Originally planned on just wearing this thermal as a base layer when Nordic and downhill skiing, but decided to wear it on a 20 degree long run without any extra layers to see if I could feel the wind and cold touch my skin through the knitting. So happy to discover that not only was it the perfect top to wear for running in such conditions, but the longer length didn't ride up my waist, and I never felt wet, chilled, or cold from the air. Such a versatile top for multiple activities or just to wear around town.

As a base layer for warmth it is the best! Damp, cold seasonal changes, and I'm in it daily. If layering I can even feel "dressed" when I strip down to the base layer if the day warms up, because I love the colors and patterns. I would also love this if made with a scoop neck.

Love the fit and the colors. I'm a Medium size, this is ideal for me (size Large label) as I wear this as a warm shirt rather than a base layer. The length is long, so I fold it up a little. Otherwise it's sooo good!!!

I love my new smart wool base layer! It kept me warm (along with some other layers) on a snowmobiling trip through Yellowstone. I am trying to buy more clothing with natural fabrics such as wool. I could have worn a small but chose the medium to have a bit of a looser fit. The striped pattern is really cute too to go with my new smart wool leggings.

Im using these base layers for downhill skiing. Suitable for other outdoor winter sports on cold days i.e. cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. they are comfortable enough to wear around the house but nice and warm.

I really enjoyed wearing this thermal base layer for two days of skiing. It regulated my temperature, sweat, and body odor in varying temperatures and humidity conditions in Killington, Vermont that ranged from 10 degrees to 45 degrees Fahrenheit with high winds and rain. I found that the base layer wicked my sweat away well so I didn't even need to remove my shell or mid layers when I went inside the lodge during my afternoon breaks. The small fit me snugly and I am 5'6", 115 lb, 32B. I wore the top two days in a row and had no issues with odor at all.

I live upstate NY and I started wearing these for skiing. Now I wear them as everyday tops all winter. If you live where it's wintry, you need these!

This was a gift for my daughter-in-law. She loved the fit and the color. She was very happy to receive it! I was impressed and wouldn't hesitate to gift it again or purchase for myself.

Having never purchased a smartphone base this is lighter and thinner than I expected, but I don't think that will make it less warm since. Fits great, will be easy to move in, and will layer great for skiing.

Love these Intraknit tops with diff colors. They are so cool and definitely stand out in the world of outdoor active clothing. I wear these for hiking primarily though also enjoy just wearing them for casual wear. Get lots of compliments. I usually wear S in Smartwools full merino base layers, but I find these fit a little tighter. M is fine for me, but I bought this in L. Doesn’t look baggy at all. Just a little looser.

I generally love Smartwool base layers. This one is by far my favorite. It's more sweater than base layer; at least I have been wearing it as such because the different textures give it a little more formal of a look. I love the navy and deep orange combo.

I love the length of the shirt and sleeves - good for tucking in to ski pants! This is a very soft base layer and it looks great apres.
