I bought the "large". For reference, I am 5'3", 135, 34ddd. Apparently I am 'long-waisted', as all of the dozen or so dressed I have tried waist ride an inch or two above what feels natural for me. This rides about an inch high, but I will deal with it. The skirt is nearly a full half circle, so it has a 'twirl' for dance spins. The length on me is exactly at the top of the patella. The material is like heavy t-shirt, I'm glad I don't own a cat, or a dog that sheds, or it would be useless. I will hold on to this but order an XL to see if it feels a bit better overall. For further reference, I ordered two other Unique Vintage dresses in L, and they were chiffon-like, and the Large was a bit too large, and those dresses fell well below the knee. In Hilfiger fit and flare, I wear 10. I really wish this style and skirt length came in sleeveless and colors. This will be a little too heavy/warm for dancing, but I will use it for that!
