I was in the infantry in the USMC and have worn a lot of boots. This is my 4th pair of Docs and these might by my favorite boots to date. Have had them less than a day already have them broken in. The quality of the leather is great without feeling too chunky. Boots are very lightweight yet solid. The soles are cemented as opposed to Goodyear welted but the tread I actually like more than the classic tread. For the price these are solid, comfortable, quality boots.

Love these more than the originals. They have a lining in them which makes them fit a little more snug around the ankles and the whole footbed feels thicker and more cushioned. Definitely my favorite Docs so far.

Just what I wanted! I was already thinking I would end up returning them, but I was happy to find that I didn’t have to. Comfortable right out of the box. I’m almost 60 and I always wanted a pair of Doc Martens. So glad I selected this style. Got them in the brown color. They are a very dark brown that at first glance looks almost black. The boots came with two pair of laces. Brown laces and the gold laces. I look forward to wearing them a lot.

Love these boots! Required no break-in at all, comfortable right out of the box. My favorite Dr. Martens to date.

Very cute boots, but a bit too large and wide for me so I will be sizing down from 9 to 8. I am usually an 8.5 to 9.

Sturdy, elegant docs; would buy again

I may never wear anything but Dr. Martens ever again! My Western boots have always been my most comfortable footwear. And my shoe wardrobe runs the gamut - from Birkenstocks to Jack Rogers to stilettos to Western boots to Brooks running shoes and way too many (I have a problem) other shoes in between. These boots make me so glad that combat boots are back! I thought that they would be heavy and clunky, but they are not. I have now ordered a pair in black, though not "Combs" because it didn't come in black in my size, and can't wait for them to get here!

Had given up on Dr. Martins, but this pair is actually comfortable from day 1! I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes and these are amazing.

The Combs Crazy Horse Leather boot is impressive. Crazy Horse cow leather is the very best (and most expensive) leather for boots. The leather is left raw and treated with oils that provide some water resistance. All the scars of natural cow leather show up after a few days of wear, making the boot appear beat up and worn. No two pairs look the same. A great look. Rubbing with Wonder Balsam brings out a richer and darker tone. I wear a men's size 10.5 in running shoes. The size 10 Combs was slightly loose until I replaced the thin insole with an higher, firmer arch support insole. Now it has a snug but comfortable fit. Breaking in was easy. Four hours a day in the house for two days and then a full 14 hour day in and out doors. Socks must be higher than the boot. I keep the laces VERY loose at the "bend" from hole three to hole six. Oddly, for boots that feel heavy in the box, they feel light while walking...a similar high top "Chucks". Combs are great boots for people who are on their feet for long hours. And they are great for an evening out. A 24 hour boot.

The boots are very cute but run large. I am a 6.5, got 7, as there are. I half sizes but it’s way large. Exchanging for 6 instead.

I liked the leather and build. Ordered an 8 (Normally prefer an 8 1/2 in boots) but these were really big - felt like 9+

The boots were exactly as pictured. The for is great. They are very comfortable, exacted what I expect from the brand

Really nice boot. I normally wear a size 7, and usually have to go down a size in Docs. These are actually true to size. I had purchased a size 6 and they were to snug.

These are amazing boots! I have Achilles tendinitis and arthritis in my feet and have daily constant pain so I really only ordered these to have a pair of boots for colder weather and working around the yard, not an everyday shoe. However, wearing them around the house for the past few days to break them in (which is definitely needed), it dawned on me this evening that I’ve had NO foot/ankle pain. They will now be everyday shoes. They run a bit big, I wear 8.5-9 normally so ordered an 8, could have probably done with a 7, but they’re out of stock, so, these will do with thicker socks. 10/10 recommend.

I heard that Dr. Martens were hard to break-in and uncomfortable. Not so with these boots! So comfortable right out of the box, fit great and look so cool! Wore them to walk to work on a snowy Chicago morning, and my feet were warm and dry. No break-in time necessary! Can’t say enough great things about these boots!

My husband loved this waterproof Dr Martens. An early Christmas gift and his 1st pair.

So this is my first pair of leather Docs. I have a pair of the “ballistic nylon” shoes and they fit without break-in. These will take some wearing to loosen up which I was prepared for. I used the wonder balsam and the super protectant on them which changed the tone of the leather a bit. I’m honestly good with the slightly shinier look to the crazy horse leather, but others may prefer the original finish…

Not satisfied, when I first opened up the box the shoes look completely used, they don’t look new at all, there’s marks on the top of shoe where it looks stretched out and on the bottom of the shoe looks faded.

The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned! Bartending on them for 8 hours was the true test for their fit. I’m normally an 8.5, but the 8 Women’s allowed for thick socks and room for toes. Highly recommend.

These boots are amazing. They look great and are extremely comfortable even with my picky feet!

Love the shoes. I think that women might want to size down 1 size. I consulted the size chart they are bigger than expected. I can wear thicker socks so no problem.

Nice looking sturdy boot. I normally wear a 13 and this is true to size.

Previous pair I had was super awesome look, comfort and style. Sizing now has been an issue, went with the usual 10 Women it was way too big. And then requested and exchange for 9 Women still are way too big, so be sure of it. Sizing felt like 2 sizes bigger
