New Balance was always my best and favorite brand. But over the past three years it has dropped to the bottom of my list. My usual size is 7.5 B. (always always!). But after two tries and getting too short and narrow shows, ordered 8B. That is still too narrow at the toe. so this last time I ordered 8 Wide. Believe it or not, this style seems narrower than the usual B!! Maybe it is a flaw. I need a shoe with a broader toe box and narrower heel. Don't know why (almost all?) shoe companies still, after 25 years, insist on designing shoes that are narrow at the toe. Honestly - am I the only person in the world whose foot is sorta square at the toe!?? Maybe - my husband says my feet are duck feet. haha

I bought these so I could have shoes to workout indoors given the current situation. I have very wide feet with painful bunions. These felt like pillows on my feet. Super comfortable right out of the box. I wear them all day for working from home and standing at my desk. My lower back no longer hurts. Plus these are great for my HIIT videos. I really want to buy a back up pair!

I bought these for crossfit training and while they have decent cushioning, they have almost no arch support. I felt like if I wore they for a long time they would eventually mould to my arches but was not a comfortable fit out of the box. I also have wide feet and typically order wide in everything, especially because I am a dancer and don't like my toes to be squished. I ordered wide in these and I felt like my foot was slipping all over the place inside the shoe in lateral movement like jumping jacks and skaters. The laces don't go over the lower foot, only the arches, so it's hard to tighten them enough to help with the sliding. If you're buying them for everyday and walking, they might be fine, but definitely not for a gym workout that includes lateral movement and not if you have high arches.

These shoes were extremely narrow and not true to size. I bought two different pairs of new balance tennis shoes for my daughter, this pair and another pair. See photos. The white pair were a 5.5 wide, this pair was a size 5 medium. The difference in size is ridiculous. The white shoe appears to be at least a full if not one and a-half sizes larger than the black one even though it’s the same brand. My daughter could not even get her foot into the black shoe. I recommend at least a full size larger if not one and a half size larger if you plan on buying the shoe. There does not seem to be any arch support, but it does have memory foam inside which provides a lot of cushion. There is not much stability to these shoes as they are mostly made out of cloth. What looks like support around the sides is actually just a rubber liner covering the fabric.

True to size! I have a more narrow foot and my feet feel secure in them. They are comfy!

These felt perfect right out of the box. I have very narrow feet, and as another reviewer has mentioned, this is a good, snug fitting shoe, something I rarely experience. They are also super cute---a nice thin sole makes these attractive. I am not feeling a ton of arch support, but I think these will be just fine for walking and daily activity. Not quite minimalist, but I am still getting good proprioception with these!

I bought these shoes for walking on the treadmill. Overall I like them but was really disappointed that they tore right above the shoelaces after only wearing twice. Just a bummer for that to happen on brand new shoes, but otherwise I like them.

Never owned a pair of these shoes. Was hoping they fit like they should and felt good on my feet. Just got them yesterday and wore them to work today. Im on my feet all day. All I can say about these shoes is they are amazingly comfortable and well supported. Also, definitely true to size. Will definitely be buying more of these shoes!

These sneakers have a great fit and are extremely lightweight and comfortable. Only problem is that don’t last long. I have had mine for 5 months now and there is about to be a huge hole in the sole. I have never had a sneaker that wore down so quickly. Even though I love the comfort, I will not be buying another pair.

These shoes fit great and are super comfortable! I have received many compliments the first day I wore them. I would absolutely buy these again.

I wear a 9.5 all the time. I have a narrow foot so I wear Nike a lot because they run narrow. I have loved New Balance in the past so I wanted another pair. I really liked this show but I needed to order a half size larger and when I did that they were too wide. They would probably be great for someone who wears a medium.

I wear them and they’re comfortable. However, the style of the toe area throws me off. That point makes it feel like I’m wearing clown shoes.

These felt nice and snug, but lightweight on my feet when I tried them on. I was shopping for a new pair for elliptical workouts, so I wanted comfort and stability. These were comfortable, but not very stable. I have EDS so I am very sensitive, and my bones shift too easily, so I need some stability, especially when moving around. I liked the lightness and flexibility, but they were not going to be supportive enough for my needs, so I decided on a different pair.

I like A LOT of arch support, and these were lacking. I put in my Superfeet insoles, which helped for the most part. However, these shoes squeak on my feet. It doesn't matter what socks I wear, my feet -inside the shoes- squeak, with every.single.step. It's not the soles of the shoes on the floor, it's my foot in the shoe. I've never had this issue with the insoles, I have several pairs. It's something with these shoes. I can't wear them around my house, or to the library. I strictly wear them for walking outside, with headphones in, because they annoy me so much.

Very comfy, forms to your foot. True to size - don't really need a width concern. I would buy again - now I'm on my 3rd pair of NB's.

Perfect fit! I know I can count on New Balance and order my usual size and they are always a perfect fit!
