The customer service/delivery were excellent, love the color. The first time I wore them to run and walk my feet were killing me, heel and arch felt horrible, toe box was fine. I assumed they just needed breaking in?
My family and I just returned from a 2 week walking tour out of the country and I wore my Clifton 7's and my feet ached every.single.day. I am back in my old Brooks and my feet feel great, it's not my feet!!!

It's horrible
Left foot is pretty comfortable but right side is too narrow.
I feel like my foot is tighten up with string
My husband strongly recommend this, he said very comfortable.
But I don't.
It's on my shoes rack, someday it will be in trash can.

They changed the shape on the back around the heel and it just does not feel as secure. The support in the mesh is not as strong either. Overall, not the same as the other pairs I have loved in the past.

I recently bought a pair of HoKA Clifton 7 shoes from a store in my town. I loved them so much that i wanted to purchase another pair exactly like them but in a different color so I bought the Clifton 7 from the HOKA website and they felt nothing like the ones i already have. They were very hard and uncomfortable and squeezed my heel so i returned the shoe. I am not sure how the same exact pair of shoes could feel so different.

My coworker bragged on these, how comfy they were and they didn't make his back hurt. Well I bought them and I'm not at all impressed, at the end of a 10 ht shift my feet and my back was hurting. I decided to give it a week and at the end of the week my feet were screaming at me, needless to say they are back in their box in my closet. If I could return them I would.....so sad, not worth the money. I did buy some sandals and they were indeed worth the money, really liked them.

This shoe was not comfortable at all. It seemed like there was no cushion to the shoes and no arch support. I love Hoka Hoka One but not this shoe.

They fit one size larger, not nearly as comfortable and supportive as Brooks! And certainly not as cute as Brooks! I returned!
I'd also recommend:
Ecco, Spenco, Crocs, Brooks.

Very uncomfortable. Did not have the feeling like walking on a cloud like the Clifton 5 shoes did.

The Clifton 7 runs extremely narrow. I tried a D and then an E. They did not work for me. I need more width. I am so disappointed because the sneaker feels comfortable at first.

Experienced pain with ball of left foot after only one use at work. Not sure why because previous Hokas are okay. Not sure what to do because this was on sale online and already discarded the box that came with it.

I love Cliftons and I use it for work as a nurse. Clifton 7 makes me feel like I am wearing mules because the collar is too shallow that it is way below my ankles so every step I take, I feel like my heel is coming out of the shoes. It feels like there's nothing holding the back of my foot! The outside of my toes hurts for some reason (maybe it's narrower in this model) which is ironic because I always buy my Cliftons in wide to prevent this. Something is totally off with Clifton 7. My lower back pain is a true test of how bad Clifton 7 is when working. I'll wait for next year for Clifton 9 since Clifton 8 seems to have the same collar as Clifton 7. So much for prioritizing easier entry. I'm so sad because now I have to look for another set of shoes that will work for me while on the floor.

Wanted so much to love these. I love the look. Running in them made my legs feel fatigued and they hurt the bottom of my feet. Everyone raves about Hokas so maybe it's just me. I ran a few times, wore them around but had to return. Thankfully Hoka was very good about returning them, even though worn a few miles.

I am not impressed. Feel flimsy and non-supportive of foot. Won't purchase this type again. I am a fan of Hoka's. Not these

I heard good things, but honestly not a fan. They certainly do feel like pillows, but a mere two mile walk left one foot aching as well as both calves. Probably is a good shoe, but keep in mind that the higher heel also works the calf more so if you are not a fan of additional calf workout then this shoe is not for you.

Very disappointed with the Clifton 7. Not at all comfortable like the Clifton 5. The Clifton 5 you feel like you are walking on clouds.

Not what expected. Just returned it
The inside mesh is too tight for wide feet. I ordered 9 .5 W ... returned

The shoe is lightweight and has a lot of cushion in the heel. With that said, my heel would sink and I felt like my toes were higher than my heel. That killed my knees. I am on my third day of trying to get my knees from throbbing. I wish there was a place local that I could have tried them. Not a hoppy customer considering it cost over $100.

They have been uncomfortable from the outset but I have foot pain and they are recommended by medical professionals because of the padding and the rocker toe.
My feet are miserable in them. The mesh tongue guard hurts too. My underfoot pain is worse in these than other shoes I own.
Sorry Hoka. Never again. Can I still return them?

This shoe is just not for me....within days of wearing them my legs were in a lot of pain to the point that walking was painful. I stopped wearing them to see if indeed it was the shoes but after wearing them again my low back @went out"...a lot of pain. I have not tried to return due to me wearing them for a week and a few days. The shoe itself is nice looking, good construction and comfortable but just not for my gait. I have had two other pairs of Hoka sneakers that were great.

These hurt my feet so bad which was shocking considering how many people encouraged me to buy Hokas. Returned them. Bummer.

These shoes are good for walking, but not so great for running. I prefer a lighter shoe with better arch support.

This shoe is an abomination. It is really now just the Bondi. What happened to the Clifton? After Hoka discontinued the Clifton 4, their sneakers are a scam. Overpriced, lasting about a month, too squishy, and way too wide. My feet, legs and hip can all testify to the horridness of this shoe. Do not buy it. Boycott it, so we can demand that they bring back quality footwear. I am going to try out Skechers. Their shoes are under $100 ! Perhaps then I won't feel so bad about being ripped off. Lucky to have Zappos because they make returns so easy. Five star to Zappos, zero stars to Hoka One One!

Falling apart! I have had these shoes for only 5 months and wore them minumailly and the fabric is ripping everywhere - the side, the back - they look like they are 5 years old. My other Hoka - the Mach 2 - I have had for 2-1/2 years - were all the time, rain, hiking, dirt and they look better and have no shoes.
