I love these boots! I've always been a big Dr Martens fan. I ordered the Natural Wanama color. The color looks pale pink in the pictures on Zappos.. but they're more of a beige color in person. I usually have to order a size 8.5 in women's boots to accommodate a thicker winter sock, but in these boots the US womens 8 work.

I was so excited to finally get this style of Dr. Martens boot. I have two other pairs of Dr. Martens that fit me well and are so comfortable, so I assumed I wouldn't have any issue with this new pair. With the leather being so soft, I thought it would be a cinch to break them in. And the boots fit beautifully around my ankles, the most common area that is tough to break in. I chose the right size as it fit well lengthwise (I am a true size 7 1/2 and chose the 7 boot). What I did not expect to deal with was cutting tightness across my foot where the tongue is sewn to the shoe! The top of the toe box also ran narrow, something I never had to deal with in shoes advertised as medium width before. I was shocked and very dismayed to discover such restriction and discomfort. I did read other reviews that mentioned Pascal boots ran narrow, but I didn't think they would be this bad! My feet are not wide at all, and take medium width shoes without any issues. I think Dr. Martens should be advertising these boots as narrow, not medium width! I chose not to exchange for the next size up because I knew they would be too big lengthwise with no guarantees of feeling less restriction over the top of the foot. With a very heavy heart I have to return these and look for another brand or style. As always, thank you so much Zappos for such great customer service!

I'm a size 8 and find Docs to run a size large. I ordered these in a 7 as I have my other Docs, and they were great once I took out the removable insole (which I find make the Pascals too narrow). The Pascals require little to no break in period because the leather is softer than typical Docs. The natural colour is a beige/bone colour in person. Great for anyone who wants a light Doc, but doesn't want white. They'll go with everything.

These are the best boots I ever bought! It’s like walking on clouds. I love everything about them. I didn’t even have to break to them in like people warned me about. I highly recommend them!

I've wanted a pair of Dr Martens for years. I finally got them and I'm not disappointed. They were a bit stiff at first, but the second day of wearing them loosened them right up. They are comfortable and the quality is great. I love the style! Love Zappos quick shipping and awesome service!

I love Doc Martens. I had boots just like these in the 90s, and I'm so glad they're back in style. Need to wear them with thick socks that don't slip, and after they're broken in they are perfect.

Perfect fit, not much to break the boots and they look super stylish!!

I have only worn these with a medium thick sock,, but with the weather getting so cold I will be switching to a double thick sock and will still have a perfect fit. Very true to size. Love the look of these with jeans.

I've wanted these boots for as long as I can remember but when I finally got them, I was so bummed out because they killed my feet. They were very tight on top of my foot, like where the tongue is attached, I think I had them on for all of 3 minutes before I had to take them off. If you have a narrow foot, they will probably fit and feel well (I don't have a wide footby far). As far as appearance goes, they were beautiful boots and looked very well made but unfortunately they weren't made for me. So my search for black combat boots is still on.

Would have been perfect but a recent ankle surgery and resulting swelling made these not right for me at this time. I was hopeful though. Once recovered, I would like to pick these up again.

Very narrow not a regular medium sent back for sure!
