Not sure about the look. They are very bulky at the ankle. They are comfortable but they are so bulky they almost look like ski boots. Also, the zipper doesn’t come down far enough and it makes the boot hard to put on. I almost wish I had boot hooks. I might not keep them.

No support. Bulky ankle area.

I am in my 50’s and these are the best winter boots I have ever owned. Lightweight for walking but warm. I live in west Michigan walk outside in them every day and my feet have never gotten cold.

Very disappointed. Keen shoes are supposed to have a wide toe box. These shoes were very narrow. The zipper went half way down and was almost impossible to put insoles in and to get foot into shoe. I have worn this size and brand and this shoe did not fit at all. This is the second style of Keep boots that have not fit like their shoes and boots have for years. Keen needs to advertise if they are making narrow shoes I won't buy them.

The shoe width was very snug, but the heel was so wide that my foot moved up and down when I walked, no matter how tight the laces were. Not good for walking for exercise. Sorry.

Disappointing. Toe box was too narrow for my bunions despite going up half a size. I have several Keen sandals that fit comfortably so I’d say these run narrow for the brand. They’re also very clunky and heavy and just overall not attractive. They remind me of 90’s Doc Martens and not in a good way. Of note they do come with plain gray laces if you don’t like the blue laces.

I live keens and I Specifically needed waterproof and these do not disappoint! Have now tested them in heavy rain and lots of snow. Warm and dry. First pair I ordered had a manufacturer fault (a weird lump in the right hand boot) and Zappos were excellent in sending out a replacement pair super fast.

I got these good looking, sturdy Keen boots for winter in the slightly extreme climate of northern New England. I needed something serious to handle my active lifestyle in cold and snowy and icy conditions. Also I need to accommodate high arches and thick calves, and cranky knees that don't tolerate heavyweight footwear. These boots fill the bill with their traction, tread, solid materials and construction. I slipped these Keen boots on and felt excellent and cute and ready for everything right away -- walking a trail, going out to the woodshed to haul in a load for the stove, down the unplowed/icy driveway to the mailbox, etc. My favorite feature is the custom fit made possible by both a full lace up AND a side zipper. That's great for me as my feet and ankles are not the same due to an injury which made one foot bigger. So, super convenient. These boots are just right for my needs, they are warm, light, comfy, supportive, well made, and serious about protecting feet from winter conditions. Super satisfied with this purchase, highly recommend this brand.

I love these boots, but I'm allergic to wool, and there is wool on the sides. So sad!

These were excellent quality and fit like most of my other keens. I ordered the same size I always do. I ordered a similar pair of merrells and I just needed up liking those better. This pair was slightly bulky in the ankles which wouldn’t have been fixed by sizing up or down. Had I not also ordered the Merrells to try it wouldn’t have been a deal breaker. These are great boots.

Love these boots! Keep my feet cozy warm even in wet snow. I bought them because I don’t like lacing up boots every time I put them on and the zipper on these was appealing. However I find that I don’t have to unzip them or unlace them. I can just pull them on— which is even better!

Boots fit really well. Went up 1/2 size so I could wear thick socks. Can’t wait for it to snow so I can see how well they work.

The boot was comfortable overall. I liked that I could have the foot tight (I have narrow foot) and the calf a little looser with the lacing. They reminded me a little of combat boots. I wanted to love these for easy on/easy off with the zipper. Unfortunately, My biggest problem was the zipper-it seems too short or too far toward the back. I found I had to untie and unzip to get them off. I have an older pair of Keen side zip boots with lacing on the front which I loved. I think the biggest difference is zipper placement. Bummer! I did sit outside when it was in the teens for about an hour with these on and they definitely kept my feet warm! The difficulty getting them on and off is why I am returning them-I wanted something easier to slip on and off.

A bit "burly" and bulky. I think it would do the job though. I didn't like the way the heel felt lower than the toe.

It was extremely hard to get the boots on! They need a side zipper.

As others have said, the zipper doesn't open far enough to allow putting these nice botts on without unlacing them. I really wanted boots that I could put on without tying and untying so, with sadness, I will be returning.

Super cute, but couldn’t use the zipper when the laces were fully tightened so it defeated the purpose of having the zipper at all.

Surprised & Disappointed! Last Winter, I ordered the "Short" Version: Greta Waterproof Boot (with Puffy Nylon Upper). They have great outer soles, nice support, but not exactly right for me in Uppers (Still "New" in Box & still have time to Return). So.....I assumed that the TALL version WITH Wool Uppers would be more flexible in the calf area! The ONLY good thing I can share about the Tall Version of Greta is that the Zipper is well padded so that it does NOT rub against your ankle. The Wool does NOT move with you. I have "athletic" calves and there was NO way these would work!! The SHORT Version of Greta uses 1 piece of leather that wraps around the entire lower foot (with 1 Seam). BUT: This TALL Greta has several SEAMS on lower foot. To be honest when I recently tried on the SHORT Greta Waterproof Boot AGAIN - the TOP (& top lumpy Seam) of the Right Boot sort of banged into my calf. End of Last Winter: I remembered that the ONLY thing that didn't work for me was: very thin padding of tongue (but shoemaker could add foam). BUT last week: When Top of Right Boot banged into my "athletic" calf - I went to attic for a box to return the Short Greta Waterproof Boot!! After the TALL Greta arrived (which I can NOT wear at all): I gave the "Short" Greta one more try. I was somewhat desperate (as NO new boot models for my type of foot have come out from other manufacturers). I used a DIFFERENT lacing pattern & they seemed a bit more comfortable. P. S. The Short Greta has a Nice Outersole & good support. I only need them when it snows: just to leave the house & do errands (and maybe walk). I plan to write to KEEN & suggest that they RE-Introduce a Winter Insulated Boot for NEXT Winter (2021-2022) that can accommodate athletic calves and people who need their ROUND toe box (like their discontinued Keen Hoodoo III Tall). Crap leather - will never buy keen shoes again

After wearing them for a few weeks they totally broke down and have no ankle support at all. I LOVE Keen everything and am bummed these don’t have good stability to walk in.
