I have worn Asics shoes fir 30 years I needed a good shoe to run and walk in and after reading many reviews, I chose these. The cushion was fantastic and the length was perfect but they were too tight through the toes and caused terrible pain in my big toe joint. ASICS has started to make their shoes too narrow through the toe box and sadly I won’t be wearing them anymore. I found amazing Hoka one one shoes though. The Speedgoat 4 is fantastic!

I love my Gel-ASICS - they were always so comfortable. But either my feet got worse or the gel in them was reduced but they haven’t been so comfortable with last few model. I tried the HOKA 1-1’s but I almost broke my ankle and fell a second time- they’re not as wide at the base. So I tried the Novablast- they are comfortable, cushy heel to toe, but not as bouncy bouncy as HOKA, which was “too” bouncy for me. But Novablast isn’t all day comfortable, like my gel Nimbus or Cumulus. I’ll keep them for my walks, and wait to order gel-nimbus/cumulus they next time.

If you asked me on day 1 whether I liked the Novablast, I'd have told you they were terrible shoes. They were comfortable out of the box, but . . . my foot kept rolling in and all the cushioning made me feel terribly unstable. And running? Firm nope. I had to change shoes after the first 100 m. How do I feel today? LOVE them. Really, really love them. It took my body about a week to adjust. I don't notice the previously perceived instability, just supreme comfort. I guess my body got used to the new normal. As for my feet rolling in when I run? That doesn't happen anymore. I am an under-pronator; my ankles are hyper mobile from decades of ballet. I usually wear the Asics Nimbus to help my alignment when I run. And while I still like the Nimbus, these reduce the stress on my joints. I had tried the very popular Hoka brand shoes but hated them. My sales gal neglected to tell me that Hoka has almost no heel drop as compared to Asics, and I come from a family that has blown all their achilles' tendons. After the first few runs, my achilles started to hurt, and it took 2 months of hobbling around before it started to heal. I'm grateful Asics has a competing shoe with a significant drop for the poor souls (and soles) like me ;)

I second the big toe joint pain!!! I thought it was just me. I wear ASICS for the larger toe box and wider fit, why would they mess with this? It’s great everywhere else but now I either have to see if it gets better or return. Mine were a 10B, I was going to order a wide but it’s not an option and I feel 10.5 will be way too big. This needs to at least come in wide sizes if they are going to do such a smaller toe box all of a sudden.

As soon as I put them they felt really comfortable and cushiony. I went for a 3 mile walk right away and all I can say is buy them if you are an ASICS girl.

THE BEST running shoe ever! Wow! Out of the box, I ran 10 miles bouncing all the way! I am a forefoot striker and these were made for me. Lightweight, energizing. Good bye Gel Nimbus, Hello for ever Novablast!

I wore these shoes for moderate 4 mile daily walks. I had to ditch them after two weeks. There were serious ankle pronation issues. The heals were extremely soft and didn’t provide enough support. Also after ten days of 4 mile walks (40 miles) the souls had extensive wear. Do not waste your money on these shoes.

I usually get Gel Nimbus bc of high arches- need cushy shoes to work in. These are even better. 8/12 ran a bit long but will wear them for running. 8 fits perfectly (I tend to be between sizes and have a fairly narrow foot)

As a long time Dynaflyte (1st gen was the best) lover, I had been looking to find a shoe that felt cushioned and lightweight like the Dynaflyte. When Asics dropped the Dynablast I snapped up a pair just to see how I felt about them (they were good) but they didn't quite have the cushioning I was looking for, when I went on vacation and visited the Myrtle Beach store I grabbed a pair of Novablast before my store got them. Those were the winner for lightweight, cushioned responsiveness. I have 8 pair of the Novablast (1st gen) now and I work and have run a couple of 5ks in them. Sizing wise I went down from my customary size 7 Nimbus to a 6 and a half for this generation of Novablast. I suggest giving the shoe a couple of days to get used to the motion of the heel and the momentum that comes from the shape of the shoe, the midfoot is nicely cushioned in a bouncy Flytefoam that rebounds nicely when you land on it. If you are a neutral or underpronating runner this is an excellent shoe for 5k, 10k, or maybe even a half marathon but it's really fantastic working retail in. I have been wearing Asics for about 35 years and the Novablast is one of my favorites.

Probably the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. I am normally a Nike shock/air customer but these novablast outright beats the comfort level. Supporting the ball of my feet and my heels. Really does make a difference in my daily routin. I will be purchasing more

I wouldn't call this a neutral shoe - definitely for us supinators. The shoe is very comfortable and sturdy. My feet finally roll properly! The one drawback is that the traction is minimal. To be fair, this is only an issue for me on a treadmill. A little slippery, but I'm getting used to it. Other than that tho, I'd buy them again.

These are my new favorite Asics shoes! So very cushiony! And they hug my feet better than any other style. I will say the knit fabric ones feel more narrow in the toe box strictly because of the fabric (the grey/purple, and the white/ice blue, etc). I have a pair with the normal material too and they fit wider. I love them both, and cannot wait for more colors to come out. I dont run in them but Im on my feet all day and these are like walking on clouds! Thanks Asics!

Extremely light weight! Great foot stability! Outstanding in absorbing shocks when jogging! If I had enough money, I'd invest in numerous pairs of this specific shoe. I LOVE IT!

I am a registered nurse this shoe provides the extra support needed when you are on your feet all day. I bought a second pair after trying these shoes because I really enjoyed the comfort. I wouldn't advice using these shoes for bench pressing or lifting/ completing weight lifting programs, because they pull you forward due to the extra foam support in the back.

I wear these sneakers for 12 hours shifts in a hospital where I am on my feet all day; I absolutely love them. No BLE pain post-shift, feel like I could still exercise after I clock out! Will definitely purchase again.

I'm usually a gel-nimbus girl- but I have absolutely fallen in love with these! I work in healthcare, so I'm on my feet a lot- I literally feel like I'm walking on a cloud!

I am a nurse on my feet 12 hours a shift. I have worn these for three shifts and my feet do not hurt at the end of the night.
