These are perfect for when the snow turns to slush. The traction is good, and your feet stay warm and dry. I had a pair of these few years ago, and I was glad to find them again. I wear a size 7, and they are true to size.

I have a very high instep and these were a bit of a challenge to zip up. But overall they fit fairly close to size. I wish they had half sizes I think that an 8 1/2 will be better than the eight. Haven’t tried them yet find out how dry or warm they are. kind of funky looking. I’m not thinking pretty, more “interesting”. They will be good for me walking back-and-forth from my car to my office which is about a four block walk.

Cute Rain (or slush) bootie. It was O.K. for my wide & round toes (& high enough toe box)! Zipping boot up over my High Instep was a bit snug. BUT the reason I am returning is the Outer Sole. It felt as IF there was something strange when I walked in my kitchen: It felt FINE under my toes BUT Changed & felt WEIRD under the Ball of my foot. It is the Outer Sole that is a problem for me. I neglected to catch this in the pictures before ordering. Because of a foot problem (Morton's Neuroma) I need a more even sole OR one that does NOT have a drastic crease under the ball of my foot. I am looking at 2 other Cougar boots with different soles: Derry Waterproof and Duffy. Hopefully they might work!

The fit wasn't comfortable for my wider feet. The toe box was largely round and clumsy looking. Returned.
