I like the style and the fit, very comfortable and good grip on the trails. Unfortunately, after about 20 miles of hiking, the black membrane is already peeling off around the toe crease. For this price, I'm definitely disappointed in the durability. Now to find out if the warranty department is going to just slap some glue on there or offer me a refund...

After reading the comments, I was a little concerned about its durability. I bought them for four days of back country in Grand Teton. They were perfect. They were perfectly snug and comfortable. There were parts of the hike that was intense uphill steep climbs with alittle scrambles, but the shoes held up well. I felt like there were alot of wet creeks along the way and never had slipping issue. In terms of waterproof ability, it was definitely waterproof. The shoe itself had a tendency to get wet on the surface, but it never went through the shoes. I know alot of people had bad experience with the shoes but personally as a experienced climber, I was impressed by its durability after pushing it to its limits.

Comfortable, true to size. Did not expect these to be a serious hiking boot and I don’t wear them for that. Not sure why people are using them that way. Pleased with wearing them around town and on dirt paths. Picture a warm sneaker you can wear in the rain.

With minimal break in, hiked 17 miles my first trip with these over 3 days and 4K ft in elevation over various terrain, rock, mud, streams, roots, handled all with ease and my feet felt great afterward/lugging a 60# backpack. Not a single blister. Paired these with some then individual toe socks, then a quality wool sock and they handled temps from the 50s without over hearing and down to 20’s without being too cold. Great bang for the buck and would definitely order again.

These boots were perfect on an all-day hike! My wife and I did a 15 mile hike around Big Sur and my feet felt great after! They were supportive enough for hiking up mountains and they were light enough that they didn't weigh me down. We also hiked on the beach and a few rivers. They breathe very well and dried very quickly. Perfect all-around hiking boots!

I have used these boot for day hiking over the last month in Ohio / Pennsylvania and have put around 65 miles on the boots. I have used these boots in deep mud, stream crossings and various accents / descents. The boots have stayed surprisingly dry and comfortable through out the hike. As far as sizing goes, I wear an 11 1/2 in Nike running shoes and the boots fit true to size.

Bought these for my boyfriend ahead of taking some spring hikes and he's been really happy with them. He is used to his high tops for basketball and is super picky about his shoes, so the fact that he likes these is impressive. Comfortable, good ankle support, and lightweight.

Bought these for a weekend trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion and they were perfect! We did easy to moderate climbs. Shoes were great. They did well in the snow but also just on gravel paths. Receive complaints on their style from others.

Great look and fit. They are wide around the toe box and didn't take any time to break in which is awesome. Dont expect them to last years though.

The shoe has been great in the snow and nice enough to wear to work so I'm not needing to change from snow boots into sneakers. Great for hikes as well. Many of my friends want to buy the same model now.

I bought these for my first hiking shoes. They are great. They don't look like boots at all. They keep my feet dry even when hiking in the snow. I would purchase again

I use these boots for work inside and then out in the snow being water resistant and the light weight make them ideal.
