If Love Cushion, Have to Try It. Words Cannot Describe It
There's Absolutely No Comparison Between Stinson 6 & 5; 6 is better
Fit is very tight, snug, but comfortable
Fits like perfect gloves
Fits like perfect wet suit
Lacing system is much better
I could wiggle my toes even when shoes were laced up tight
Shoe feels very plush, cushiony, springy, resilient, bouncy, soft, but not squishy...
The only thing didn't like but may improve later is my heel doesn't fit as deep in the shoe, but there was no heel slippage
I'm used to Hokas CRADLING my heel & foot
Stinson 6 could replace my other Hokas & other brands for 90% of my everyday use: Bondi 6, Clifton 6, Clifton Edge, Challenger 5, Rincon & Rincon 2, EVO Mafate & ( Elevon 2, which I haven't tried yet ) & NB 1080v9, Brooks Cascadia, GTS, Adrenaline & Beast 16, 18, 20. Rincons are much lighter, but Stinson 6 is very comfortable
I purchased custom insoles with max cushion that are tailored & form fitted to each individual foot
Now the Stinson 6s Are INSANELY Cushiony...
Better Than Walking on Clouds
Better Than Walking on Pillows
It's INSANE that a shoe, especially a trail ( All Terrian ) could feel this plush, soft, cushy, springy, bouncy yet still feels stable on sidewalks: cement, roads: asphalt
I'll have to see if it's too cushy, soft, plush, pillowy & springy for uneven trails, jagged rocks, roots, small & numerous closely spaced pot holes from cattle & horses
Seems stable enough on roads, want to make sure footing is solid & not likely to roll ankle if land at angle because of slope ( horizontally crossing hill ) or landing on rocks, roots, highly uneven surfaces )...
I've heard of others stubbing shoe because they didn't rise their foot high enough because of stack height of shoe and fallen on ground face first or hands out in front, but never experienced it before
While I didn't fall to ground, i did trip couple of times in Stinson 6s because of uneven surfaces on sidewalk & roads

Just completed my first 6.5 miles in these shoes and the improvements made over the model 5 are great!
About to order my second pair.......

I love my Hokas. That's why I keep buying them. But this is what I need help with. My previous two pair that I bought last summer are unusable now because the heel has completely worn out and gives me blisters. I would love for HOKA to remedy this for me.

Good walk all day if I had the right socks. Avoid low rise socks.

I absolutely love how the Stinson feels on my feet. I have a bit bit wider foot and the toe box on these is a little wider so no need for a wide size for me . I had to send my first pair back as the sole separated from the upper. I've had great luck with many prior purchases of Hokas so giving these the benefit of doubt.

Feels great when walking. When just sitting feel pressure in one spot on right foot, which is my smaller foot. Otherwise great while walking.

My 9 was tight. Awesome during walking. I will buy again but wider or larger.

My third pair of the Stinson 6. Very versatile shoe for walking, running and everyday casual wear. My favorite model having tried the Bondi 8, Clifton 7 and Speedgoat 4 GTX. Starting wearing Hoka during recovery following torn Achilles.
I'd also recommend:
Formerly New Balance, ASCIS, and Brooks

I wanted to love them but couldn't get the sizing right. I ordered the European size that I always wear and it wasn't even close to being correct. Tried men's and woman's and just not right for me. Bummer because they have such good reviews. Zappos is awesome!!!!

The fit was perfect and the shoes felt comfortable BUT for the fact that I have an issue with one of my feet. Many companies are offering shoes that have wide toe boxes - at last. However, they are not offering shoes that have HIGHER toe boxes. Nor do shoe companies provide any information on toe box depth. There are two choices - buy a pair of orthopedic shoes or sneakers and be comfortable (but with no pizazz) or look at photos of shoes and try and pick ones that LOOK like the toe boxes are higher. This shoe was great but for toe box height and thus, they have to go back, along with a pair of Hokas, New Balance, and Brooks. I wish that companies thought about this aspect of shoes or at least provided data.

I've had a couple pairs of the Stinson, love the plush feel and roomy toe box. My biggest complaint is lack of great color selection/options, like some of the other Hoka models. And my other complaint is the outer bezel of the soles, cuts in too far on most shoes, and rubs inside of my arches making them uncomfortable because of the angle. Need more wide options please! Love Hoka!

I wear my Stinsons playing pickleball an hour a day. Haven't found another shoe that provides me the stability, support and comfort that these shoes provide. But they only last 5 to 6 weeks before the comfort is gone. I weigh 250 which doesn't help but love these shoes

These Hokas run narrow and do not have as much cushion as my Bondis. Had to return

I love the shoes but I'm disappointed in the laces I do tend to tie my shoes very tight and snug. Still, within the first month of running in the shoes every day, the laces on my right shoe was starting to break apart. I would like to reach out to hook up and request more laces. I would be extremely disappointed if I had to pay for them.

I've struggled for years to find an every day shoe that fits properly and does not kill my feet or lower back. I have tried them all it seems. I hesitated on trying HOKA because of that but I am glad that I bought a pair. I purchased the Stinson Air and they are a relief to wear. It helps with eliminating lower back and foot pain. I did not have to go up or down from my commonly worn size to get a comfortable fit. I will continue to purchase this product.

I am pretty much a trail runner and run 20-30 mpw. I wear a size 7 wide in Cliftons, Bondis and Speedboat 4s. I really like the highly cushioned Bondis and was hoping the Stinsons would be perfect as well but after several runs in them, I realized there's not enough room in the toe box for my wide forefoot. I returned them in exchange for another pair of Bondi, wide. I really liked the high cushion of the Stinsons and they have excellent grip over trails but I needed more room up front.

These shoes helped me with healing my plantar fasciitis. The sole is soft enough to damp all impacts even during long hikes. The only thing I would like to see improved is a better insole with more arch support.

Not really a true negative, since it's kind of the point, but these shoes look massive. On the flip side, I find them extremely comfortable, with great cushion and stability (due to the width of the sole). More importantly, compared with other Hokas I've owned, these seem like they're going to hold up for a while (doing mostly road running, a little gravel). They're also expensive, but seem like they're made well. I've stopped wearing my Cliftons pretty much altogether, as the roomy toebox on the Stinson makes me way too aware of how constrained the Cliftons are.

People at work have been raving about Hokas and that they are comfortable and prevent fatigue. My boss gave me a gift card to buy a pair and so I did. I got the Stinson because it was recycled material. They feel and look good. I do think they have some extra cushion in the heal to help prevent fatigue. But they are good. One downside is they are terribly "squeeky " on wet floors.
