I've been desperately trying to hold together my ancient ECCO BIOM trail shoes because I couldn't find anything, ECCO or otherwise, to replace them. But these new ECCO trainers more than fit the bill - and my feet. Very supportive and sturdy, but with a cushiony footbed, and the soft uppers don't cut into my arthritic big toe knuckles. I recently developed plantar fasciitis and these trainers provide the perfect support and cushioning. I only wish they had more colors. I got the Wild Dove/Buff and they look fine.

After reading the other reviews I decided to get these anyway as I have several pair of ECCO BIOM shoes. My older shoes didn't prepare me for these. They are HEAVY and stiff. The are true to my size 8.5 feet but the heel did slip a bit although I just tried them on and back in the box for return. I found them clunky looking and stiff.

I always like the BIOM line by ECCO and search for them when needing new athletic shoes. This AEX Trainer is the best yet.

Great looking walking shoe. It fits like glove. Have a narrow foot and there are not gaps anywhere. Need a shoe that has a high toe box, to accommodate my feet. No complaints!

Love these! Should have purchased again instead of hokas.

The shoe fits well. I usually wear a 9.5. Good arch support. Works well as a bike shoe because it is on the stiff side.

The shoe was a little stiff at first but loosened up when walking around the house. I trekked up a high hill yesterday without any foot pain. Another ECCO win!!! LOVE my new shoes:)!

GREAT shoes!! ECCO are so comfortable right out of the box! Well built shoe, sturdy, not super light, but great for training, and dropping to the ground for spontaneous floor work on the toes! Finally found a trainer with sturdy, protected toe, and still has easy lateral movement. (Not just a trail runner, but you could still use it as one). LOVE this shoe, can’t say enough good about it!

I love these shoes. I am sending them back only because I thought I was getting a blue shoe. These are a dark green. For those who like dark green, you will love them. They are also leather free. A very well made solid shoe. Stable with very good arch support. Zappos service is always excellent. Thank you.

The shoe is well-made, perhaps too much so, there was not enough give for my foot, the sides pinched my average sized foot. I had to return.

The shoe was not the right fit for the kind of workout I needed it for. It was heavy. Way too heavy for a workout shoe, and I think it was way too heavy for me to use as a walking shoe. I love ECCO sandals so I thought I would love these. Nope

I liked the shoe very much but the toe box was quite narrow and pointy which compressed my toes together in an uncomfortable manner so I returned them. Thanks for making returns so painless!

Very comfortable but sent back because I disliked style. Shoe was photographed from outside view and looked fine but if you see shoe from inside angle it is very bulky looking with heavy sole.

Not thrilled, especially for the price. They feel rather ‘blocky’. The style is just adorable but they don’t feel cushiony enough for me and they offer so much support that it almost feels like my feet are doing no work at all. That does not appeal to me. I’ve only worn them twice so maybe I will change my mind after they’re broken in but these days I feel like shoes should fit perfectly immediately and should not need to be broken in.
