I used to have issues with ball of foot pain. Not anymore. Since switching to HOKA shoes I don't have anymore issues. I even use the Bondi X now as a court shoe for tennis while the Stinson ATR 6 is great as an off road shoe, which I often even use on road. It's super stable and highly cushioned. Love it.

Kept hearing good things about Hoka, but thought they might be too expensive -- wrong. Worth every penny. Great customer service, good fit, and extremely comfortable shoes (my feet have never felt better when walking and hiking).

This is my 2nd pair of Stinson 6s, after owning the 3s, 4s, and 5s. They've been my shoe of choice for many years and the quality and performance of these did not disappoint, nor was it expected to. I'm looking forward to the release of the 7s, or any information about advancements in this product, given my preference for it as my go-to trail running shoe.

Comfortable right away with no break-in period. Good traction for walking in the woods, on various paths, etc. Also, very cushioned and with arch support. The shoe just feels good to wear.

Most comfy hiking shoes I’ve ever worn! Fit just right, unlike the Bondi and Clifton which require you to go up another 1/2 size.

Use these on rocky trails and they are very stable while not being clunky . They provide excellent shock absorption which really enables me to regularly hike as i have some damage to my right knee .

I'm using this shoe as a trainer to get me back into running. I use it with a 25-pound TRX Vest on so I really appreciate the padded support on the ball of the foot landing and push-off. I have a great idea for the perfect shoe for me that would include the best features of The Speedgoat Mid 2 GTX, the Stinson ATR 6, and The Speedgoat 5 Mid GTX that I'm waiting for as an exchange.

Recently found myself with aching feet for a protracted period. These shoes are an absolute game changer!! The most cushioned shoes I've ever personally enjoyed. It's almost like my feet are normal again when I'm wearing them.

My feet have so many problems. It hurt to even walk around my house let alone go anywhere. My daughter is a big fan of this shoe but knowing my feet need a little wider fit she bought me the mens shoe. It fit perfect! I can go out and do things now!!

I really love these shoes. I just wish they would bring back the Stinson Mid GTX. That was my favorite for bad weather. The fit was great and they lasted. I still wear my Miss when it's raining out. Please consider bringing them back to the lineup.

My third pair. Have worn a number of different models and find Stinson more comfortable, protective, and responsive than the Bondi 8, Clifton 7, Gaviota, and Speedgoat 4 GTX. I switched to Hoka following surgery for Achilles tendon rupture and have not been disappointed.
I'd also recommend:
Formerly wore Mew Balance, ASCIS, and Brooks

I have hallux limitus and have had plantar fasciatis in the past. These shoes are absolutely the very best I've ever worn at keeping my feet from being in pain. Until I started buying the Stinson shoe, I had never spent this kind of money on a shoe with the exception of hiking and fishing boots. I am so glad that I found these.

I walk/jog five miles around my neighborhood on rough paved roads. I could not do this in any other shoe. The Stinson have saved me from toe and metatarsal pain.

I'm a long distance hiker (PCT, CDT, CT, AZT, part of the AT) with a history of trying many of the top brands of trail runners for my hikes. I found the HOKA Stinsen a couple years ago and stopped searching for the best shoe. These are by far the best shoes for me. They are excellent on road walks and on trail, but are not very good off trail because the sole is so thick that your foot plant on a slanted surface is off. Still, I don't do very much off trail walking, so they are the perfect balance of rigidity and cushion that I need. I've done about 4000 miles in HOKA Stinsens to date.
