The fit was good however the durability leaves much to be desired. The shoe itself uses sturdy weave fabric, however the toe is not made of rubber, rather they are constructed of some crepe type material that is prone to wear very quickly (purchased in April 2020), unlike the ankle height version of the cloud, which uses rubber for the toe, and lasts forever. So all-in-all I would not recommend these shoes based on those particulars.

I'm a swimming pool service contractor. Because of back issues I have feet nerve troubles. I've bought so many shoes over the years from Zappos. I'm always looking for shoes that will stand up to the California heat and water that I deal with everyday. These have been the best yet. Break in time was very short. I put my shoes through hell and back and these shoes have performed the best. There strong and hold there shape. Over the years the shoes I buy don't last to long and break down quickly. Not these though. The construction is great. I'm on my knees a lot and the toe end of the shoe which goes out first hasn't happened with these. It holds up very well. The padding inside also holds up well. The shoe strings also are strong and very well made. I have washed these shoes twice now and the washer doesn't tear them up at all. Strong and durable. The blue color also has not faded. This shoe is worth the money and I'm back to buy a second pair for backup down the road in case there discontinued. I am a size 11w. I bought a 11-1/2d and they fit perfect.

While these shoes look terrific they are way too narrow to be 4Es. This has been an ongoing problem with Dunhams shoes, i.e. inconsistent widths that may make me drop them as a brand. I’m tired of sending so much back.

Very comfortable shoe. Shoe color on website is not the same as the item. Shoe is light green as opposed to light brown on the website.

I have large feet (16) so options are limited. There is a popular brand that makes my size and the shoes NEVER last a year. Don't even think of throwing them in the wash because the come unglued. Dunhams are definitely more expensive but they last 4 times longer and can be washed and worn an used and they last until you wear out the treads so in the long run they are the better bargain.

I'm a devoted fan of Dunham and have owned many pairs over the years. This particular design, however, has one fatal flaw . . . there is no means for preventing the tongue from slipping out of place. Typically, on "sports" shoes, I'd expect a laces pass-through on the tongue or some other mechanism to keep it centered.

The size of the shoe was great. Great comfort. Although the shoes where aliitle heavy. The shoe was great for water conditions, puddles and dew. The down side was that toe started to pull apart from the shoes

I have been wearing Dunham Windsors for ages in 13-4E size, but needed to try something else as the Windsors started to rub on my achilles tendon too much. The Ludlows fit great. Have decent support. Using a Dr. Scholls 'orthotic', in addition to the Dunham insole I seem to get good support and my achilles tendon is not rubbing. Style is OK, but the Olive color is seriously Olive. The pics on the site make it look more tan to me. These are about as GREEN as olive can get. I hope they prove as durable and waterproof as the other Dunham shoes I've had over the years.

The shoes fit well on my narrow feet. They are indeed waterproof. I walk on mulched trails, eroded trails full of rocks and roots, and off trail through woods. They have great traction on wet hillsides -- but the downside is that the soles feel very thin. And now after five months walking 3 or 4 miles a day, the sole of one shoe has come unglued. Perhaps I expect too much, but I feel they should have lasted longer.

I usually have trouble finding stylish shoes the right size because my feet are wide. Seems to me that the shoe manufacturer switch from 3E to 4E for a sizing the last few years. What I have found is some of the 4E are actually too wide. It also takes me a while to break in a new pair of shoes as well. This pair Dunham was my first time purchasing this brand and I am extremely happy with the fit of the shoe. It is if the shoe was custom designed for my foot. No breaking time I put them on and they felt fantastic. I’ve only worn them a few times but I liked them so much I ordered a second pair for me and one for my son.

Overall they have a great feel to them, which I’ll admit at first, I was skeptical because I’d never heard of Dunham before. I’d easily put them on par with Keen’s for comfort, though there’s not as much room in the toe, it’s still a very comfortable fit, I just wish they had a little more support in the arch. I’ve already put about 30 miles of hiking on them in the last week and wearing them on the job. This won’t be my last pair of Dunham’s.

I was very concerned these would be too narrow because of reviews. Perhaps those reviewers were not reviewing the 4E width, because I have some pretty wide dogs. These things feel good and look good. I plan to wear the crap out of these.

Great shoe / sneaker, even better if you get a good inner sole for it. Not to heavy, it's become my everyday shoe.

Zig Zag stitching on sides of shoes hurt near my big toe. I wore them just to walk around inside house ( test fit ) I could tell the Zig Zag stitch would rub skin raw in a short time. So i returned them. Im currently testin different Dunham Cloud that does not have the Zig Zag stitches. also testing DREW Surge, the Drew is very nice...uh, maybe you would like them too.

I need a shoe with narrow heel cup and wider toe box. Usually order 10.5-11 B or C. Had to get 11-D width in this shoe and tolerate slightly loose heel fit. Probably will order New Balance or Rockport again since the shoe last of Dunham isn't a perfect fit for me.

I have worn these shoes almost every day for a year. I have wide feet and these are the most comfortable casual lace up I’ve owned. I also like that even though these are 4E they don’t make my feet look like square boxes. I’m only disappointed that when I went to order a back up pair they were completely out of stock in my size.
