I HAD to write a review bc I am SO torn on these. I love the *look, and think I’m going to keep them simply bc I don’t love many items these days. I just received and tried these on, so I haven’t worn them out yet. I read reviews on another site since there weren’t any reviews on Zappos. All reviews said these run a half to a whole size small. I agree. I usually wear an 8 in any boot (or shoe that requires wear w/ a sock). So I ordered an 8.5, which fit. The toe comes to a bit of a point, so it becomes pretty narrow in the toe area but I’m hoping that will stretch/break in. I gave 3 stars bc I really feel like these seem cheaply made, yet they are way more expensive than I usually pay. They are really more of “shoes” than “boots.” The material of the shoe and tongue are THIN. The inside is soft like a super thin fleece but they have basically have no lining. I hope the fur trim hangs on! These shoes are for looks only, not for warmth at all. When tied, I can see my ankle socks peeking over the top of the tongue (just to give you an idea of how “high” they come up). Again, shoe, not boot. The outer sole is barely textured. It has super fine, super shallow (wave shaped) grooves. I’ll be nervous walking on any wet surfaces in them ‘til I know how they do. Again, super cute but seems like lots of odd/inconsistent qualities for what looks to be a winter boot. Incredible lack of quality for the price.
