Shoe is breaking down after one camping trip. Went on 4 hikes, approximately 50 miles and lost integrity of waterproofing. Toe is also soft and doesn't protect against impact, I have three toenails that will probably be falling off from this. Despite these, they were very comfortable and lightweight. I never had sore feet and there was no breaking in period in terms of blisters. I always wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfect. I find that North Face typically runs big. I will probably stick to more traditional hiking boot brands from now on like Keen or Merrill.

Finally a modern design in a great color! The outdoor industry is too ingrained in making women's products in pinks, purples and teals. It makes me crazy. I often find myself wanting men's products because of the styling and color choices, but of course, those products never fit properly. I'm happy to see women's product shifting! This boot is the perfect hybrid between a proper hiking boot and a tennis shoe. I wanted something lightweight, sleek, comfortable and with proper ankle support, for a trip to Moab in a few weeks but could not imagine taking my bulkier hiking boots (also north face and I love them... lasted me years 8+ years now) because of the heat. The reviews were very mixed so I was hesitant to buy... however appreciating the design, color and overall aesthetic, I decided to give it a chance. I wanted something that would work for all of the outdoor activity we will be doing, but still cute to be able to wear in casual settings too. Now, I have not given these a proper beating yet so I can't review the durability quite yet, but I do walk trails daily as I live in the cascades mountains in Washington State. So far so good. Comfortable and super lightweight. I will give them a proper test when I go to Moab in a few weeks! I hope they work out! I am a true size 7 but website was sold out of 7 at the time. I sized up to 7 1/2. They fit great! I prefer to have some toe room for hiking shoes because of steep declines so the 7 1/2 worked out perfectly.

I have really liked these shoes for general hiking, no extreme weather conditions yet but general wet forests and they have held up well

These are great after putting in an insole. They breathe well and they hug the feet all around well compared to my other boots. Orange color matches the local wildlife.

Haven't taken these to the hills yet but so far they're super comfortable and I love that they're waterproof for hikes through streams. Planning on bringing these to the national parks out west!

I'm a true size 8 and this shoe is on the verge of running small but it works for my 2-7 mile hikes. Anything longer and I'd need a bigger size. Comfortable and stylish as well.

Great shoes. Super lightweight but sturdy. Love that they cover the ankles. They get very tight after being worn for an extended period of time but I think they're breaking in well.

These shoes are wonderful for city AND nature use! They provide excellent support without the weight of traditional hiking boots.

I love taking these shoes on all types of hikes; they hold up well in the mud and are waterproof so far. I can't believe how lightweight and comfortable they are. There is no need to "break them in". I have had no points of discomfort or hot spots. I have been walking on snow and ice frequently which has not been a problem at all since the outsole is well-designed and grippy. They are my new favorite hiking shoe, well-designed and super high quality.
