Wow. I have been waiting for a golf shoe like this. I have size 10.5, 4E feet and there's a limited number of golf shoes in extra wide. I tried Skechers in extra wide, but the toe box has been too narrow in their golf shoes. (Note, I have several pairs of Skechers casual shoes and those are fine.) New Balance has extra wide, but doesn't seem like the same company recently. I haven't been thrilled with the last couple pairs of NB golf shoes and one "waterproof" pair leaked like sieves when they were new. I always liked and used the classic style FootJoy golf shoes, but was looking for a more athletic, spikeless design. I happened to see the Flex XP and liked the look and waterproof guarantee. The shoes have been great out on the course. They're very comfortable and fit like a 10.5, 4E shoe should. While the toe box looks a bit tapered, they work just fine on my feet. The soles provide good traction so far on the course. The traction comes from elongated, sharp nubs. Take a look at the photos. Only time will tell, but they should last longer than the pointy bits on the sole of Skechers that wore down a lot during a year of use. The crazy thing is that a lot of spikeless shoes tend to rough up greens more than soft-spiked shoes. The XP's sole has not done that here. The FootJoy XP's give good support during the golf swing. I like a shoe that supports right to left motion on the left foot as it rolls over during the follow-through on a shot. I can't speak to how waterproof they are as it has been quite dry the past month. Fingers crossed on the waterproof aspect. Bottom line: I'm glad purchased these and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Unbelievable shoe with all day comfort for walking the course. The shoe offers great stability and traction while swinging the club. Great waterproof shoe, but still allowing breathability. Love the color and overall look of the shoe. Received many compliments on the course. I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a soft spike golf shoe. FootJoy has done it again with another great golf shoe! #sweepstakes

THe "regular wide" were the second pair I ordered after the "X-wide" were too wide. THese are perfect for my flat feet and are so extremely comfortable I'm not in a rush to take them off after 18 holes.

Not as wide even though a WW for my feet. Runs smaller, usually I need 9.5 but the 9 fit better. Also, toe box was not comfortable.

Bought these as a gift for my partner and he absolutely loved them. Perfect fit, looks great, and he said they couldn't be better on the course!

I put them on, walked my first round and it was like a pair of slippers. I don't know durability cause I haven't had them long but if you are looking for a comfortable walking shoe that is water proof these are the ones. Outstanding quality.

Shoe fits true and is comfy out of the box. Sole is a touch bulky to the eye but probably what makes it so comfortable. Bought them in my local pro shop, put them on and walked 18 painlessly. Cons are that they do have a pop or click in the toe, the toes are somewhat rubber coated. One of the rubber coatings on my particular pair is far wider than the other, doesn't affect performance at all, just a bit odd to look at. Only other con is that they're not waterproof, third round in them (first two rounds were dry and sunny third round in slight but all day drizzle) and my toes were entirely soaked, they bled around the inside of the rubber coating aforementioned. My poor ProDry socks couldn't keep up! That all being said, great shoe for dry warm weather, leave them home if it's cold and wet! I've decided to make these my everyday pair of sneakers they're so comfy!

I've had these Flex XP's for a couple months now. Great shoe at first, comfy, stable and stylish. But after a month or so the interior lining of the toe area had become wrinkled and hard, so much that it was rubbing on my big toes. They are nearly unwearable now. I had a pair of Pro SL's do the same thing about a year ago. I think the toe area is designed too tapered and doesn't allow enough flexibility. I don't mind spending a little extra for footjoys, but this appears to be a pattern, at least in my case, and probably going to seek another brand for my next purchase. Disappointed.

Fantastic shoe. Needed extra wide with full orthodic. Lots of depth in shoe to accommodate orthodic.comfort walking is same as jogging shoe. I've decided to buy another pair for every day use at work

Wear a 12.5 in Nike and the FJ shoes run a half size large so I ordered a 12. The FJ size 12 fit very well!
I'd also recommend:

Extremely comfortable golf shoes ideally suited for the player who prefers walking. First time out never gave them a thought. Light weight feels like a tennis shoe. Heavy morning dew no problem. Good stability throughout the swing with solid traction all while keeping feet dry as a bone. Only time will tell how well the shoes hold up after extended mileage but no reason to suspect anything disappointing. Highly recommend.

Great fit and weight. Laces tighten to uniform support over arch and around ankle...no slide or wiggle.

Excellent feeling shoe. After my first round walking 18, my feet felt great. This was my second order pair as the first were 1/2 size too big. It was worth the return and re-order. I need to remember that FJ sizing run 1/2 size large. The medium width was perfect for me.

I have wide feet so depending on the shoe I can go from EEE to EEEE. These were listed as EEE so were a little tight at first but then felt snug instead of tight and then very comfortable.

Visual: the only time these shoes will look new is the day you take them out of the box. The lower half of the shoes retain grass stains, skid marks etc. even after scrubbing with a nylon brush and a mild abrasive. In my opinion they should have figured this out by now given the price charged. Feel: Very comfortable, non slip, and in my experience the wide fit is decently wide. On the downside, the tongue bunches up under the laces, at least in my case. Value: Because of Covid, had to buy online. Approx $190 incl tax and shipping. Not worth it. Note: This is my experience after using for three weeks / six games.

There is a crease or bump/seam that runs the length of the shoe tongue on both shoes. It is more pronounced on the right shoe. They would be more comfortable without the seam/bump.
