I use these shoes for everyday wear and for work. I work in the nursing department at my hospital and wear these for 12 to 16 hours shifts and my feet barely hurt at the end of them. I have tried every kind of shoe known to man including brooks and these are the only ones that have helped my plantar fascitis and my high arches. These shoes make me feel like I am on a little trampoline with all the cushion that they give me.

I'll start by saying that I ordered this shoe in the black with white sole in an 8 wide. I don't wear a wide shoe in any brand other than Hoka. Needing a wide in the Cliftons and Challengers, I assumed I needed a wide in the Bondi 7. Well, I think the normal width in the Bondi 7 would have been fine because it seems to run a bit wider than the other models. I'm keeping the wide though to save myself the hassle of exchanging by mail. The shoe also runs slightly longer than other Hoka models. 8 is my true size, and I'd say the 8 in the Hoka fits perfect length-wise, with just a tad more space between my toes and the end of the shoe than my other size 8s. I'm could get away with a 7.5, but I like the extra toe room of the 8. I'd say the 8 in the Bondi 7 fits more like an 8.5 in Nike, Altra, and many other shoes. I think that it's safe to say that this shoe, had I not ordered it in wide would have been true to size. Now, as for comfort, I can't ask for anything more. I have a slender heel, average midfoot, and slightly wide forefoot and these shoes feet so well. They hug my feet and are so well cushioned without being too spongey. They do not rub anywhere on my foot. The looks were quite questionable upon seeing them in the box. They do look very wide because of the way the large sole angles out from the shoe. My sister said they look like orthotic shoes. BUT, they look so much better once they are on your foot. I was afraid they'd look too bulky and clumsy with my athletic wear, but not bad at all.

Ok. I bought these, actually held out from the 6, to see if the color options approved. First, the color schemes can and should be so much better, hello 2020. Secondly, worth the hype and price? I have plantar fasciitis and work in a hospital on the worst floors, so I had all the hopes of clouds. Nope. I have less to no arch support and my right ankle was weird after the first day. After the second day of wearing, I could barely walk from my foot pain. I'm super confused. Am I just getting use to them or are they just not for me? I'm going to reluctantly try again and see how it goes, but it nervous.

I have chronic lyme disease causing neuropathy in my feet. Hokas have changed my life. The Bondi 6 were my favorite, but now its the Bondi 7. They are so comfortable. I walk dogs for a living. In these shoes my feet are very happy.

I have flat arches, no fat pads left, narrow feet and bad ankles and love to walk. A pair of Bondi 5s were given to me as a gift so I've gone from 5 to 7. They give me great cushioning, stability and support. What else is there? Great colors, yes, that too.

Loved my 6s to death... these 7s however are trash. My 6s that I've had for months feel more plush and cushioned than the brand new 7s. I also don't like how the toe in these is super pointed instead of being rounded like the previous. What the heck, hoka? Returning immediately. Looking forward to starting my search for decent walking shoes all over again!

As a bit of a Goldilocks when it comes to footwear, I have found the (nearly) perfect running/walking shoe for me in the Bondi 7. Due to a few past injuries & surgeries, my supination, and an uninvited guest, plantar fasciitis, that just won't leave, I now do brisk walks interspersed with running intervals (15-30 miles/week). After unsuccessfully trying other styles and several different brands, I say with conviction that Hoka's Bondi 7 is the only pair of kicks that truly gives me the cushioning and arch support that I need. Additionally, I'm VERY thankful that the Bondi 7 works for supination instead of over-pronation. (There seem to be far more shoes designed to address the latter. I'm not sure how an over-pronator would feel in the 7s.) FYI/in case someone has a similar issue, please note that although I do not have truly wide feet and actually have a medium-to-narrow heel, I bought another pair of the Bondi 7s in "wide" to accommodate a bunion/bone spur on the ball of my right foot, and I prefer the feel of the wider width--although I can wear either the medium or the wide comfortably. Regarding the appearance of Hoka's shoes, I don't think that they're too goofy--besides, who really cares if wearing them avoids insufferable pain? (As an aside, I do have a pair of the lower-profile Hoka One One Akasas, which I sometimes wear for quick jaunts to the Farmer's Market, grocery store, etc., but which do not provide as much traction or cushion.). Good luck to all of you shoe-hunters-and-gathers who seek a pair of sneaks that will embrace your feet--or at least will not exacerbate any pre-existing pain!

My 18 year-old daughter loves these shoes! She works at Walmart and wears her Hokas for eight hours and her feet never bother her. I wish there was a Hoka for her attitude-it needs a bit of an adjustment from time to time. Lol. But seriously, Hokas are wonderful-I'm a personal trainer/athlete, and I workout seven days a week. I have seven different pairs of Hokas (from Arahi to Bondi to Gaviota). I recommend Hoka to all of my clients, as well!

I love the cushy sole of the Bondi 7 and the fact the toe box is wider than the previous model. My feet size is 6.5, have very high arches and wide feet. I ordered size 7, regular, as I like to feel my shoes more secure around my foot rather than having extra room for my foot to slide to the side or risk spraying my ankle. I also placed the green Super Feet inserts and the shoes fit great and my toes are not crammed in. I use them for walking and when my plantar fasciitis is acting up. I'm a female, 5' 7", 147 lbs.

While the Bondi 7 still provides a great cushioned footbed ,it fits differently overall. The heel grip is now built for a wider heel (see photo of Bondi 6,in purple v Bondi 7, in black. Laced correctly, my heel has slipped out of the Bondi 7. The Bondi 6 was much better for a narrower heel. I wont be purchasing another pair of the 7's.

There is no doubt that the Bondi 7 has the most wonderful foot bed however, I got one pair that feels amazing and I wanted a second pair in a different color for work but (like the previous bondi 6 had) there is an area in the arch that causes a lot of painful pressure which I highlighted in my attached photo. It feels like a hard piece of wood in the shoe on the inside of the side of my foot right at the arch area. The highlighted areas in my picture is of what causes the pain and this piece that curves up in that area of the side of your foot is super hard with an almost sharp edge. My other pair that I bought at the same time is softer in that area. I don't understand the inconsistency but, I really want and need another pair for work so I may try one more time to purchase another one. Just for the record I wear a size 7/7/2 and an 8 in sneakers and my foot is slender so it's not an issue of me needing a wide which I went ahead and bought a wide to try to see if it would fix this situation and it did not. I bought a pair for my husband and he LOVES them! And does not have the problem I'm having with my second pair.

The fit and size worked well for me. I had reconstructive surgery on my right foot and was worried about my foot not fitting due to swelling. I was able to wear these. These were recommended by my orthopedic surgeon and they haven’t disappointed me. I am able to wear these instead of my medical boot. They give great support for my weak ankle and they are cushioned enough to help my heel feel comfortable. Love this shoe! Highly recommend. Especially to those learning to walk again.

I have been a runner/hiker for 40+ years, and the Hoka Bondi 7 is by far the best shoe I've ever worn. I also have titanium in one hip and with these I do not have any pain. Well done, Hoka One One!

These are nothing like the Bondi 6. They feel flat and stiff. My feet hurt so badly I switched to wearing my Cliftons. I will try to add inserts to make them work but I am not happy with these. They look nice, but feel more like Brooks - very stiff.

I have bunions, and I like that the Bondi is a wider shoe in the toe box area versus the Clifton, but overall, they run a half size large like the 6's did.
I ordered my usual size 9 in these, but my toe kept rubbing against the seam near the top- which is placed about a thumbnail's distance from the tip of the shoe!! Will be returning for an 8.5. This may fit more snug and thus prevent this issue, I'm hoping.
Love the vibrant, pretty color.

Hoka One One has COMPLETELY eliminated my heel spur and my plantar fasciitis. This has been my "go to shoe" for many many years. I have tried other Hoka's but nothing feels as good as my One One's. They have terrific arch support (I also have a fallen arch, geez) and is just a sharp looking ladies shoe. I have friends that laugh at my One One's because of the large heel, you know what??? I don't give a flyn' flip! These are the world's greatest shoe and my loser friends can laugh all the want. My feet feel terrific!

This is my 4th pair of the Bondi and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I am a RN in the OR who is often on my feet for long periods of time. The Bindi has provided great support and comfort during my working hours. Yes, I highly recommend them for working and exercising. They are the most comfortable shoe I have experienced.

Sigh. I have been a loyal Hoka Bondi customer for 4+ years. I was just about to hang up my running “career” due to knee pain when Hoka’s entered my life. They were life changing. For my knees anyway! I have purchased new shoes every year and have always been happy with the new version. Until the Bondi 7. There is something about the fit that seems off. They seem wider. Maybe just the toe box? And I also feel that my feet tend to pronate more with the Bondi 7. I’ve had my shoes for a few weeks. I have to say they are OK, but I may be looking for a different brand sooner than later.

Definitely a lot of marshmallow type support on the bottom. Great arch support. Great for people with bunions, plantar fasciitis, hammer toes, torn plantar plates and Achilles tendonitis (I am a nurse and have all of these). I have been wearing the Clintons for 3 years now, after I tore my plantar plate. The Clintons are great-I actually like them better than the Bondis. But, to be honest, Hoka has so few colours in the wide sizes, I decided to go with this shoe because I liked the colour. I've only worn them around the house so we'll see how a full 12 hour shift goes!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Dyad wide sizes only-they run narrow

So comfy!!!
My usual size is 9.5 so I first ordered a size 10 but it was HUGE! Size 9 fits fine. I'm surprised because I can rarely fit in a 9.

I just bought these shoes from Fleet Feet and they feel AMAZING! I will say that you have to make sure you also buy the correct insoles. Fleet Feet did a 3D scan of my feet & had me walk across some sort of sensor to measure my pressure points which helped them determine which shoes and insoles would best suit me. I currently work for Amazon... been there since March of this year and I’ve gone through about 6, very expensive, pairs of shoes. After having to take a brief leave of absence because the pain in my legs and feet had gotten so bad, I went back to work and on my SECOND day back, I was ready to tap out again... until one of the safety workers recommended I go check out Fleet Feet. I WENT THE NEXT DAY!!! On a pain scale of 1-10.. 137 being where I started (lol), I’m now at a tolerable 3.. That’s probably because I’m still breaking them in.. These are not pretty (sorry lol) but they feel SO GOOD on my feet! I’m definitely ordering another pair as soon as they’re back in stock in the color I want. One last thing, I think I saw someone mention that there’s no ankle support.. I bought an ankle support brace and it helps tremendously! Seriously, one last thing... I had my feet measured and my left foot is a 10.1 & my right is a 10.5.. the lady at the store told me to get an 11.. It doesn’t look bad because I’m 6 feet tall but it does feel a little weird.. like I’m walking around in clown shoes.. but for real these shoes are great! Sorry about the Fleet Feet advertisement Zappos.. but I work for Amazon.. They’re the ones who sent me there! Lol

I am usually a 7.5 but I got measured at the store, it was suggested that I get an 8. They fit PERFECTLY!!! I have plantar fasciitis & have been suffering for longer than I would like to admit. These Hoka's are HELPING!!! I will be buying these shoes again when it is time! Maybe in PURPLE if that color is available.

I have a bad back and have had a lot of trouble finding shoes that I can run in without increasing the pain. I did have to return to get a "wide," though I have never needed a wide before. I think the shoes run a bit narrow. Running in these shoes is a dream. My body feels great, my arches supported, my knees protected, even running long distances on pavement. They are great for walking around or running errands as well. The black on black is a slick look as well. People keep telling me Iook trendy.
