I'm 66 YO and run 35 to 40 miles a week. I have worn out seven pairs of Hoka's. Bondis and Cliftons. I'm a fan.
I understand that in order to make a better pair of shoes you need to make changes. Unfortunately, for my feet the new collar is to firm and the pressure on my outside ankle bone feels like a knife. I've had to resort to a thick innersole to lift the ankle above the collar. I'll probably end up cutting the collar away where it digs in. I can't figure out why the collar was change from the old comfortable one to the new firm version. It doesn't add performance or life to the shoe. ???

I think this shoe is great, but I have a problem with it. The first time I tried them on I felt like I was walking on clouds. They were really comfortable. Very good support. Since then I've been having a problem with the width of the shoes. I've never purchased wide shoes before because I've never needed to. My feet aren't skinny but they're also not wide. I'm in the middle. With this shoe, I wish I would've bought the wide version! At first I thought that I just needed to break them in, but it's been over two weeks now and my feet are still sore on the outside. I wish I could've exchanged them. They look really good on! I got the all red.

I have several pairs fof HOKA's and this is my third style i have tried. They are a little to cushy under my feet. Quality is excellent as always. They may get better as they break in. I do enjoy them hence the four stars and will keep them but a bit to cushy at times.

The Bondi 7 is a well made shoe. Compared to Bondi SR , they are lighter weight and more stylish . I was looking for a dressier sneaker following Achilles surgery, and these did not fit the bill. Nothing compares to the comfort of the Clifton 7

New Bondi 7 with the 4E width fits as expected
What feels quite different is the cushioning . More firm than previous iterations , a bit disappointed

I've been wearing the Bondi 7's for a couple of weeks, and they are the plushest shoes I've ever had. Just a few wearings and my achillies issue on my left foot is much better. The right shoe however seems to have a smaller toe box area than the left shoe, and it feels like my toes are being squeezed. I'm hoping this will get better as I break them in but it is a little uncomfortable for now.

It's a favorite shoe for me so far. Could be a little softer yet and and I would like to some arch support in them that would make them even better and a great shoe, but still a very good shoe.

Nice upgrade in fit and feel to the Bondi 7, however, 2 improvements would make them perfect for me: 1) Needs a larger toe box and 2) A more secure and longer tongue. Excellent cushioning, which is why I love Bondi's. I tried the extra-wide version last year, but was too wide. The Bondi is too narrow for me right where the base of my little toe is - just feels uncomfortably tight when wearing for periods longer than 1-hour. The tongue seems longer this year than in the past, but could be about another 1/2 inch long, as when tying my laces, I always have to reach in under the laces and pull out, as well as get in a straighter position to cushion the laces.

I use these for Running/Walking. I gave it 4 stars because The first couple of days it felt narrow but I guess it stretched and now It's the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Ordered the Clifton 7 to rotate with these daily.

These shoes have been great for running. I'll admit, I let my other shoes get too run down, but I was able to increase my running time per mile over a minute with these shoes. And my feet feel fantastic after a run. I run about twice to three times a week at a 3 - 5 mile clip, so I am not doing the heavy running a lot of runners are. The pictures make these shoes to be bigger than they are, but they are not that big, and they are not heavy. BEST running shoes I have ever had!

The shoes are very supportive on concrete floors & walking around all day. Even though they are 4E, they still rub & hurt the sides of my feet.

has lots of cushioning, as expected, but hurts my ankle more than the Bondi 6 did. Would still purchase again and recommend to longer-distance runners
