I bought these although there were no reviews and as someone who’s never owned a pair of lifting shoes so my review is from that angle. These were among some of the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought but believe these have turned out to be a real game changer for me. It could be that the benefits I describe below could have been achieved without the high price tag but I’ll say that these are without a doubt worth a premium in the look alone which I didn’t appreciate until I suddenly had comments from other gym goers about them. I don’t pay attention to footwear but apparently others do. I bought these because I’ve religiously used a pair of INOV8 Bares since 2012 and found to be about as minimalist as I could have found. They have held up extremely well so I made this recent purchase out of brand loyalty and have not been disappointed. I realized that I lack some ankle mobility and despite a few weeks of attempting to improve on it I got impatient and bought these to help overcome the deficit. For barbell back squats, goblet squats, stiff legged deadlifts (DB), these shoes have provided a ROM that I could not achieve without them and I have gotten considerably more out of the barbell hip thrust on the wider stance. They also permit more comfort on the leg press. In all of these exercises I was limited by my ROM which to compensate I kept rounding my lower back because of my ankle flexibility limitation but have overcome them with these shoes alone and feel the difference and my strength gains have shown through. I’ve been using these shoes for approximately 5 weeks at this point. I dropped 1 star for comfort because although lifting shoes are supposed to be built more for stability than comfort, the ankle ridge at the top (on my L foot only) rubs firmly against my skin when in full flexion which isn’t comfortable. But overall these shoes have proven their value. Both pair of INOV8s I change into at the gym and never where them off the gym floor which is how I manage to keep them looking and feeling new for so long.

These fit exactly. I have the same size in the f-lites. They're on the snug size, but they lock your feet in place for those heavy lifts. Wore them today squatting and automatically added 10% to my lifts. Super grippy soles.

Love these shoes! These do run a little bit small. I usually wear a US size 13, but ordered these in a US size 14 and they fit perfectly. I love the looks of these as well as the function. They are solid shoes that are perfect for heavy lifting. The shoes don’t offer a ton of comfort since they are designed to not have a squishy footbed, but that’s exactly why I got these. Squats and deadlifts can be performed without having to worry about how the bottom of the shoe will handle the weight.

Fit was right on. As another reviewer mentioned, the part of the shoe where the last lace hole is digs into your foot a little if it’s tight. The Velcro strap pretty much nullifies this though since you can keep the top loose.
I only gave four stars on the overall because the heel is still a little too loose for me. I want everything locked in, but no matter what there is still some slippage. I guess that’s a foot shape thing though.
