and would have been happy with these (I had to order a size smaller) but the heel is short and loose and my heel slipped out no matter how I attempted to tie them.

Are you kidding me..? I returned a medium width for a wide. And the width of the W is the same as the med and shorter in length! Where are these shoes being made...? Saucony used to be a great shoe - now it is some chinese knock off. Don't waste your time.

I returned the shoes. They were not as comfortable as the previous Triumph shoes I have been wearing for years.
