I run 50 miles per week (pavement + trail). I also hike on the weekends. These shoes are too narrow. Believe or not, I need a shoehorn to put them on. Incredible!. In addition to this, the upper mesh does not protect the foot, therefore I wouldnt use these shoes for hiking or trail running either. Last but not least, I dont feel safe wearing them on a rainy day. I have the feeling that I am going to slip at any moment. In a nutshell: very poor design.

I love these shoes. I have these same shoes in a different color and loved them so I bought these ones too.

I love my new tennis shoes! Converted to women's size perfectly. Great support from heel to arch to toe for me. Breathable, lightweight, and flexible to fit my feet perfectly.

I bought these shoes to hike and trail in; they are tight, but they started to loosen up after a while, Now although I haven't had these for long, the inside of the shoe started to come off. It's a little strange because these babies cost some money, but I love them, and I wish they still sold them.

I would buy them if they come in a variety of colors

Nice looking shoe. I was searching for a lightweight shoe that I could wear with my casual and jogger pants. These shoes are great for both needs. I had to get 1/2 size bigger as they come small.

I use this for short hikes with not so challenging terrain.

Listen to the reviews, order at least 1/2 a size bigger. The shoes will feel a little stiff at first but will be very comfortable once they break in.

I actually sent these back because I ordered a 7.5 which were too small. I usually wear 7.5 in TNF but these were a bit too tight. That was over 5 months ago and four TNF pairs of shoes later and I plan on reordering them before summer in a size 8.

Use these when I run. They fit great and have a durable sole. They could use a bit more cushion but overall very pleased. I liked them so much I bought myself another pair in a different color and also bought a pair for my wife.

Loves these shoes for everyday wear and running. Very very comfortable out of the box, but due to the material the shoe is made of it needs to stretch out some during break in. Which took only a day or two. I personally would not wear these for any big hikes the upper portion of the shoe does not provide stable support for if you're on steep/rocky trails. Sole of the shoe seems very durable, and provides good traction on pavement and flat dirt trails. Still love the shoe for what it is, but not something I would hike in.

As a TNF Ultrarunner, I've been running in this shoe 6 days a week and loving it. ITs responsive, comfortable, fast, and light. I live in Montana and it's perfect for the trails around my home in Missoula. I would race up to 50 miles in this shoe with no questions asked.

These shoes have a light mesh and grippy soles. I really enjoy them for trail running. Echoing other reviews, they are small and somewhat narrow so keep in mind when ordering. I ordered a half size larger after reading some reviews and they fit great. Also like other reviews have mentioned not the best for all day rugged hiking. I've taken them on some short hikes but I can see the mesh ripping depending where you take them. But as far for my trail running in a local canyon they are perfect.

Good walking shoes. Very lightweight and breathable. Haven't tried them on a hike yet, but very grippy on gravel paths. Fit is true to size, but snug. So, break-in period needed in order for stretch fabric to conform to your feet.

I really like how they look but they started falling apart in the first month. Black grips on the bottom are falling off.

I have several The North Face shoes. All same size and these ones (blue/black) just won't fit. It is a struggle to even put them on since lack of a grab angle. Won't wear them for even running. Only for a casual night.

These shoes are good looking but run very small. I have to return them due to tightness around my foot. I usually wear a solid size 12.

Okay for short use but it's too narrow and hence upon prolonged use, it starts to press sideways and hence very uncomfortable
