This would be a fine shoe if it wasn't for 2 things: 1. They are WAY too tight across the throat (top of the foot where they sewed the tongue to the body of the shoe) and 2. The end of the tongue is flattened rather than being soft and cushy. Why they didn't make this soft like on most sneakers is beyond me. If you wear short socks, it feels as though it is cutting into your ankles. I have a somewhat narrow foot, but medium width usually works fine for me. I'm typically between a 7-1/2 to 8 M. I ended up having to order a 9 M. The shoe is too long, and sadly, it's STILL too tight around the arch of the foot. Hoping it will stretch a bit over time. With some design fixes, I'd love it.

My granddaughter plays school and club volleyball. That’s lots of wear. She loves these shoes.

Loved the look of the shoe, but is really made for narrow feet. Previously owned Mizuno VB shoe was not this narrow. Even followed suggestions of ordering 1/2 size larger to accommodate ankle braces. The overall shoe is just narrow.

I couldn’t even get my foot in the shoe and I typically wear a 8.5-9.5 in other shoes.

Great looking shoes. Def run at least a half size smaller. Toes are crunched in front. Would have returned, but wore them for a whole day hoping they would stretch or something. I really wanted them to work! Shes are narrow, but I have a narrow foot so i didn't mind. If I buy again I will size up. Will just have to give this pair away.

I should have listened to the other reviews that mentioned the stiff tongue, it's crazy stiff and digs into the top of my ankle. As usual the Mizuno run a full size too small, but even with sizing up a full size the shoe felt too tight and of course the tongue was terrible.

I bought my usual size shoes for Mizuno, as I've had 4 or 5 pairs before. The Z6 are extremely tight and restricted. Unfortunately, I could not even get my foot in the shoes to try them because the upper arch is now stitched across part of the tongue. Only a narrower foot, and low arch could fit with these. I'll try one size up, but I think the arch will still be too low, or shoe will end up too long.

These shoes have been my go-to since I first started playing volleyball. I first got these shoes in black around the beginning of the 2019-2020 season and they lasted me forever. I went through two entire seasons with them and they held up amazingly. Unfortunately now they have lost all their grip and I'm in need of a new pair, but these are seriously the best shoes. I personally have more narrow feet, so these feel amazing, but I don't really recommend these for people with wider feet because they will most likely be too tight and feel uncomfortable. I have seen people complain about the tongue being uncomfortable and that it is flattened, but to me it is very comfortable. The shoe has this sort of padding all around the inside that makes it feel like you're not even wearing the shoes while you're playing. I'm an outside and it withheld with the constant jumping. Mizuno in general makes amazing volleyball shoes, but these have to be my most favorite. I am definitely investing in another pair of red and white ones!

I picked these shoes as other reviewers commented that they ran narrow. The fit my narrow foot perfectly and feel great! Recommend for others looking for a narrow fitting volleyball shoe.

Nice volleyball sneakers. You must size up a half or whole size though. Learned this from the last pair.
