Fit is fine, a little snug around the ankle but not bad. A bit bulkier than I expected. Good support. The foot bed seems to get more comfortable the more you wear them.

Your Reviewer – I'll begin by telling a bit about myself, so you can decide if my review is relevant to you. I am male, 6'3” and 265 lbs. I do not run due to bad knees and typically wear GF Orthotics due to pronation (see Remaining Issues below). Furthermore, I selected these shoes for comfort, as I do walk a lot at work and do some trail hiking. Initial Impressions – When I first slipped them on, I thought they felt narrow in the foot bed, but a bit of lace adjustment provided more wiggle room. I did notice the insoles for the first few days, as it was a bit narrower than I was accustomed to in my soon-to-be retired NB Hierro. Even two or three days later, I noticed the insole edges. Cushioning – Very soft, especially in the heel. It is an entirely different sensation landing on the heel than the Hierros with their aft flap. Surprisingly soft, I suppose to absorb the initial impact of running, but firming up rapidly while still feeling supportive. Soles – I'd never seen an outsole where the majority wasn't a wear surface material. On these, there are defined wear areas with the surrounding areas being the same softer absorption material. Time will tell how this works and if there are delamination issues. One Week In – A few tweaks to the laces to find optimal pressure, I like shoes snug, a holdover from my days skiing competitively. I found it interesting that I can use a standard lacing pattern and do not have the same problems with cutting off blood flow across the top of my high arches. My Hierros took weeks to get a good lacing pattern that provided the clamped on feel but allowed adequate blood flow across the top of the arch. Maybe you are figuring out that I am willing to put in the work on a pair of shoes that show potential? Remaining Issues – The only issue I have had other than the normal transition from a familiar brand to something new is my orthotics. On about the third day I placed my “casual” GF orthotics in and after two or three hours out shopping, my heels were killing me! It felt like I was wearing very old, very worn out shoes with zero heel cushioning. I will try both other pairs of orthotics and see if any work. Pulling the insoles out, you can see the entire bottom, and the rear foot bed, has more curve than the GF orthotics. Holding the orthotic up to the underside of the insole, this is quite apparent! I believe this is placing more weight around the perimeter of the heel, not allowing the area immediately below the heel to do its job of cushioning. Maybe it's time for a visit to GF to see if they offer a narrower heel, or can heat and reshape the heel to compliment the shoe's curve? Conclusion – A week in and other than wanting to resolve the orthotic issue, I think these will work! Given Zappos year long trial period, they are definitely worth a little more time to work out my idiosyncratic kinks.

Usually wear a 14 but this 14 was entirely too small. So really did not do a true test because they were sent back. But return process was flawless and fast.

Size and fit are fine. Just started wearing them, but comfortable so far.

I tried these shoes once before (different style) ; this style fits much better!

The arch support is a bit much but I think I just get use to it. They are comfy and right size.

Left shoe feels pretty good. Right shoe is painful. Arch is too high on right shoe. The right arch doesn’t feel like it hits my instep properly. Left shoe hits instep just fine. I’m going to try changing out the insoles. Men’s size 9 regular D width.

I was looking for a shoe that provides support and helps with correcting supination. I am currently wearing at home only to get used to the shoe and see if it is the right shoe for me. Seem to be working well. They are a bit tighter than I expected - I hope through wear they stretch out a bit. Considering they are fabric - this is likely. I do feel the shoes help me navigate up and down stairs better than my other name brand shoes.

This is one of the few shoes that fits me just right. I am on my feet all day and this shoe really gives me the support and comfort that I need. Just bought my 5th pair and enjoying them.

I probably could have used at least a half size down but it was unavailable in the colorway I wanted. Super comfy tho. I'm gonna try to women's one and see if I like that better.

I bought these because they are high rated for ankle support and supination. Not too sure about that yet - we'll see. I sure wish the folks that deliver would read signs that say deliver to back. I have a HUGE sign that states - yet some are determined to leave LARGE packages on my front steps for all the would be thieves...

still felt snug even after ordered 1/2 size larger.

Can spend entire day in these and have no foot pain very happy with them.

Very nice shoes, the arch of the foot is very uncomfortable! The looks are amazing the comfort could be better

Great shoe but narrow

This pair of Bondis are slightly roomier than my last pair, for some reason. I exchanged it to a half size smaller.
