i love these shoes. Comfortable for long runs. The only comments I would make are that they will probably be best liked by people familiar with Altras. It’s a unique brand with their wide toe box and if you have never tried it, I would try a different shoe to introduce your self to the brand, which is very unique to the shoe market. Altra’s tend to feel bigger and bulkier and this is the biggest and bulkiest shoe from Altra I have had so not a great intro. Also, Altra’s have been my go to running shoe for several years and I have always worn the same size, but with the Paradigms I was in a 1/2 size smaller. Altra’s get a lot of reviews about sizing challenges and this is the first time I’ve dealt with it, but clearly run a half size big. Once I got my size, however, I love the shoe

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Altras are the only shoes I can wear, anymore. Wide toebox allows my feet to spread out, yet the heel holds tight to avoid rubbing and blisters. Can't recommend this brand enough.

I love the Altra products that have "foot shape" toe boxes! I have fairly large feet and my toes want to expand to fit the toe box. The Paradigms allow them to do that and provide a comfortable ride.

Altra shoes are the best shoes for me. Wide toe box, lots of padding, comfortable. I love them.

Only shoes I can run in pain free due to a morton's nueroma and a bunion. Nice wide toe box. Highly recommend for wide feet or anyone wanting some room for those toes!!

Amazing feel

I sent them back because this 9 1/2 was larger than the last Altra 9 1/2 size I ordered.

Tried these right on when they arrived. Good fit and generous width. Very good cushion. Wore all day and have no complaints. Altra have been my go to shoes because of the great design. Large toe box for a 4e size foot. If you need room for your wide foot don’t be afraid to try this brand.

I’ve got an LA heal with Oakland toes, so this shoe has got me back to running.

Great fit . Very good cushion. Like the color. Have been a fan of Altra shoes for several year and many different styles. Will continue my support for this brand as long as I find a style that fits my needs.

Awesome shoe feels like walking on clouds. I've always been an Altra fan because of the fit. Just a great shoe.

Took usual altra size. Nice toe box .

So far I am pretty happy with these. As a large runner this really is a great shoe to transition to zero drop. I pushed a bit too fast and had some calf pain so I had to slow my transition a bit. Only downside is the build quality is no where near as nice as the big brands but the zero drop, cushion, support and foot shape make this the only choice for me. Word to Altra, if any of the larger shoe companies move into this space, your shoes are not going to be able to compete due to such poor build quality. My Brooks make these look like they are made by children but they work.

I have six pair of these for running and work. I have 4E feet with narrow heel and the fit great

The shoes fit well and allow plenty of room in the toe box for my feet. I use custom orthotics and they fit well in the shoe.

shoes are great, fit is perfect. Plan to order another pair.

The shoes are lightweight and don't cause any pressure points on my feet like so many other brands I've tried over the years. I do from 5-10 miles of aggressive walking every day and only need to see how many miles I can put on them before I'm totally convinced they're worth the sticker price.
