Too small, and I wear a size 10 in Mizuno's. Always have?

Wore them for a full day today for the first time after trying them on. The tightness of the shoe was intolerable. Toe space was fine, ankle support was fine, but across my foot, even with the laces entirely undone, my feet were numb from constriction.

I've run a lot many 15+mile days) in many versions of the wave rider and loved them all - until this one! I had plenty of room in previous models for winter socks and while all else about this version is great my toes are suddenly up against the top of the shoe?? Not fun. Sadly I bought 3 pairs to last a year or bit less of running. Will def try on next version before buying! My bad

I have owned Wave Riders previously and they were fantastic. This particular pair was unfortunately not "up to par". The outer sole wore out very quickly (within 5 months and < 400 miles) and the mid-sole was exposed and wore through on the ball of the foot. This pair also seemed to run small as well.

I bought this shoe a full size bigger than my normal shoe size, which is the same size as my previous Mizuno shoes. It was still a full size too small.

Was not a fan of how these felt. I originally had the wave rider 20's and they fit my foot perfectly. I also do not enjoy the look. I like the look of the wave rider 20.

I had 3 pairs of 23 and loved them. Very comfortable and durable. The 24s feel so much different my arches hurt every time I wear them to run any distance. Really disappointed in the changes. Too many miles trying to like them to return at this point. Would love to get my hands on another pair of the old model!

Wave Rider's are my go-to running shoe, however this is now the second pair in a row that have gotten holes in the back of them. This happened to my Wave Rider 23's so I thought I would get a new pair early since I loved the color choices for the 24, but these too developed holes in the back and caused blisters. I'm going to have to take a break from these and see if the quality improves.

I have been running in wave riders for over 6 years and have loved them until this model. The reason I loved the previous versions was they provided a proper fit for a narrow foot and good arch support for high arches. Both of these are lacking the 24 which has a wider feel and more importantly little to no arch support. Hate to do it but I am returning, I can't run in them.

Too small in the toe area both in width and in length. I am always a size 7 and these were very small in my opinion. Also the shoe laces had to be widened to the point of being unflattering to fit comfortably, and my foot is a normal foot - never wear a wide shoe. I was fine with the boring grey color but the fit was awful. Was trying something new based on reviews and had to return unfortunately.

I have worn nothing but Wave Riders for the past 13 years and I am not loving this new design. Have only worn a few times on 3 to 5 mile runs to break them in and they hurt my feet. The new tread gives a rough ride. Would much prefer a new pair of my Wave Rider 22s over these. Really disappointed. The construction of the upper part of the shoe also seems really cheap. Hoping they grow on me and hoping that some insoles may make them stop hurting my feet.

I have been a fan of Mizuno Wave Rider sneakers for years and have never had a problem with them wearing out in one season. However, I bought a pair of the Wave Rider 24 sneakers in June 2022, and now 3 months later a piece of the bottom tread is loose and flapping. Really disappointed these didn’t hold up to regular walking.

Terrible sizing. Bought wide and a half size more and they are TIGHT. I would return them if I hadn't run in them already. Dissatisfied

So disappointed! We love these shoes but the treads on the bottom are peeling off with less than 20 miles of running. Never had this problem with Mizuno's before even with hundreds of miles on them.

Ordered wide width, and Man, these were every tight! Also, it seems the left insole was not even, pushing my foot to weird angle and strain on my knees. Liked the color and look, but sadly back these go.

I need help I’ve been wearing these for years but this model has caused back knee and calf issues. I started seeing a Chiro and he thinks it my shoes. I went back to older model and problems went away. I want to cry. What do I do ?

This shoe caused me two blisters, one of each foot, where the shoe bends below the toes as I walk. I wish I could return these shoes because of the money spent on these shoes as I cannot use them for walking, exercising, etc. Will not buy this one again. Disappointed in Mizuno as I really enjoy their products.

The fit was very different than previous Wave Rider. Toe box was smaller, and although I ordered the same width as B4 ... just didn't fit. I contacted corporate Mizuno, and queried about the manufacturing process. They were polite, but like many international shoe companies, the sizes are getting smaller, and they don't have a plan to maintain consistent size within any model. Prices higher every year, but quality is also less in this model. I need to start over trying to find a shoe that fits well. I gave the example that a WI privately owned shoe company maintains a master "LAST" for each shoe model they make and sell, and consumers can reliably purchase a new version of that model with a perfect fit, unless there is a foot change. YET, Billion Dollar international companies can't seem to understand how millions of people get frustrated finding and buying athletic shoes that fit.... lack of model year size consistency is most frustrating . I'm still looking for a replacement.

The sole on these feels just like a monolithic slab of foam. Limits my movement. Used it for 3 runs, and gave me knee pain. Put my old Wave Riders back on... knee pain went away. I'm sorry to see this change. Also, fabric material on top does not allow for sufficient breathing. Feet feel hotter than before. These were my 6th or 7th version of this model. Guess I have to find a new shoe. :(

I have been wearing Wave Riders for 13 years and these are my least favorite (right after the 13s). They are not good for those with narrow feet and high arches. I loved the 22s. The 24s hurt my feet every time I run and they have actually limited my running because I worry about how they will hurt my feet. I have loved Mizunos for years as they fit my narrow feet perfectly - until now. The toe box is too big and my feet slide around too much. It takes forever to get the exact fit with the laces to try to keep my feet in place. Either cuts off circulation to my toes or my feet slide around. Really disappointed and hope that the next iteration is better than these. These shoes have taken the fun out of running.
