Bought these for my 3 year old grandson with Down's Syndrome. His physical therapist said these were excellent shoes for him. Good ankle support yet flexible and a wide toe box. Glad I was able to provide something so useful for him.

My son loves these boots. I love how easy they are to get on and off. They have a nice wide toe box and are super cute.

These are super easy to get on a wiggly foot and they are adorable. They are made well and my little guy seems to enjoy them. True to size.

It is a fantastic kid's boot. My grandson's favorite and has gone through two pair.

These shoes are amazing! They're so easy to get on and really durable. My little girl goes through shoes so quickly but these have really lasted.

I ought these for my grandson and they are great and so easy to get on and off! He seems to really like them because he doesn't fuss about putting them on.

I bought these for my active, adventurous little two-year-old. They have held up exceptionally, and she loves them! The Velcro sides, make it nice for her to be able to put on herself. They do well in wet conditions keeping her little feet warm and dry. I'm very pleased with these!

My 2yo loves his boots. He has many shoes and these are always the only pair he loves. I bought a 2nd pair because he outgrew his first pair. They are tough and well built..he has splashed through many puddles and ran outside with them and they have withstood all of that. Also, he usually kicks his shoes off when he gets home, these are the only pair that he doesn't want to take off

These boots are adorable and functional. They seem to have great traction for hiking. My toddler is comfortable in them and I got some wool socks to help him stay warmer since these aren't insulated. However, they aren't great for rain. Definitely not puddle-proof. We have different rain boots for that. Great for Eastern Oregon, not so great for Western Oregon.

Perfect shoe for my 1.5 to 2 year old all fall/spring/winter. He had a separate pair of winter boots for very cold days, and ran around happily in these the rest of the time. Will buy again this year.

I have bought every size and half size in these for my son. He loves them! Please make them in big kid sizes!!

we accidentally ordered a size up, so ordered the next size down. we loved them so much, we just kept both. haha. our toddler is verrry active, and he also hiked in colorado with these. they're so versatile that we also had him wear them to church. they are such great quality that now our younger (also verrry active) son wears the smaller pair. i agree with another review that they are not exactly "bare" for barefoot shoe lovers, but they do have a wide toe and were one of the easiest shoes for our toddlers to first walk in. a lot of the reviews on these are actually for two other boots merrell used to sell, so...kind of misleading on the rating/review-front.

My granddaughter loves these! Took her on her first official hike in these. There will be more. Easy for her to put on and take off.

I love these boots for my toddler!! They are stylish AND functional enough that they serve multiple purposes (he wears them as hiking boots, play shoes, and even nicer dress shoes in winter). I found the size chart accurate and they are very easy to put on. I only buy shoes with a wide toe box and flexible/zero drop sole, and these are pretty good in all those categories for the price. My only complaint is that they keep selling out, and I want them to keep making the Bare Steps line in more colors and styles!

My toddler loves them and can get himself in and out of these boots. They work for playing all day at daycare or holiday pictures.
