Felt very wide on top of my foot. The tongue is also one piece and seems to be long so rubs on my ankle. To try and tighten top of shoe had to pull strings very tight and cause it to bunch up and rub top of my foot . Also does not have normal tie laces

I bought the Sense Ride 3 after having (and loving) the Sense Ride 2. The 3 feels more cushioned and more sturdy, so I think I'll definitely get more miles on these ones--I currently have about 150 miles on them and they're holding up great! Overall, love the redesign and this will definitely be my shoe for the future. Plus the all white color is FLY!

I got these when my prior Sense Ride W's (from 2018) wore out. I like the way they fit in the toebox, they feel roomier than my last pair, and definitely roomier than the XA Enduros (also from 2018). This is important for me because I have bunions - but I also just think women's shoes should have more room in the toebox for our toes to spread out for alignment purposes and preventing long term damage. I was able to put in inserts to adjust for pronation (my ankles want to "cave" in/flat footed) without it taking away too much room in the toebox. These feel more like a road running shoe and are supportive, cushy, and spacious. However, they're not really holding up on more rugged and steeper, rockier trails. The grip is okay, but they need stiffer reinforcement & protection in the toe/front end. Overall they suit my needs well in performance & comfort if I'm running a flat, soft, or not too steep or rocky trail, and running the road to the trailhead. I would say they fit bigger than other Salomon shoes of the same size. And I have to say I dig the mauve color.

I have worn the Sense Ride since day 1. It's always been a shoe that got me through the miles and hard times. What I love about this update... it's still got the cushion, but a bit more tread. You still feel that comfort with a little more grip. Love this update!!!

This shoe fit well, and was very comfortable. I loved the lacing system, the grip, and the fit. I purchased the shoes at the beginning of the summer around April/May and the sole is already starting to peel away from the shoe. I have put quite a few miles on them, but I did not expect them to wear so soon. Overall though, I have enjoyed the shoe on the trails.

This is my 4th pair of Sense Ride trainers. They are my go to, all round trail running shoe. Light weight and agile but with enough cushioning and a comfortable fit. Love them!

I have been using these little gems for a year now, and they are my absolute favourites for running and especially hiking. The soles give a good grip on all surfaces and make me feel like walking on clouds. I hike longer and faster with Sense Ride 3 than any other shoes/ boots!

I've put about 100M on them so far and I absolutely love these shoes. I mostly run hard pack CA dirt trails and shoes feel like heaven on my feet. No more fatigue or aching arches after 15+ miles. These babies will definitely be my new 50K and racing shoe due to their comfort and durability. I appreciate the comfortable tongue and quicklace design. Haven't tried the SR4, but hoping it feels similar underfoot.

I had to ask for recommendations from friends as to the most comfy walking trainers around and I have to say they did a brilliant job, these are a joy to trudge round in the freezing cold country side, great support and fit (I hate walking I might add but these have made it much more enjoyable)

Salomon is the bomb! I have been an avid hiker for... about 40 years. I have never owned a pair of shoes that were so comfortable, provided such solid traction, and kept their rugged sole as long as these. In addition to these (Salomon Sense Ride 3), I also own the Salomon 5 GTX. Other great qualities include: a roomy toe box so my toes don't get cramped; easy to rinse off and dry quickly; awesome easy to cinch laces, and honestly, I think they are really nice looking shoes! I bought these for more pedestrian walks and use my 5 GTX's for hiking but honestly these would work equally as well. Oh, and the color is gorgeous!

I have been wearing the Sense Ride since it's first version. I am happy with the 3's. It's cushioned and grippy. I am a trail runner who has mostly trail shoes, and I use this shoe as my "road" shoe.

My first salomon shoe was the speedcross, and I have to say that I wasn't very impressed with how fast the sole wore out on those shoes. They were also very heavy.
The sense ride's, on the other hand, had an amazingly durable sole that gripped surprisingly well on rocky scrambles. I've had these about 3 months so far and I've thrown them at all the gnarly terrain around the wasatch mountains, and they've done amazing. There's the perfect amount of cushion to smoothly carry you down steep hills without weighing you down on the ups. I even took these on the cottonwood traverse last week, which is about half of the famous WURL route. It's an extremely technical ridge scramble with about 7 miles of 4th class climbing. These shoes gripped the rock amazingly well, and didn't wear down after being slammed on all that rough rock.

This is my 5th pair of Sense Rides. I preordered when they were released and I have loved them ever sense then. They fit like they were made for me and they are the perfect mixed terrain shoe. When it gets a little more challenging I wear my Speedcross. My only wish for the Sense Ride would be for better color choices. (I LOVE my Speedcross 5 illusion blue-perfect!)

I bought this shoe one month ago, and it is the best shoe that I have ever purchased. I have many issues with my feet, and this shoe did not even need to be broken in slowly. After the first day of running I knew that I was going to enjoy them immensely. They are so comfortable and gentle on the feet yet very supportive. Each of my runs usually includes three types of surfaces (sidewalk, forest trail and rail trail). This shoe can handle it all very well. The toe box is exactly what I wanted and need. The navy blue with grey accent is the perfect colour. I bought it online to get that colour and I knew my size from wearing Salomon shoes. Do not stop making this shoe. Salomon has really nailed it creating this shoe!

these shoes are not only comfortable to run but just if you are walking around town. They fit great, never had to "break" them in before wearing. I would highly recommend them.

I've put 150 miles on these, and I can say these are the most versatile trail shoes I own. Super comfortable right out of the box (I ran 12 miles the first time I wore them) and they've held up nicely.
My only complaint is I wish the quick lace system was a little different. The laces actually cover the garage, so it's hard to store the laces. My other Salomon quick laces are easier to maneuver than these. If Salomon updates the garage, they would be absolutely perfect.
