Why does Hoka only make wide shoes in Ugly Colors, not the nice bright blue colors and other bright colors, they normally only have very boring Black or ugly colors for wide shoes?

I'm 40 years old, 5'8, 190lbs. I have completely flat feet and Achilles tendinitis. Taking brief walks around the neighborhood on slight inclines can make my calves lock up solid.
I teach painting classes; by hour 3, my lumbar is entirely shot from the pain of standing on concrete floors that entire time.
I mention all of these things first just to paint a picture of what constant pain I'm in when I do almost anything on my feet.
I've owned Brooks Beast shoes in the past, they helped some. Oofos do not; their outsole curves too much like the keel of a boat and doesn't allow a flat surface for the ball of my heels to rest.
The only relief I find is in Doc Martens boots and now, my beloved Hoka One One Bondi 7s.
I'm a first time owner; but I'm already in love.
If you've never tried on the Bondi, the best analogy I can offer is to imagine your feet resting on personal trampolines about three inches thick that bounce about a half inch when you ask them to, and offer solid support when you don't.
I do wish the Bondi 7s came in mid or high-tops for ankle support, but I love what these are doing for me.
I came home this evening from standing on concrete all day and realized to my amazement I wasn't immediately dying to take my shoes off.
I'm a big fan and I recommend you try the Bondi 7s without hesitation. I wish I'd gotten into Hoka a long time ago.

These shoes are the best! I love the all-red palette. I'm reading a lot of people giving 3 star reviews based solely on the color which is weird to me. These shoes are hands-down the smoothest I've experienced. I've logged over 8,000 miles and have run in in most brands other than New Balance and Cloudflow. Easily it's a 5-star shoe regardless the color options. The smooth cushion this shoe provides outshines any color flaw. I've never heard of somebody running in a shoe, love how they felt and say, "nah, this could be 40% better if it was another color." I highly recommend this shoe. If you prefer a different color, maybe try the Bondi 6?

Since the pandemic began back in March, my wife and I have averaged 35 miles of walking a week. We just purchased our 3rd pair of Hoka Bondi’s. They are extremely comfortable, with maximum cushioning. The shoes will wear out, especially when putting in big weekly walking miles. So, we replace them without hesitation, realizing our physical well-being is well worth the replacement cost. We highly recommend this shoe!

My father is a foot surgeon and out of all the shoe brands he recommends, Hoka is at the top. This is my 4th pair and I absolutely love them. I work long shifts as a RN and these shoes are what get me through the days/nights. I love them. Best shoes ever!!!

shoes are very comfortable. how about for the next version you ask the public about colors options BEFORE you release. there should have been at least a black and white version. who ever selected these color options should be demoted.

The Bondi 7 has three advantages over my last shoes, the Clifton 6. First, the Bondi 7 has more cushioning than the Clifton 6, making those long hours at my standing desk more tolerable. Second, the Bondi 7 has a wider fit than the Clifton 6, which helps accommodate my orthotic inserts and my enormous feet. Third, they look more visually appealing. Hoka really nailed the design. The all-black Bondi 7 is incredibly sleek.

Wow! When I was considering picking these up in white is was a bit concerned they might look like nurse's shoes. Which they can easily be used for, may even be the intention. I'm wearing them more for fashion/ streetwear and the gym. There are many bright colors in activewear this season, and I wanted a pair of white sneakers.
The fabric is white, but the lettering in the logo is this white, almost translucent color. So bright and crazy cool-looking that they don't look like nurse's shoes if you're wearing them with tie-dye joggers. I would describe them as neon white.
They also work with more muted tones and solids of Lululemon. Wearing them with a no-show sock and 5-inch length shorts. If you have nice-looking legs, your legs are going to look amazing.
They're the sexiest nurse's sneakers I've ever worn. I am going to buy a second pair.

I'm a heavy guy who just started jogging to get in better shape and after I started using these Hoka Bondi 7 shoes I no longer have any discomfort in my legs, knees or feet and I am also able to exercise for a longer time without getting tired. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. These are definitely worth a purchase and they're also stylish.

If the toe box had been a smidgen wider and higher, or my forefoot a smidgen narrower and flatter, these might have been ideal for my perpetually pained feet. My search for a super comfortable shoe continues.

I have had 6 knee surgeries due to an auto accident in 2003 and I've got a total knee replacement in my right knee. So I'm pretty picky about my shoes and I let my knees tell me. I've tried all the big brands like N@@e,As@@s,N@@@@@@@@e and this is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Nothing but HOKA's from now on. I'm telling everyone I know about them, and some of them are now wearing HOKA's as of this past week, and they love them also.

I love these shoes. It was a tough choice between the Bondi 7, and the Clifton 7. I chose the bandai 7 for the maximal cushioning, as well as the durability. I am sure the Clifton 7 would have been an excellent choice, as well. Since I do not run long distances, nor do I race, I was not concerned about the extra weight of the Bondi 7.
I am 58 years old, 5'10, weigh about 180 lb, and run about 2 mi a day on asphalt.
I have been wearing Hoka One One shoes for several years, after reading an article recommending them for people with hallux limitus, (arthritis in the large joint at the base of the big toe) which I have on both feet.
The Bandai 7 provides incredible cushioning, easily accommodates my prescription orthotics, and facilitates an easy stride. I also feel very balanced and stable in these shoes. The padded tongue, and memory foam collar add to the comfort of this shoe . There is a very secure, but not constraining, lockdown. Right out of the box these shoes felt great on my feet.
I am very pleased with my choice of the Bondi 7, and like the colors just fine!

My new Hoka Bondi 7 shoes are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever worn. I have for many years suffered with bad arches and have very good custom made orthotics which fit nicely into these shoes. Also I have sciatica and suffer from vertigo/instability issues. These shoes allow me better support and balance so I might walk and stay healthy. I am 75 and feel terrific wearing these shoes.

The Bondi 7 lives up to the hype and it's history in the Hoka lineup. It has the right balance of cushion and stability. I'm a frequent runner. I'm 6 foot, 170 pounds, and returned to Hoka for the cushion because of knee pain while running. The Bondi 7 is my fourth road running shoe type in the Hoka family. The sole of Bondi 7 feels firm while walking, but it surprisingly has a soft cushion feel when running, yet there's still plenty of stability. I tend to pronate, and while the Bondi 7 is a neutral shoe, there's still enough support to keep me from over pronating. I also run in Altra's, which are zero foot drop, so switching back and forth with the Bondi 7 is a breeze, since they only have a 4mm drop. I primarily run on road surfaces, but the Bondi 7 has been performing well on uneven surfaces as well, such as dirt and rocky roads. The size seems to be true to the same size in other running shoes I use. Plus, the bright red color is bold and fun! What's not to like? I highly recommend the Bondi 7.

My third pair of Bondi. Total life changer. I was unable to walk without a slight limp due to plantar fasciitis let alone run. Not only is running now pain free, I dropped almost 2 minutes off my average pace! Amazing shoes!!

I normally wear a womens size 10. I have wide feet but the Bondi 6 had a naturally wide foot bed, so I wore a regular width and they fit good. I went to a local store to try the Bondi 7 on and definitely needed a wide width in this style!! I saw a color I loved in mens and tried them on for comparison and glad I did. I only needed 1 size smaller in mens. So the womans 10 wide fit like a 9D in mens. I found exactly the color and size on Zappos and they were delivered in less than 48 hours! I’m a nurse and need comfort from day one. My first pair of Hoka Bondi’s lasted well over a year.

I have been seriously running for over a year and it has difficult to find adequate footwear. I have really flat feet and wear corrective orthotics so I need a wide shoe. Most running shoes are just naturally narrow. The extra wide Hoka One One Bondi 7 was perfect. It's wide enough that I can wear my orthotics without any issues. The ride is soft yet responsive enough that I feel comfortable on 3 mile runs, 8 mile runs, light jogs, and speed work.

Started walking a year ago . I have MS, so walking is not my strong suite. Bought a pair of Bondi 7s. The cushioning helped a lot. Comfort is important. I have three pairs now. My wife has three also. My kids have them also. So we obviously highly recommend them.
