The comfort of this shoe is unmatched by many brands let alone a boat shoe. They are as comfortable as some of the most modern athletic shoes with classic Sperry style and quality. Great shoe.

Better than expected- finally a boat shoe that has some arch support. I will never go back to the older style.
In the picture, the wavey sole looks kind of weird but in reality, doesn't look weird at all.
My only complaint is that I wish they had more variety of shoe and sole colors.

The shoe is amazingly light especially considering how comfortable it is. It looks good and would be perfect if I could get a better fit. The 12 was too large (normal size) and the 11 1/2 is a tad small but I am keeping it as it seems more likely to stretch a bit than to shrink. I would recommend the shoe to anyone who asks.

After 9 years of sailing and wearing my old Sperry 'dockside' shoes, I finally admitted it was time to move on to another pair. The 'Plushwave' shoes are a step up for sure.
The thick sole adds to greater comfort. I ordered my correct size and the shoes fit perfect. The only thing I had to do was put a neutral wax shine on them and oil the leather cord.
They not only look great, they feel great.

I buy a Sperry to wear every year. This year I bought a more comfortable shoe. Great decision because this shoe feels like you're wearing house shoes. Highly recommended.

The basic Top Sider has been my everyday shoe for many years, for everything except long walks and digging in the yard. I was advised by a podiatrist that as I aged, I started to lose the natural padding on the bottom of my feet, and that I should get a shoe with more padding. And there was the Plushwave. Immediate comfort and perfect fit, and I had them broken in for the easy slip-on within a few days.

My shoes are at least 5-6 yrs old. Great all around and really great for my boat. We sail and get things wet at times. No issue and going to buy another pair.
We have there generations of family in Sperry

I really like the style and the materials, unfortunately, the shoes were just a little too tight.

Extremely light-weight. Only quibble- one of the laces already broke.

need to make wide width more available. In many of your shoes I would ware a wide width and I have ever 10 pair of sperrys. The ones where wide was an option these shoes are very comfortable

The shoelaces broke within 3 months of purchase and Sperry doesn't carry replacements. I couldn't easily find a replacement online.

Shoes are very comfortable and I can wear them all day and feel good. The only issue is that a lace broke and it is to short to tie. So I can't wear them until re-laced.

I feel
Like the leather uppers are awfully thin. Rawhide laces too thick

Quality not as good as other Billfish styles so I'm a little disappointed in that regard, especially considering the price of the pushwave. Don't think I would buy new products online again. Fit and style are what I expected and the lightweight comfort is good. I'm hoping these shoes hold up and wear as well as other Sperry shoes I've owned.

Problem...first time I wore them
Without socks the insert came up. I will have to glue. This shoe is lesser quality over all from previous purchases.

While the new sole is lightweight and comfortable under the forefoot, it was lacking material in the heel. There was what felt like a void in material in the edge of the heel. The hole could be felt with each heel strike of the step making the overall stride uncomfortable. Also the inclusion of the leather laces over the previous version's cloth laces is a downgrade for a more active wear boatshoe. Overall needs improvement. The new billfish colors are an improvement in style.
