I love how durable and protected I feel when using this for casual walks and if trails gets tricky I'm ready for it! Amazingly it's not heavy for such a solid pair.

When I first seen these boots I wasn't sure that I would like them. After receiving them though, I became fond of them immediately. The colors are perfect, the orange goes so well with the brown leather. The boot is very comfortable and can be worn for anything from work to a casual outing. I give these boots 10 out of 10 and glad that I was apart of this review. Cant wait until the next one.

my husband has a Timberland addiction so it is my go-to gift, I can't be more specific on the feel of the shoe since I am not the one wearing it but he always loves them as gifts. And the shipping is fantastic And fast.

Pleasantly surprised by the comfort, fit & finish, and styling of these shoes. Initially, I was hesitant about the color combination, but after wearing them around they do go with a lot of outfits and appear to be fairly neutral. Tons of support and extremely comfortable. Excellent balance between comfort, style, and function. Would definitely recommend these boots for casual and active use. A++

These fit true to size for my feet. Don't feel too long or wide, they are just right. I like the earthy colors, green, brown, black, beige and orange laces. The add a trendy look for a hiking boot.
Here are a few features I like:
- Nice thick rubber sole
- Rubber at the bottom has with a cool pattern which makes it easier to keep traction
- Has an Ortholite footbed to keep the bottom of my feet comfy
- It is made of leather and ReBOTL recycled fabric, these shoes should hold up and last a long time
- Nice earthy colors for a hiking shoe
- Supports my ankles
- Shoelaces are easy to tie and don't seem to slip/untie
I have always been a big fan of timberland and even more so now!

The overall fit of the Field Trekker feels really good. The insoles that come with the shoe are actually decent and I think will last me a while. They've got a great weight for the durability, the sole looks like it will take a good beating and the tread is nicely aggressive. They feel like the comfort of a teni-shoe but with the support and build of a hiking shoe. The lip on the toe is a bit short and I wouldn't be surprised if it peels back, that and the different materials all sewn together could sacrifice some breaking points for looks. But all the seams look well reinforced and the trendy look makes it worth it. Would recomend!!

I like the functionality of this show. Nice middle ground between support of a full boot and comfort of sneakers

I received a complimentary pair of Timberland Field Trekker Mid Hikers thru #bzzagent for my honest feedback and review. These shoes are very comfortable and stylish, I have seen them going for around $120 or so and feel like at that price they are a good buy, they can be used for work and for casual wear. They are stylish enough to wear with a pair of jeans or joggers, they are a good shoe to work long hours in or go for a hike in. I like that they are mids as I'm not a fan of boots that cover my ankles. These hikkers are the perfect choice for any guy looking for a comfortable pair of shoes to work in or go hiking with, I love that they also can be worn out with almost any outfit for any occasion. I highly recommend these and would buy them again!

I use them for walking on sidewalks, steps, dirt hills and trails. They're light like a sneaker, but they have great support like a hiking shoe.

Great boot/shoe. Wears like a sneaker, but walks like a boot. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is because I wish it had the metal plate insole. I stepped on a nail and it went right through the bottom.

Casual wheat and work. It's nice and lightweight. Not enough cushion in the sole.

Timberland always fits me just right. I wear pro work boots daily and also have a pair of casual boots. The fit is consistent. Not great colors for these trekkers but super comfortable and stable. Great for walking in the neighborhood or light off-road. Get dedicated hikers if you want a heavier more stable boot for long hikes.
