Do not know how these would have felt, I had to return them as they were too large. I usually always wear a 9 1/2, but these were way to long, they were close to an inch longer than my foot. Width wise they felt just fine (medium), but the heel slipped badly due to the length. I will rate these shoes hi overall because I really like the Lowa boots I have so I am assuming I would like these shoes if I could wear them.

The sizing was probably two sizes bigger than stated and much wider than normal. Nice looking set of shoes. Obviously someone else had the shoes first. The box was mashed and the shoe laces were wide open.

I chose the Lowa Innox Pro instead. The Explorer Lo definitely would work better for more difficult hiking trails, but it is heavier and felt like the tongue might irritate my instep.

THE WIFE ALWAYS WEARS SIZE 9.5 AND THEY WERE WAY TO BIG.

Unlike my other Lowa boots, this pair felt too big in the heel. I returned the boots.

These hiking shoes look pretty good (nice color, details), but they are really large and the lacing system is really bad. I think I'd be constantly tightening them laces.
