This sandal is beautifully made. Soft leather that feels broken in already! Never experienced a leather so soft. I am new to purchasing a sandal $100+! They run small and a tad narrow. To solve this, I exchanged from a size 9 to a 10. I am usually a 9 in sandals. The larger size fixed the too narrow problem. I did go on free people’s website prior to apply their measurements and I did find that my foot measured at a 10/40. I should have went with the 10 the first go around. I feel incredibly feminine and my legs look great! I can wear these with Everything! I like shoes that have multiple personalities. Most of all these shows are fun to wear and enjoy life in! Zappos is a pleasure to do business with! I am a Very happy customer!

I don’t consider my feet wide or narrow - right in the middle. this shoe bed was so narrow my baby toes and part of my next toe hung out. Since the big toe is strapped in it leave my smaller toes to fend for themselves. I haven’t returned because I love the style and really want to make them work, but they’re on the border and I’ll most likely return them. Bummer.

Have been eyeing these and they have good reviews. Unfortunately with my thick ankles they don’t even buckle and there’s not enough strap to punch more holes. I’m usually a 39 in sandals but some said these ran short so did try the 40. If the ankle strap had worked I would prob have tried to size down to 39. I have a more narrow foot so wider feet may not fit very well. The mahogany leather is soft and beautiful.

I have these shoes in the tan and LOVE them! The red is just as amazing. Wear with jeans, shorts, dresses...anything. Very comfy too. I’m a 6 1/2 which is a 37. I have a number of Free People shoes (love them all!) and 37 is my size.

I absolutely LOVED the look of these sandals! And I was slightly disappointed that the red color was so pale, (more of a very faded brick color) when they arrived. But I was REALLY disappointed that they fit so oddly. Feels as though the toe loop has been sewn too close to the edge of the sandal and thus it pulls your foot in an odd direction. Sadly, I've returned them.

Pictures do not do this sandal justice. They are gorgeous, comfortable and they make your foot look long and elegant. Beautifully made.

I like the sandal, the leather, sole, over all shoe. The width on the my left foot is a pinch wider over all. The fit is to tight, dang. I'm not sure that a 1/2 size would work, I would like to try. There unavailable at this time. I am on the list when they come in a 9.5

The look of this sandal is great. Loved it. But the fit...not so much. When I received the sandals, the buckles were closed at the last hole. I only needed to buckle them on the first hole. So there was a black mark on both straps at the last buckle hole as if they'd been buckled like that for a long time. I could probably have lived with that had the shoe fit comfortably. The footbed at the toe isn't wide enough and where the toe loop falls meant my big toes were right on top of the stitching. And there's no way that would be comfortable for walking. If they were $50, I *might* exchange them for the next size up just to see if the fit is any better. But for $168, no way. If the pandemic has taught me anything, it's that I don't want to wear shoes that hurt my feet ever, ever, ever again.

Free People is a new company for me and I was drawn to the unique styling of the boot sandal. They are better in person! Fits true to size and is super comfortable, will wear them a lot this fall.

These shoes are adoreable. Look great with jeans, genie pant legs, long dresses, etc. I bought the grey, but it definitely looks tan (as it does on-line) and that is what I wanted. They are great shoes. However, there is not much flexibility in the soul, so no arch support. I have worn the shoes several days and they are comfortable. Then, the other day I was standing for a very long time (2 hours) talking with people and I realized afterwards my arches hurt. These are not for a job where you stand ....... But I still recommend buying them. Sooooo cute!

I love these sandals! I now have 4 pair. They have a wood sole & very soft leather. They are my go to sandals. Very comfortable!!! Only wish they came in more colors.
