I have owned 5 pairs of Bondi 6's. I have huge issues with my feet and my Doctor recommended these shoes to try and they were amazing. I am on my feet 12-16 hrs a day and running all the time. Now that they a have come out with the Bondi 7 I have tried 2 pairs and both are horribly uncomfortable on my feet. Huge difference between the 6 and 7. I really loved my old shoes and I really hope Hoka brings back the Bondi 6 at this point ( SADLY) I have no choice but to find another type of shoe
Disappointed,

Attention Bondi 6 lovers with flat feet: size up at least 1/2. I've been wearing HOKA Bondi's since my beloved 4's finally gave out and I finally got the 6. LOVED the Bondi 6, wore out two pairs and just purchased the 7. HOKA what happened to the wonderfully generous round toe box and ultra cushiony feel? Had to return my 8.5's and exchange them for 9 just to fit into them, and the 9's are just MEH. The toe box is narrower and more pointy and there is a decided lack of plush to the 7's. HOKA if you're listening, please return to the Bondi's signature plushness and big generous round toe box.

This is the fourth pair I have purchased so obviously I am a fan of Hokka. But I have only had this pair two months and the bottom is coming off. Also the black on the front is not looking even anymore. I only wear them to work in an office. I also am having plantar fasciitis pain with this pair. I have never had it with the ones I have bought before. Rethinking my loyalty!!!!

No problem with fit. Shoes did not have enough cushion for me. Not the fault of the shoe. Liked the shoe and fit.

Unfortunately they weren't a good fit for me - I need wide toe box, but narrow heel.

I've been a Bondi fan since Bondi 4. I bought 5 pairs of Bondi 6, fearing that my size (13 wide) would go out of stock. Sadly, Bondi 7 doesn't live up to the amazing Bondi 6.
First, the good news. The cushioning is still very good, almost as good as the Bondi 6.
But there are two issues for me: 1. The top of the shoe at the ball of the foot seems to be cut narrower than in earlier versions. 2. And the bigger problem, made worse by the narrow cut, is that the tongue is quite uncomfortable. I've been trying various solutions, like loosening the laces, but nothing has worked so far. The tongue of a shoe is important, and it's strange to me that a company like Hoka would create a shoe with an uncomfortable tongue.
Here's hoping the Bondi 8 is better.

I bought these shoe because they were recommended by my Podiatrist. They rub blisters on my feet and cause sever pain in my arch. I had previously bought a pair of Hoka and they also rubbed blisters and caused sever pain in my toes, so I though maybe they were to narrow . Then I ordered another pair. A wider pair. Not much difference.

I have seen Hoka bondi being recommended for people with high arch who suffer with plantar fasciitis. Sadly, the bondi 7 were not it for me. They cut into my arch too much and made my feet hurt on the inner part from the arch to the heel. I did like that it kept my foot stable while standing as I tend to roll my feet outward while standing. In the end I returned them for the Gaviota 3, which also did not work.

I am a 7 medium. These felt too narrow and the arch insole was extremely uncomfortable. It felt like it was cutting into my foot.

Returned these after walking 5 steps in them. The tongue of the shoe is very odd and curves to the left and right. I could feel it pushing into my front of my ankle and realized any walking in these and I would have chafe marks in about 2 minutes. Sad because the rest of the show was comfortable.

A very comfortable shoe but with no arch support. Literally flat. Sending back. What a shame that a shoe engineered for ultimate support & cushion has zero arch support. Doesn’t companies field test anymore? Agree that color schemes need improvement also. Please get better Hoka. I’d like to try again.

The Bondi 7 fit me perfectly in 9W. (I also wear a 9W in Brooks Ghost.) I've never worn Hoka's before, so I can't compare the Bondi 7 to the 6. These shoes are super-cushioned, which is what I expected. I wore them in the house for a few hours & had no complaints at all. However, when I hit the road (walking) the magical comfort started to fade after about 2 miles. For miles 3 & 4, I was feeling discomfort at the arches - like they were too high & stiff for me: odd because I have very high arches. But what was much worse, was the fact that the insoles don't fit properly. They're too narrow for the shoe, so there's a gap between the insole & the shoe, just under the ball of my foot in both shoes. The stiff edge of the insole rubs against the skin (again - just under the edge of the ball of my foot). So during this first wearing, I developed a painful callus at the lower/outer edge of the ball of each foot. I waited 2 weeks for the skin to heel, then went out again. Same thing happened after ~2 miles. Returned home in pain, & sadness, that these shoes were not going to work. But Zappos is the best, so I'm going to order some more Brooks Ghost in their latest model. Yay!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Ghost, Cole Haan, Rockport, Aquatalia

The Bondi 7s are nothing like the Bondi 6s. I have the men's 6s. Raved about them to my wife who has back and knee issues, but they are discontinued so I purchased the 7s. I was severely disappointed. Whoever made the decision to change from the plush cushioned comfort as well as approved it, in my opinion, really missed the mark. HOKA makes great shoes overall. We will continue to support the brand, just not the 7s. Hopefully the 8s will be back to being the most comfortable shoe again.

Love these shoes, but will have to return. Have worn various model Hokas for 10 years--about 28-30 pairs in all. Have worn same size, same socks, same orthotics, same everything, on the same terrain... but this shoe is agony. After 20 minutes my left foot shifts forward against the side of the toe box, creating some truly ungodly blisters. After trying differnt socks, diferent orthotics, lancing multiple blisters every night for a week and being unable to run more than 2 miles, I'm done. Seeing podiatrist tomorrow. Great-looking shoe, wanted to love it but there's some kind of structural flaw here.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but I only gave this 2 stars because the heel was much higher than the toe. I suffer from not only heel pain but also metatarsalgia (pain in the bottom of the forefoot). Because of these two pain problems I need a shoe with zero drop, i.e., the forefoot and heel of the shoe are the same distance from the ground. From reading the description of these shoes, I thought there would be less of a differential between heel and toe. Wrong. For someone w/o pain in the forefoot, these would probably be fine, but not for me. I also ordered some Altras that are deep enough to accommodate the full length orthotics I need, but I'll have to see if I can get some made for these, as my current orthotics are too wide in the heel for Altras.

I ordered these shoes after a recommendation from my physical therapist. I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis. When they I arrived I thought they were cute, as did my daughter. The cushioning, arch support, and roomy toes were awesome. They looked pretty good on my feet, which surprised me because I thought they would look heavy or clunky. I just wanted relief and to be able to walk again. Unfortunately, I have to send them back because there is a rough edge that runs the length of the inside insole at the arch that was pressing and cutting into my foot. I don't know if this issue is just this particular shoe or in all of them. I may order a different style? Not sure yet. I was so hoping they would be the ones!

I really cannot even wear these. I choose this for the arch support. I usually wear Clifton’s. Quite disappointed.
I'd also recommend:

The wide width is not wide enough. Bottom support is very comfortable but my foot is being squeezed on both sides. Must return.

I bought these because they were promoted as being super supportive. I guess they can give the illusion of supportive by might the arch so darn high. As long as I am running (on the balls of my feet), they are fine. But the second I start walking, the arches are so uncomfortable, I hate the shoe. And I do not have flat feet, but a very normal foot. Will not buy again.

I really love these trainers! They are extremely supportive and excellent for recovery days, etc. However, sadly after less than a month of ownership, I have a hole in the memory foam of one of the heels. Not the end of the world, but for the price point, it is a pit disappointing.

Toe box on the Bondi 7 is so narrow. I'm so disappointed! The old design was so great...the Bondi 7 has less cushion and a very narrow toe box which causes pain when running. Several of my friends have expressed the same disappointment in the Bondi 7. The biggest complaint...the shoe is to narrow at toe.

Felt like a very chunky/clunky shoe; the stack height was too high and the sole was not flexible. It also had minimal arch support-I have fairly high arches, but this shoe felt like there wasn't any support under my arches. I tried the Hoka One One Akasa and that was much more comfortable for me.

Bondi 7 feels very stiff. Less padding. Not really comfortable at all. Probably will return them.
