This shoe feels so lightweight and the cushioning is very comfortable! I'd say I have a pretty average arch, where I like some support but the shoes with pronounced arch support will hurt my feet. This was perfect for me, and probably flatter-footed people; but if you like a lot of arch support this may not be for you.
I wore it around the house to try it out, and after a couple hours, I could feel the pressure of the tongue/upper pressing into the dorsal part of my foot. By the time I took them off, my feet took a few minutes for the circulation to return to normal. Perhaps because it's leather, there's less give. So if you've ever had that issue with other shoes, it might also come up with this pair. Also, the pull tab at the back was kind of annoying in conjunction with my scrub pants. The tab sticks out horizontally, so my hem would get caught on top of the tab every time I got up from sitting, which looks messy.
That said, the cushioning for the soles of my feet was wonderful. It was true to size and there's lots of space in the toe box. If it weren't for the upper issue, I could definitely see myself wearing these for a full day on my feet and feeling very well supported. I'd still give it a try. I did like it, but the gripes I had with it were a dealbreaker considering the price.

This shoe is wonderful !! I have hip and knee issues and this shoe allows me to walk. And because it is leather and not cloth, my foot can not move around in the shoe. My foot is stationary, and my heel gets the cushion it needs. There is ample room in the toe box for my toes to be comfortable. In a NB shoe I wear a 2 EE or double ex wide. In the Hoka I wear my normal 7 1/2 medium width, or whatever this shoe comes in. Hoka had a similar shoe years back and they discontinued it and nothing else worked for me. So happy, they brought back the sole and the new design is nice tool Thank you, Hoka One One !

I love my HOKAS! I work as a nursing tech in a hospital and I am also in nursing school. I got my first pair of hokas for work and decided to purchase this pair for school. Hoka saves my back from 12 hour shifts on my feet. I highly recommend these to anyone that is on their feet for long periods of time. Worth the price.

I had the Bondi 7 before and really loved the comfort they provided for working 12hour days, but eventually they looked used up and then the material tore where the shoe met the sole. To replace them I went back and forth between the Bondi Sr and leather Brooks... so I got both. Bondi is definitely larger and roomier and has better cushioning so for me this is more comfortable. The size of the shoe is bigger and chunkier though, so the look is not for everyone, but chunky shoes are fashionable now and it work alright for my office, but not formal dress job. If my work wasn't so casual I would probably still be able to pull off the Brooks shoe, but not sure about the Bondi.

I love my Bondi leather shoes and I have been looking to get some new ones. The only white version is this SR. Stiff, squeaky, and high collar around the ankle that hit in just the wrong places. The leather looks synthetic. They made my feet look gigantic because of the hugely wide sole. Really really did not like them at all and returned. I hope they do not plan to phase out the regular Bondi leather. But ti looks like we are moving to either SR or LR. That would make me very sad.

One of the lightest, most comfortable shoes I own. I don't run often but I walk around the city quite a bit. An absolute staple in my wardrobe and I 'll definitely be buying more.

I wear these shoes 5 days a week and while they aren't the coolest looking chef shoe (certainly cooler than Crocs!) they are comfortable and supportive as heck. I've worked as a professional chef for 7 years, working upwards of 50-60 hour weeks. Even after wearing these shoes all day my feet are able to get those extra errands or even a light workout in after the work day is all said and done, pain free! I was using Skechers before this and the support, fit and most of all the non-slip grip on the BondiSRs could straight up disqualify Skechers. I haven't slipped at all and the larger shoe base keeps me stable. I changed the insoles to some a bit more arch supportive (I am almost flat footed and need some support) Price is a bit steep but it's been an investment for the field that I'm in. I got a half size larger than my normal size but I think these run true to size and a 10 would have been just fine. Almost no break-in period! This is my second pair of HOKAs and I'm already looking at my 3rd for trail running.

Bought these for nursing school and so far they've been really comfy! I can feel them get a little uncomfy for standing in one place too long but walking around and being active I forget they're on my feet. It took me a while to work up to buying this but I decided comfort was well worth the price. I just wish there were more deals on the shoes since these ended up being around $170. I wear 10 in most shoes for comfort but a friend told me to size down and so I ordered a 9.5 and they fit fine with regular socks. The 10 would have been too clunky I think.

I'm on my 3rd pair of Hokas and I LOVE them ! I'm an RN and I work 12h shifts. When I bought my 1st pair, a few of us had them, now ALMOST EVERYONE, from every discipline in the hospital, including Doctors, are wearing them. I finally convinced my husband to spend the money to buy a pair. He builds helicopters for a living and the concrete he walks on all day is EXTREMELY dense to support the weight of the aircraft. He never really had much to say about them, until the day he forgot to wear them. He said, by lunch, his knees were hurting and that's when he realized, he didn't wear his Hokas to work. He only made that mistake once ! When our son's foot stops growing, he will be getting his 1st pair. I not only would recommend them to a friend, I HAVE recommend them to many friends and colleagues ! The plush insole is my favorite ! It just sells itself... ya'll really should start marketing to the hardworking people who wear your shoes... just sayin'...

I have always had feet problems. Can't wear heals or even flats. New job has a cement floor and even more painful in the best shoes. Now I can't wear any other shoe! So comfy! Now I can't take my feet out of flip flops when I'm home! Love!!!!

I am a letter carrier with a 13 mile walking route with Plantar Fasciitis. I did not have to break these shoes in at all, has helped my foot pain immensely. I wish that Hokas were a part of our work shoe offerings. I would highly recommend this shoe.

I bought these for my mom who is almost 60 and decided to start working again. She also has a foot injury from the hospital bed she needs for her mother who is in her 80s and she takes care of, fell on her foot. She cries almost every time she sees me and thanks for the shoes because they are helping her so much. Im at peace because I've been so worried about her feet. So glad these shoes are helping her even just a little bit.

These shoes have proved to be very effective for my feet! I'm really happy with the support and cushion between my feet and the ground. My feet are very comfortable in these Bondi Sr gym shoes, I like the bright white w/o any distractions of other color. True to size I wear a size 9.....

Purchased these sneakers after some research about wearing supportive sneakers that would help in my recovery after sustaining a fracture and several sprains to my left foot. I haven’t gotten out of my aircast boot quite yet, but the support it has been providing my right foot during this delicate time and the amount of cushion it has provides my right foot assistance during this important process of healing. Also, I did wear it once on the affected foot during therapy on the bike and it didn’t fail with support, even with slight swelling. ??????????
now concerned about not having even support when it’s time to wear them both…. ????? still no regrets??
ps. toes are very roomy
pss. my right sneaker are more used due to having to always wear the aircast until I regain my heal to toe mobility.

I am a letter carrier for the USPS and all of the regulation shoes are heavy and have destroyed my feet. These Hokas (first pair I’ve ever owned) have tons of cushion and extremely supportive. They are not the most attractive, but function before style!

I'm 67, overweight, work 12 hour shifts as a Respiratory Therapist. These shoes are so amazing and so comfortable. At the end of my shift I have no foot aches or anything. Love these shoes!

I have a great deal of arthritis in my left foot and use custom orthotics to minimize the bones moving. This shoe has just the right amount of cushioning and support - not too soft, just right and very supportive. My pain is tolerable. I may have to consider an alternative way of lacing on one of them as I am plagued with cysts/calcifications on top of that foot that the laces can compress and irritate. I wear these every day, so when they wear out, I will be replacing them with another pair.

I use these shoes for everyday walking and shopping. At the end of my day I was expecting my feet to feel like I hadn't been walking or shopping. My feet felt the same way as if I had on any other pair of tennis shoes.

The size and width is true to size. (My first pair of Hoka One One)
This shoe is not all that. I’m a mail carrier and always looking for comfort and I thought this shoe would be it. But for ME it was a waste of $172. I really wished I had return them but I had to least use them for a couple of days to test them out.

These are not cute shoes and I don’t expect them to be. I expect them to keep my feet comfortable and supported at work in a warehouse where I easily log 4+ miles a day in our slow season. I am buying my 5th pair of these and have zero complaints. My plantar fasciitis does not flair up when I wear these and that is worth the price.

I am a postal worker on my feet for 8 hours plus a day and on concrete floors.
These shoes were recommended to me by a co worker and I absolutely love them! I have arch issues and when I don't wear these shoes my feet are in agony. These shoes are worth every penny.

I bought these shoes for my part time kitchen job. Slip resistant and comfy, however, the toe box is really big. Shoes only come in one width. They look odd with my slim jeans so I have to wear bootcut jeans.

I absolutely loved these shows when I first got them. They were comfortable and had the support I was looking for. The slip resistant bottoms work good. I work 8 hour shifts as a server. I'd come home and my feet, ankles, knees and back weren't hurting. And for all this I'd love to give them 5 stars.
I'm now six months into owning these shoes. Within about 2-3 months, the heel support in one of the shoes started breaking down. Threads are now starting to come loose at the toe. The insoles and starting to come apart. I really hoped with these shoes costing almost $200 that they would have lasted a lot longer than 6 months.
