I had the Kipling Alvar for many years and just purchased a new one and a couple other Kipling bags to try, one of them being this bag, the Gabby. I actually like the Gabby better than my old favorite. What I like about this one is when the bags are packed with stuff and more globe like, the front outside pockets sit up high enough that they stay easy to access. On the Avlar the bottom front outside zipper pocket would be at the bottom of the globe of the purse and hard to access (sort of facing the ground so to speak). Also the Alvar has a divider in the center of the main compartment which is restrictive. The Gabby has a nice big open compartment which holds more and has easier access. The strap on the Gabby narrower than the Alvar which is cuter. I have another similar bag by Baggolini and the strap on that one is not as thick and comfy as the Kipling and the edge of it cuts into my neck; it's seatbelt material. Kipling straps are thicker, have soft edges and are way more comfortable.

Got this purse in chalk grey and the material is sturdy and well made. I really love the size as it is not too big and not too small. The color is a very light grey which will go well with many outfits. Also pockets are nice size and fit a cell phone and other items without getting lost. Will order again in different color

Perfect size

I wanted something smaller than my Baggalini with lots of pockets and this is perfect! Love the color and the big zippers and my grandson adored the monkey.

I have used some form of Kipling bags for 23 years. They are light, stylish, and have lots of pockets.

This is my second S Gabbie. I like the size of this bag, not to small or to big. I also like that it is light weight. the pockets are good, I keep my cell phone in the back outside pocket because it is a tight fit in the front smaller pocket.

It is a perfect size for putting all essentials and still do not over-weight you. I love this ag

I had several bags sent and only kept one. This one was larger than I wanted. It was also too light and I thought would show dirt. Returned it.
