I have had many Sperry boat shoes through the years. Usually the leather is soft and comfortable. This was not the case with the PlushWave shoe. The shoe was light weight as advertised but the leather upper was stiff/not leather like. Also the footbed did not offer much support...... I expect comfortable shoes from Sperry, these were inferior. Sperry if you are reading this, use good quality soft leathers and perhaps consider some narrow size shoes. Ladies with narrow feet would like shoes that fit too.

These are lovely boat shoes and super lightweight. I was really looking forward to wearing these regularly, but they are just too big. I have worn the same size in sperry's brand in all other styles, but this one is noticeably larger in both length and width. Sizing down didn't work as it was still too wide. Unfortunate.

They are definitely longer and wider than other Sperry shoes. The leather felt stiff - it might have softened up over time, but of course, I didn't keep them. It's helpful when I company has some quality control in their sizing. I expect different brands might fit differently, but there should be standards within a single company.
