Previous versions were more plush; like walking on a cloud. 5 was the best. 6 was okay but 7 doesn't cushion much at all. Too bad. If you take insoles from an old pair and add them, they will feel more like the 5.

I feel a poking in my arches that wasn't there in the 6. I also think there's been a change made to the cushioning. I used the 6s for work shows and they were perfect. I worn the heck out of them and they lasted a while. I don't see myself doing that with the 7s.

Not sure what's happening but the 7 is definitely not as plush feeling as the 5.

I ordered a size 11.5 wide in the turbulence chili color. The toe box was too tight, so I returned the shoes and requested the same color but in a 12 wide. Instead of an exchange, I was given a full credit. It took several weeks , and I've just given up! Therefore, I'm going to try to find the 12 w locally. I just don't like going out to a retail store with this pandemic going on.

I want to try HOKA shoes for a long time but my wide feet cant fit in any of these. Now Bodi7 is available in4E. The shoes is comfortable and true to size but i think the toe box and insole/footbed is not wide enough for 4E shoes.

I put in 3 miles a day walking at a brisk pace and while the cushion of the Bondi feel great the tread wear has gotten worse as the shoe has evolved. I am lucky to get 90 days use before the soles are completely flat spotted. Need to get more wear than that for the price.

The Bondi line has fit me perfectly since I started with the Bondi 2... same size in every new model with the same comfortable fit. I haven't liked the changes to the cushioning in some years and the tongue in other years but the fit was always the same. This model is different. The ankle cutout seems to have a higher cut to it and maybe that's because it has more generous memory foam ankle collar. Now it rubs uncomfortably on the bottom of my ankle bone and I may have to add a heel lift to prevent that ... which negates what I like about the shoe having almost no heel to toe drop. The also feels narrow in the toe box, or at least it isn't flexible to stretch to fit my foot. I'm not sure if I'd recommend the shoe, I still like it but the fit isn't amazingly comfortable as I usually expect.

Bondi 6 was pretty much perfect to me. The new Bondi seven (wide) has a tighter toe box. The heel cup feels slightly wider. I think the overall mid foot volume is less, than the Bondi 6. I also don't like the plastic overlays on the 7. The bond 6 had a cleaner look. I think the midsole cushioning is the same as the Bondi 6. I am hoping Hoka is not going the way of other running shoe companies with more plastic on the upper, and more flexible less cushioned midsole. It wouldn't be a Hoka anymore. I have extreme fat pad atrophy, and these are the shoes that keep me moving. I use orthotics for extra cushioning. My mom has arthritis, and the Bondi helps her too.

I was so excited that the Bondi 7 came in extra wide! I've been waiting a couple years for these. I was disappointed because they were not wide enough for me. For comparison, I have found Brooks Ghost to be wide enough in their 4E shoes.

The shoes fit well and are cushy and comfortable for walking and standing. However, after putting on 40 miles of jogging, I've noticed that these make my shins, ankles and calf's hurt when compared to a stiffer soled shoes. Limited color selection for wide widths.

Something has changed in the fit and cushion! Maybe not for the better. Knees and calf's hurting from this new shoe. Also in wide withes very disappointing in color options

I have to agree with others who have been loyal Bondi wearers and found this shoe to be more stiff with less give to the coushon. I own every color of the Bondi 6 thankfully and was bummed when I walked around in the seven. Why on earth would you make a shoe with this high of a stack less plush than the previous model? The reason many of us are loyal Bondi wearers is because we need a plush ride due to injuries and other issues.
I truly hope you rectify this.

When you walk with the Bondi's the way the bottom of the shoe is shaped, it feels like your moving forward without even trying. It's amazing. Unfortunately the fit is not comfortable. I have a pair of Hoka Clifton 7s that fit very comfortably like a high priced shoe should. The Bondi feels pretty heavy compared to others I have tried and don't seem to have a snug/comfortable fit. I'm returning the Bondi's, and keeping the Clifton 7s .

My orthopedic doctor suggested Bondi 6 -- I require a different size for each foot (makes it an expensive pair of shoes). I use the shoes for everyday wear -- I have 8 pairs...including the gym and my walking. The Bondi 7 didn't seem as plush and did not fit comfortably. I have worn them 5 times and moved them to back of closet.

I have a high instep and I could use the depth of the shoe to be greater which was what I was hoping with the shoe being and extra wide that there would also be a little more depth

Just received today and not sure I'm going to like the all-black look. But I really don't want loud highlighter writing on the sides, so I had to go with this all black version so they can serve other purposes as a versatile shoe, and still be my most comfortable shoe. But!, I will say this is my 4th pair of Hokas so, yes, I definitely recommend them in general! Super comfortable and durable. They're cool shoes.

Not exactly what I was looking for but needed a shoe quickly they are comfortable but look a little orthopedic . Picture was deceiving, maybe it was a nine rather than a seven.

Super comfortable shoes, but only about 5 months into this pair and the bottom treads are coming off like they were stuck on with Elmer's glue. I had to google search it because I've never seen or heard of this happening with any shoe ever. Switching to a different brand. My previous pair lasted for like 3 or 4 years. Why pay over $100 for shoes that can't go half a year???

Well, first off, they are super comfy. Like walking on clouds but I've had them less than a month and they're already falling apart. One of the rear heel tabs/loops has torn off, and the material on the side has a hole in it. For the price, I would've hoped they'd be just a little more durable.

I wore them for a full day and now I can't stand to wear them for 10 minutes. The arch support just digs and hurts. Wish I could return but alas now have been worn. 2 Stars for looks and build quality but that's it

I tried this shoe on expecting it to have the same qualities as the recovery sandal sole. However it did not. I have planter fasciitis and it's just not that comfortable. I returned them
