I just replaced a 5 year old pair of New Balance 574’s with a pair of 510’s. These are basically the same shoe. The 574 has a bit more cushion but I don’t run on trails anymore. Both are excellent shoes for rough surfaces and in 4E, wide for those who can’t wear a narrow shoe.

These things are a bad joke. Not only do they have no arch support, the lack of contouring in the shoe overall tries to flatten your foot when you cinch the laces down. The soles have weird mounds where there should be a hollow, and hollows where there should be a rise. I bought these as an alternative to my minimalist shoes for pushing out past 10k, but frankly I'd be better off barefoot. I realize these are not New Balance's top of the line, but I've had better shoes from no-name brands at Payless.

I wear 11 4E and the fit is perfect. I also like the roomy toe area. Zappos comes through every time. Long time customer.

These shoes were exactly as promised. I have purchased ONLY this New Balance shoe for awhile on recommendation of my podiatrist. Zappos is the most economical and efficient way to get them. These shoes were a slightly different model than my old 410s, but fit exactly the same.

Definitely a size small and a bit narrower than the usual 4E

While not described as a "walking" shoe, this feels more like a walking shoe than a running shoe, which is just what we were looking for. It's comfortable and sturdy, with colors neutral enough to wear with any casual attire.

Christmas present for my Grandson, after about 4 months the inside heel area had deteriorated to the point they were useless. Very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible. After just a few weeks of moderate use, the heels feel apart— and exposed the plastic which now ripped my heel apart and caused terrible blisters. I’ve owned the V3 and V4 of this show... loved them... but the V5 proves they took shortcuts and made the most painful sneaker I’ve ever owned. Terrible, great looking shoe! Couldn’t be more disappointed.

The fit and size are excellent... very comfortable. I also like the moderately aggressive sole that makes the shoe great on dirt, gravel, or the road. Since I like a little extra room in the toebox, I ordered a half-size up. There's not that much difference between whole and half sizes. This allows room for a heavier sock.

First of all, delivery speed was AMAZING! Ordered Sunday morning with promise is a Wednesday delivery, got it a day early! Fits exactly to the size and width. Very good price too!

So far a comfortable shoe that blends well with clothing.

These were a gift for my husband. He loves the great support they have and the style was great too!

Very nice, I own a pair that I bought about 4 years ago. Very comfortable.

I love New Balance, so it was no surprise I would love these. Lightweight, yet supportive. Insoles are removable, yet they are very cushioned. I bought wide, and they are a great fit.

my son has wide feet ( not overly wide) and is always so disappointed that Nike and Addidas run does narrow. new balance has been our go-to brand from toddler to now a men’s size 9! ( age 11!). we try other brands but these are the very day athletic shoes. always.

I was reluctant to buy another pair of NewBalance shoes online. I have purchased 2 other styles from another authorized seller and they were both way too small , The description says TRUE TO SIZE...If you have large/wide feet ORDER 1 FULL SIZE LARGER THAN YOU NORMALLY WEAR.

I have been wearing these shoes daily for about two weeks and includes about 50 miles of dog walks. They are a bit wider than other New Balance shoes purchased in the past but that's okay because I have wide feet (13-4E) and they are comfortable.

I have bought 4-5 pairs of New Balance 410 and 510 over the years, but this last pair only lasted 6 months before a huge hole wore in the back and gave me a blister. I was very surprised! Disappointed, because the New Balance 510 has been my "go to" shoe.

These are great shoes overall!

Pros Wore every day since 2020 Good grip pattern for my light off pavement and general duty walks. Good ventilation with quick drying via mesh fore foot. Cons Heavier than I expected. Toe gaurd good but mesh fore foot is a easy moisture entry when your on dew laden grass. Would buy again.
